I don't know if I want to watch this... I don't want a 360.. and if I got a PS3 it wouldn't be for a long, LONG time... if this isn't making it on the Wii, then watching the trailer is just going to make me want to play it even more, so I guess I'll steer clear for now. =\

If true, this is my favorite video game news in a long, long time. I have the GBA versions of the game, and I have FPD for the Dreamcast, but I've never bothered to mod my PS2 or anything like that. Here is the link to the thread at the FPC board. I emailed the guy, and he said that it will be for the PS2. I also did an online search for the email address, and it does indeed look totally legit. I saw you registered an account there - welcome aboard. Even though I own a Japanese PS2 and the original FPR, I'm still very psyched for this release and the potential it could open up for even more Firepro games in the future!

There's a dude over at the Firepro Club forums who says he works for Agetec (www.agetec.com) and is saying that they've just got the rights to publish this game for North America and Europe. He gave an Agetec email address as well and I tried it out and he responded back. Looks like it's legit! So all of you who want to play this but don't have the means.. looks like your wait will soon be over. (The reason he's there, apparently, is because he's asking the diehard fans for their input on the project as far as translation and editing the game goes.)

07 came in yesterday. It's not too bad, at all. The new controls take some getting used to but I like that you can use the old style controls as well. One question: how the hell does the "only announces one tag team members name" bug get by development? You'd think it'd be something pretty easy to notice AND fix.

Anyone else watching this season? I'm just wondering what's up with all of the Mr. Sub product placement? This is a Canadian sub-sandwich franchise.. did they just recently expand into the States or something?

Most players can be hacked, though, right? Even if they're not advertised as region free. My old Citizen wasn't and I had found a hack online where you had to enter a sequence of numbers on the setup menu and it unlocked the ability to play other regions.

What model would you recommend? (preferabily with the ability to region-free hack it)

I nearly pissed myself laughing at it when I saw it for the first time last night. Actually found it via the Fireproclub website.

There is a fourth photo up on http://www.1-18-08.com/ It's a blurry "running in the street" photo - but you can make out a soldier and some civilian types. Also, projectcloverfield.com has a few more entries up, including what could be leaked footage of some random people running the streets + military vehicles, and down the page a bit is another photo that was apparently found on the Slusho.jp site that could be some indication as to what the monster is (or not).
