  1. Dan Quayle jokes. What is this 1988?
  2. I met Bob Martin.
  3. Freaks is one weird, and strange movie.
  4. What a complete load of b.s. Iran is giving safe passage, and no doubt working with many high ranking Al Qaeda officials. They know the U.S. gov't won't cave in so they pull this bullshit stunt.
  5. That would be the ads refering to James Byrd.
  6. Vikings
  7. Arizona 22 Carolina Miami Baltimore Tampa Bay N.Y. Giants Oakland Chicago-Lock Cincinnati Seattle Philadelphia San Francisco Dallas Minnesota New England
  8. It will work out in the end. That means more an undefeated major conferene team will win the Sugar Bowl. Remembering 2000. I had forgotten that Washington beat Miami and had 1 loss has well. So Miami wasn't has really shafted.
  9. What about Nowitzki? He's able to rebound and play inside near the level of Duncan, and Garnett. He's able play the perimeter near the level of Kobe, and McGrady.
  10. I'll put 50 down on Lebron kicking Davis's ass.
  11. Seeing the sons or even daughters of athletes, I remember playing at the relative peak of their careers. Darryle Strawberry and Patrick Ewing both have sons playing college hoops this year.
  12. Did you get him to say "You guessed it Frank Stallone"?
  13. I'm just picturing a Punk'd sketch on SNL. With Gary Busey, getting Punk'd and than beating the shit out of Ashton.
  14. FSU's schedule's been difficult enough to warrant being 3rd in the rankings.
  15. Alright if they want to talk about slavery. Don't leave out the African countries who where directly involved in selling off their people into slavery.
  16. He injured his shoulder after colliding with Marcus Giles at 2nd base.
  17. It would be an awful lot to post. See if you can find a copy of Ron Shandler's Baseball Forecaster, Vern. It's highly recommended for anyone in a competitive fantasdy league, btw. Shandler discusses the power tendencies of catchers in that book. I know I've seen it mentioned in the last two editions. That's cool. A link was all I was looking for.
  18. That depends, Al. Ron Shandler has tracked the catcher-power-spike-in-their-30s trend for a while now. It seems to happen more often in backups, but IIRC, didn't Lopez miss some time the past couple years? It might have been a contract year, but he might also be finding that second wind in his power stroke that a lot of catchers his age seem to experience. Tom. If you have those numbers. I'd like to see them. Because, everything i've seen says catchers numbers decline after they reach the age of like 30.
  19. They have a new stadium. So they'll make more money has a team next season.
  20. I'd take Prior over anyone. He's got great stuff, and his mechanics are awesome. Which will help in avoid serious arm problems in the future.
  21. Hell. Even Treavor Hoffman's option is too damn much.
  22. I'll agree about the playoffs. He looked good. It's a matter of showing that consistenty all season long. We'll have to wait and see, if that happens next season.
  23. I don't even like to call it a fluke season. He had like 3 seasons where he ranked behind Piazza in numbers for NL catchers. This was a "underachiever in their free agent year season"
  24. ^Really? Kerry Wood has yet to show the ability to truly become has good as he can be. He can be to wild, and needs to learn how to manage his pitch count better.
  25. It would be funny (not really) if the Cubs ended up signing Pudge. I think the Marlins will he'll end up back in Florida, but he'd be a nice fit in Chicago. Honestly, if I'm the Braves. I'm not quick to resign Lopez. The numbers where great last year, but where was he the last 3 or 4 seasons? You have to wonder if his numbers improved, because he was entering his free agent season.
