Danny, you tool. "Alex Chilton" is better than "September Gurls"? "The Ballad of El Goodo"?
And all this Third Eye Blind talk is giving me an ulcer. The only good thing they ever did was lift the riff from "Sweet Jane."
He's a pretty cool guy in person, but yeah, his band blows. I hope these guys make the most of the sure to be fleeting attention they're receiving, though, as I've said elsewhere, I don't think they deserve it.
I think you can balance the two. That you would often derail threads with your "Thugger Than Thou" bullshit is what made a lot of people—myself included—loathe you.
I haven't heard of any of these so-called sports figures. The only TV I watch is pro wrestling. My girlfriend watches whatever she watches, but I don't usually pay attention. I've never read a newspaper, nor do I listen to the radio.
I can understand people who don't watch tv or whatever, but no newspaper or radio either? How do you get news?
Do you understand it's possible for one to read a newspaper yet skip the sports section entirely?
Do you understand how to read? Look at the bolded part of his post.
Do you understand it's possible to read the news via the internet?

Why? I don't fault anyone for not wanting to go, but you post enough about how you're always eating fast food. It's not as if your's is a discerning palate.
TGIF has decent appetizers, but that's all I remember about them. I never go to those type places anymore.
Truthfully, I think Admin Mike did get sniffy about something like this once, but I don't really care. He won't log into the board again for another three or so weeks, anyway.
I've seen Cex live! He was bad, but he doesn't warrant a mention in that "Worst Shows" thread I've got going.
EDIT: Since Kinetic edited his post, I'll post the album cover by Cex—the "prick" he was referring to—here:
Cex was one of the worst things the indie community was taking seriously four or five years ago. I'd say I'm glad no one pays attention to him anymore, but so much other shit has taken his place. It makes no difference.
