At first it was one bottle of wine but then later on they released a detail that there was also a waste basket with 10 empty beer cans in it.

Is this the One Ring Circus one you mentioned that's going to be released soon?

I don't see much arguing anymore, either.

Thanks Chris

Alright I might have to change my tune on this. This resurgance in EWR/TEW talk as rekindled my interest. Though I really don't have tons of time to tool around with it, I'd like to give the demo of TEW2007 a go and see how it is compared to the first iteration of TEW that I tried way back when.. Walkin' Dude, is the stats package you have for June for TEW 2007 or is this strictly EWR? If not anyone know where I could get a "real life" update for TEW 2007 that's fairly current? I don't think anything will ever replace EWR for me but I guess I should give the new TEW a chance..

Yup, Murdoch was Stan Dupp.

I tried the veggie lyfestyle... briefly. Salads, tofu, fruit baskets, veggieburgers, homemade carrot juice, all that crap. I think it took me about a week before I ran screaming into a Mcdonalds. Honestly, that's a pretty limiting in terms of a menu selection if you ask me. The problem is is that people who think it's so boring lifeless are just going for the boring things. Vegetarian meals aren't just salads and tofu or fruits and vegetables on their own. There are tons of ridiculously diverse meal selections out there. Dunno about Texas, but these are just a few of the restaurants here in my city, check out their menus and you'll see what I mean. http://www.vegetarianhaven.com/ http://www.juiceforlife.com/takeout_menu.pdf http://www.fressenrestaurant.com/ Add to that the countless other restaurants that offer vegetarian fare (alongside their standard menu) like http://www.saladking.com/ and you've got yourself a lot of options - and boring and lifeless aren't on the list.

Who is Midnight? Seriously, I get what she's trying to do here. But this really comes off as just another dig at WWE. In one sentence she blasts them for their media-ready statements about Benoit passing his test.. but then she goes on in the next sentence to say she can't speak for WWE's drug testing policies. I also love that she's so sure that it must have been something backstage in WWE that caused him to snap. She says that WWE were the catalyst for Benoit snapping. As if. He didn't work there his entire career did he? I'd say if you're going to blame anything wrestling related as a catalyst, then how about just blaming the business as a whole? Thanks for chiming in there, Midnight. Valet for one year in WCW. Expert on the wrestling business.

As said above, if it's in games where it makes sense.. ie: billboards in GTA, or signs in Rainbow Six, etc. then it's fine. A big NO to it if it's in: - fantasy / rpg games or any other game that doesn't take place in "this world/realm/time period" - the form of loading screens - it doesn't sound so bad at first, but it would easily annoy the shit out of me to see an ad for Pepsi or something every time a scene or level was loading.

Same here. I usually edit the hell out of the wrestlers I use prior to starting any new scenario.

So Angle's a heel now? I haven't watched any wrestling aside from Puro in months.. from what I gather having an Appreciation Night means you're automatically a heel, correct? It's just like suddenly growing facial hair...
-
I'm the opposite. TEW is too involved for me to spend time on. I like the simplicity of EWR.

Are you for real? The story's not done and dusted. It's only been a little over a week. We haven't even received toxicology reports yet.

Did anyone see this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQQS8pGw1M0

That match is on the Horsemen DVD, correct?

The closest thing is what happened to comedian and SNL alumni Phil Hartmann. In May 1998, Phil was murdered by his wife, Brynn, and then she committed suicide. All this happened with their two children in his house. They were physically unharmed. That came to mind as well. I'm just trying to draw a comparison and see how other companies might have dealt with it.. Hartman I can't really draw too much from since it was his wife that snapped.
-
Does that mean Hogan and Savage will be waving towels at eachother?
-
Can anyone think of something like this that has happened in Sports, Music, or Movies in the past? Where the entertainer committed murder, and possibly suicide as well? I've been trying to think of something (haven't done any searches yet though) and haven't been able to come up with anything.. No OJ's please..

So if they really do take all of his matches out of everything, some cards such as Wrestlemania XX and Summerslam 2004 are gonna look weird. I understand that WWE is dealing with something really unprecedented in wrestling but I think editing things in the long run will be ridiculous. Short term, sure.. when it's fresh in people's minds. But I really don't think this will last forever.

As much as I hate to agree with PETA (their cause is worthy but their tactics are not) the milk thing is true. It's not natural for any species to drink the milk of another regardless of if they're carnivores, herbivores or omnivores. Cows have four stomachs in order to fully digest what they consume.. we have one. That's why there are so many lactose intolerant (myself included) people out there. The calcium argument holds no ground either.. you can get it from so many other sources. Plus I think our problem here in North America is TOO MUCH calcium, which can actually cause osteoperosis in the end. As for the whole topic of this thread - I was a strict vegetarian for 10 years. Health reasons.. I was overweight and "converted" in order to lose the weight. I stuck with it for many years after but about a year and a half ago I slowly weened myself back onto meat. I eat organic meat now. Steak, fish, chicken, etc. (I would never touch pork to begin with just because it grosses me out.. don't really like the taste.) But I have to say that there is a place for vegetarian meals and whatnot in my meal plan, that's for sure. Anyone who says that a vegetarian meal is boring and lifeless is probably just being ignorant and has never really had something vegetarian other than a Garden Salad. Finally, as for the tofu thing. I think it's hit or miss. Usually when it tries to mimic a meat substance it's not too great.. but when cooked in a traditional sense.. ie: in most Asian cooking, it's VERY tasty. I don't see how anyone could not like Mushu Tofu (shredded tofu, mushrooms and hoisin sauce wrapped in Chinese pancakes) ...so good!

It was really annoying watching the Warrior interview. Not for what he was saying, but just because he was obviously on a time delay of a few seconds and the hosts would ask him something - then he'd listen - but wouldn't answer right away so the hosts would just interrupt when he did try to answer.
-
Does he even still wrestle? I thought he was a highschool teacher now, or something. WWE.com just did a Where Are They Now? article on him.

The WWE would have fallen in size anyway. After a few of the early patches, TEW was tweaked to make it harder for a promotion to achieve and maintain growth. I've had a few crazy things happen too; Ricky Morton retired and died on the same day at one point. is there an EWR type thread on this board anywhere by chance There is in the Video Games section. Just do a search and it should pop up. i could not find one, if there is an active one could i have a link otherwise i might start one up Here is the biggest thread for EWR 4.x: http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...extreme+warfare And a few other smaller threads: http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...extreme+warfare http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...extreme+warfare http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...extreme+warfare It's one of those quirks of the board where you can't do a search for any string that's under four characters. So EWR turns nothing up, but Extreme Warfare Revenge does.

I'd aim that stereotype at casual fans - as I myself would rather watch a Steve Corino or a CW Anderson anyday over Bobby Lashley or Batista. While I'm positive that the casual fans and their money influence what Vince pushes in some effect.. we all know that what Vince wants to get pushed, gets pushed, even if the fans DON'T like it.
