Kevin Millwood...Livan Hernandez... Bartolo Colon...Danny Graves. Eddie Guardado...Keith Foulke...Tejada can play third...and then there's Vlady. That's the best set of starters available? I honestly don't like any of them. Millwood IMO is the best of the grouop. He's unproven in the AL though.

Stop blaming Weaver. Everyone knows he sucks, and knew he'd screw up. Joe Torre should get the blame for putting him in the game in the first place.

What a teams does isn't supposed to come into play. Berrora is my pick. He plays SS, and after struggling early defensivley he played well in the field. The numbers are also good, for his position.

Rose Bowl is back to PAC 10 vs Big 10. #1 reason I hate the BCS...people now have to be reminded that the Pac-10 and Big Ten play in the Rose Bowl. What guarantee does a playoff have of a Big 10-Pac 10 matchup? I do agree though, that the BCS has ruined the tradition of the Rose Bowl.

I say Atlanta. Than they draft Roy Williams.

Weaver's not cut out for New York. If a team like Anaheim signs him I think he'll pitch like he did for the Tigers in 2002. As for the Twins. Wave goodbye to Hawkins, and Guardado. For some reason Corey Koskie was given a 4.5 milion option was picked up. That almost makes it certain Hawkins, and Guardado are gone. The rotation should be good. Radke, Milton, Santana, and Lohse. With someone like J.D. Durbin has the 5th starter. The Lineup should look the same for the most part. Stewart will be gone. So Jones moves back the Left, i'm guessing Cuddyer will get the first crack at RF, but Ryan will get an opportunity has well. AJ Pierzynski is a mystery at this point. Rumors had him being trade for bullpen help which the Twins will almost certainly need. Considering Pierzynski is arbitration eligible, and with budget concerns, and with Joe Mauer waiting in the wings. A trade might be necessary, and warranted in the long run. You don't like to enter the season with a 20-21 year old, but he's going to your catcher eventually. May has well trade Pierzynski at what might be is peak, and help the team in the process.

That's the biggest one recent years for me. Northwestern was so unbelievably awful, to turn things around and make the Rose Bowl was remarkable.

Hey I've said it before. But so what. That's my cousins name Loch Gates...... Not really Joseph Peter Louis Steven Duncan

ESPN2 needs to bring back the Fitness Beach shows in the morning.

The Jedi won. The Emperor died. What more is there to say?

Plus half the posts would consist of Johnson and someone else arguing about the Lakers.

What about Jeff Conine for the Marlins. David Wells is a big fat out of shape slob. That let his team down. God, I bet his team is pissed at him right know.

^That's the LT I thought you were talking about.

Because Torre has shown many times that he is excellant at what he does. He rarely makes mistakes like that. He made a mistake with Weaver. He should be criticized for it. Everyone knows Weaver sucks, and it was only a matter of time before he messed up.

Virginia Tech just showed they're frauds once again. They collapsed after losing to Pittsburgh, and it will be no different this year. Florida St. and Miami. Is what's making teams overlook West Virginia.

Stephen Jackson from Oregon St. would look nice a Bengals uniform next season. Big, Strong, and fast. Plus he's 8 years younger than Dillon.

Since I don't watch ESPN Sunday Countdown anymore, I would be curious if Uncle Tom Jackson would even mention this -- can somebody let me know if he acknowledges this on the next show? Personally, I can't stand the seeds in watermelon. I don't want to spend time spitting them out, although "watermelon" ice cream rules all (lemon/lime sherbet = outer part, raspberry sherbet = inner part and chocolate chips for seeds)... You can buy seedless watermelon yo. Seedless Watermelon. What bastard thinks he can play God?

Great job by Joe Torre tonight. Having your worst pitcher out there to decide the game. You had 3 other relievers who are better than Weaver. It's too bad Rivera was wasted for 2 innings in Game 3. The Yankees had a 6-1 lead going into the 9th. No need to waste him in the 9th, when you might need him in for 2 crucial innings in Game 4.

Mad Dog Vuchon Ernie Ladd Tom Zenk That really really fat guy from ECW

Those numbers aren't good enough for a Top 10 pick in the draft. Those numbers are better than most top 10 draft picks. Do we really want to compare the numbers of Sharone Wright, Acie Earl, Lindsey Hunter, Calbert Cheney, Lamond Murry, Eric Montross, Shawn Bradly,...I could do this for days. Literally. In Denver, he was hovering around the 15 point a game marker. In Dallas, 9. And lets not forget, the guy shoot 50+ percent from the field which will be a considerable step up from Walkers 38%. AND he can rebound and block shots. The Celtics do lose their floor leader and playmaker, and that will be HUGE. That is the main thing I see them having to try and overcome. So those players are worse. That doesn't mean LaFrentz has put up numbers worthy of a Top 5 pick in the draft.

A dynasty is a dynasty. No matter how who go about achieving it. The Yankees have done a little of everything. They've developed players in their own system. Signed free agents. Made trades, some for top talent like Clemens, others for marginial talent like Brosius.
