  1. More info on this please ! From his Wiki page...
  2. Technically this can be considered general wrestling now, but what the hell, from Gerweck:
  3. Hogan on the case... http://usmagazine.com/hulk_hogan_talks_to_...killer_wrestler Dunno if it's been posted, but he talks about how Nancy was into devil worship and how she got too close to her character from the Sullivan days... *sigh*
  4. This is quite a leap to make without really actually knowing anything about the Benoit family home/situation previously. Somewhat ironic her name is Rambo though. Nevemind even knowing anything about wrestling either - where one of the main objectives aside from entertaining the fans is to protect your opponent. She strikes me as the kind of person who would say that he was paid to be violent in one sentence.. but then turn around and make fun of wrestling for being fake.

    HD DVD/Blu-Ray

Better clarity? So the lesson here is if it's available in both formats - and if you're someone who plans to get the combo player from Samsung - then get the Blu Ray version of the movie? Also - I've seen a lot of DVD/HDDVD combo discs lately.. and I've bought a few. Does Blu Ray do the same sort of thing? I think it's a great idea and really gets me invested into the idea of switching to a high def player down the road if I have all of these high def dvds laying around.
  6. Awesome! I'm psyched for this. Count me in the group that wasn't a huge fan of the second movie - but loved the first. I'm defintiely interested in seeing it how it was meant to be cut, or uncut for that matter.
  7. Did SOH actually lose his eye though? I'd heard he had a really bad break in his orbital bone and has bad vision out of that eye now. That's as far as I've heard, so maybe he did eventually lose it to surgery or something.
  8. What timing for Rey, if it's him mentioned in the documents... http://www.wwe.com/content/media/touts/feature/29062/4884780
  9. Sorry if this has been asked: but has Konnan been released? I know he is scheduled for his kidney replacement.. but I just saw him on Nancy Grace and he said "the company that I WAS with at the time, TNA, wouldn't pay for it" with it being his hip replacement a while back. EDIT: Ahh, found it a few pages back. That's too bad, he really was a good mouthpiece of LAX. I can understand his frustration though.
  10. Has it only been a little over a week since this all broke out? This isn't the biggest thread @ TSM, but it certainly has to be one of the fastest growers, that's for damn sure...
  11. If you want to sell the dvd, i say wait another week or two because this will still be on everyone's mine maybe even more so than it is now, so people buying the dvds may pay more in another week or so. So, a while back it was distasteful, but now it's okay to start making money off of this incident?
  12. Best zombie comic. Ever.
  13. Add to that that that title isn't even recognized as the IWGP belt anymore. NJPW has gone back to the Crown title and Yuji Nagata currently holds that (soon to be taken by Togi Makabe, I hope )!
  14. Jesus Christ it's painful to watch/listen to Meltzer "talk"... No, because before all this happened, he was a decent human being. Unforgiving people don't understand there are things in this world that can damage your brain and make you do sick, crazy things, even though you were basically a good person. Because he took a picture with you once you know he was a decent human being? You don't know the first thing about what kind of guy Benoit was. I don't care what all the other wrestlers say about him. Like I've said, when do you ever hear people say bad things about serial killers? It's nothing but "Oh I can't believe he'd ever do this, he was such a mild-mannered guy, he loved everyone. This is totally unlike the person I knew." Get a fuckin' clue, dumbass. All the time. You're just picking out the cliche of "it's always the quiet ones you least suspect." Watch some A&E sometime... WRONG. In order for it to be an IWGP championship match it'd have to be sanctioned by NJPW. That match wasnt. In fact. That belt is the one Lesnar stole and Inoki's IGF is calling it the "IWGP 3rd Belt" - a copyright infringement, btw - the current IWGP champion is Yuji Nagata. Reefs?
  15. Good lord.. more shameful advertising in the vein of Nacho Libre.. http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/kingleonidas/ Now King Leonidas (300) has a profile on the Smackdown Superstars page...
  16. Jesse and Festus? Is Festus the Fake Kane dude.. Freakin Decon or something?
  17. Pretty good blog entry from IGN... http://blogs.ign.com/matt-ign Very well put, IMO.
  18. Okay, I've finally seen Debra give her interviews and I gotta say I side with her on this whole thing. I don't see how she's pushing her own agenda. She seems very sincere in what she's saying. Most people who want to push their own hidden agenda would be a little more over the top and loud (for lack of a better term) about what they're speaking on. She doesn't seem like the regular group who are harping on WWE for no apparent reason, rather she's got some pretty good reasons to be coming out of the woodwork and speaking up on this kind of thing. ...and for the record, it looks like a lot of you in this thread are misquoting her and getting all pissed off at your own misquotation. Where she talks about if she had've spoken up earlier that Nancy would be alive. She doesn't say it as a definite. She says MAYBE she COULD have saved her. EDIT: ..and in no way does this mean I support the argument that Roid Rage was the deciding factor in what caused this tragedy. I'm just saying that I can see where she's coming from and I can see why she feels the need to speak up now that something like this has happened.
  19. Puroresupower.com is the only site that I can find mention on.
  20. He doesn't look much different aside from being white as a ghost..
  21. What does that even mean?
  22. The "details" of a murder suicide at that time were only speculatory though, weren't they? Investigators only said they were treating the case this way, but it hadn't been officially confirmed that that's what'd happened. Considering nancy was obviously tied up and killed, the child was dead and Benoit was found hanged with an empty wine bottle near by and no signs of a break in, you don't have to be Columbo to figure out what happened and who killed who. The police were probably 99% sure what happened, but had to wait until the autopsies for confirmation. They were as certain as you're allowed to be, and I'm sure WWE were aware of that. So you're saying that they released those details to WWE before they made it public during the press conference the next day? Because that's when the rest of the world found out about the specifics. I have a hard time believing that WWE would go ahead with the tribute if they knew those details. I'm calling bullshit on this one. Vince is a prick but he's not THAT insensitive. They woudn't have to go into details. Just say "We're fairly sure Benoit killed his wife and child and then committed suicide." No, they wouldn't. But none of us were there and all we have is some PWI "hotline" telling us that they knew with 45 minutes left in the 3 hour block of programming. I think that sort of shit is just as bad as the crazies jumping on the roid rage bandwagon and to shut down the WWE.
  23. Pillman and Russ Haas (Charlies Brother, they were in the minors at the time of his death in 2001) I was just thinking about it, Benoit is now just the second Horseman to die after Pillman. not exactly a feat anyone would want to accomplish rick mcgraw Rick McGraw was a Horseman?

  25. EDIT: The sub-title on this thread should read IWGP, not IGWP. Sorry! All credit due to Puroresupower.com Puroresufan.com posted this yesterday: Gotta say I'm no NJPW's side for this one. Inoki is a dick and so is Lesnar. Aside from the trademark issue.. isn't the belt the LEGAL property of NJPW? They had it made. They paid for it. Lesnar skipped out on the country and essentially stole their property. This would be akin to myself stealing my CPU at work if I left my job.
