Yes, hooray for those 600 former Acclaim employees who are now out-of-work... I never said I didn't feel sympathy, and later on in my post said as much especially regarding Acclaim's practices toward their employees in the final days. Fuck the higher-ups and executives for leading them into this situation and not even giving the employees a chance to get off the sinking ship, however.

EA and Activision are splitting the Marvel properties, the EA deal coming about earlier this year. EA is basically taking Capcom's previous spot, since Activision and Capcom had the same type of arrangement with splitting properties/genres. Activision did the Spider-Man games, the 3D X-Men fighting games, and the upcoming X-Men Legends RPG. EA hasn't done anything as of yet, but as can be inferred from the articles, are prepping fighting games using their own newly developed characters versus Marvel guys.

On the other hand, I think this is a great opportunity. I suggest you take part. Post updates, also.

Hmmm. I was referring to wrestling ability. I'm well aware of that, and I agree, which is why I mentioned Batista's other positives... stuff which Edge doesn't have going for him anymore.

True. His moveset just strikes me as "light", for lack of a better term. Nothing befitting a guy who's due for the big title and who WWE wants us to believe belongs in the upper card. His moveset seems stuck in the SmackDown Six era, with nothing too threatening, and mostly stuff more suitable to short spurts, comebacks, etc. His moveset is almost bizarre, coming from this 6'5" guy who should have more impactful stuff. His character sucks too. Serious inside the ring, yet cracking wise and trying to match wits on the mic and dancing around on the stage like a goof, which these days comes across as almost desperation, unnatural in some ways. Because of that, his latest attempts to be serious by calling out Evolution, to be the man to take them down can only be seen as a joke, and his blandness since the comeback isn't helping. I can say people would've gotten sick of that eventually.

A decade ago he'd have been more misused than he would be now. Meh... I won't believe it until it actually happens. It may not even lead to anything.

Because their million dollar contracts and generally being the go to player on their respective teams as well as being regarded among the best in the NBA, can attest to that fact. Seriously, it's "just the Olympics", where a poorly constructed US team made the trip and found the rest of the world caught up. It's not that big of deal.

Wes was still jaded and bitter due to Billy and being tortured by the Gunn/Fred relationship. It was that, and the Connor saga, which made him so fucked up. But because the whole Connor saga was missing from his memories, he was better off and happier in the early part of season five. As far as his scar goes, it can be assumed that it was a battle injury, the memories of said battle being a false implant. Simple.

In regards to the Nickelback/Linkin Park thing... it's all the same to me. Not in style, sure, but I find one as shallow and cliche as the other. As far as radio stations go, they've always been horrible, although it's more disheartening that these days a majority of them are controlled by the same two or three companies. The best thing you can do is ignore them. Our major rock station around here is KBPI, and it's usually Godsmack/Linkin Park/Puddle of Mudd/Nickelback/Korn. Though there are a couple of decent shows dedicated to metal and local bands every weekend.

Just let Kidman do the BK/Rydeen Bomb for a finish, or have him go back to the Sit Out Pedigree/Angel's Wings he would to do on occasion in WCW... although that was always a nearfall thing for him, but we'll just forget that. Corey's suggestion is good, too. Anyway, I like Kidman's SSP also. It's at least a different take on it. It would do a world of good if it weren't performed so tightly in the corner, which is where a lot of the problems with it comes from.
