There are all kinds of crazy rumors about Big 10 expansion floating aroud. Texas is being thrown about as a potential target, but getting ND to join the Big 10 would be way more likely than Texas leaving the Big 12. Best case team to join is Missouri since they have natural rivalries with Illnois, Iowa, maybe even Indiana. As for a replacement team to the Big 12, Arkansas is the most logical fit with all their rivalries with the Texas schools, but I just don't see that happening. My bet is that they steal like a Colorado State or Houston type school if Missouri leaves, which is apparently not all that unlikely

The entire situation will be fucked up probably forever since we don't know why what happened actually happened. None of the people closest to him even know why he did what he did. When you factor in the fact that the guy has seen how many people that he was close to die young, which gets magnified when you think of what he did for a living and when he started wrestling, it paints a cloudy picture. I played the game at a buddy's house and hes talking about how hard the game is, so I check the settings and its on Varsity. I moved it up to All-American and beat Notre Dame by 60 with Michigan. I haven't had a chance to play on Heisman but I hope they actually stopped the cheapness of the AI and replaced it with better skill and playcalling

Portland really doesnt need to do shit other than move Randolph for a quality three. Even if they dont' move Randolph. You are looking at a top 7 of Oden/Durant, Jack, Roy, Rodriguez, Randolph, Aldridge, Webster, Miles, with decent veteran-ish players like Dickau and Pryzbilla. That is a playoff team next year, and likely a title contender provided the players continue to show development/Randoplh and Miles stay out of jail. If they draft Durant, they don't need to move anyone. If they take Oden, who I see as more of a Bill Russell-type starting the break with his defense, then they could bring Aldridge off the bench if need be, and start Webster at the three if he is ready. Either way, the future for the Blazers is very bright

This kid has basically had his life ruined because he got a blowjob from a 15 year old girl when he was 17, and taped it. It speaks as to how screwed up the legal system in this country is when a person who had an entire life in front of them, gets fucked to this magnitude, and the state still wants to keep him in jail until the appeal is heard. Does the DA realize how ignorant and shady this makes them look. Pretty much everyone involved wants this young man out of jail. His life has already been ruined, and while the taping/weed/alcohol wasn't exactly the smartest thing to be involved in, in his fairness, 17 year olds, even those who are outstanding student-athletes, make terrible decisions like this. These decisions however, should not warrant someone spending 10 years in jail ( 5 more years than he would have recieved had he simply had intercourse with the girl), and having the state government do everything in its power to keep him in jail. The state even passed a law that would prevent this type of thing from happening again, yet they, for the longest time, refused to overturn Wilson's conviction.

I won't be watching this shit. This is the worst possible matchup for the NBA Finals. The Spurs, while great, are boring, and the Cavs are probably the worst team in the Finals...ever... They have one amazing talent, and a bunch of scrubs. They just lucked out in that they drew a lazy Detroit team coached by Flip Saunders in the conference finals. This is reason #11 why letting Larry Brown talk to other teams, will be the ultimate downfall of the Pistons. Under him, they had fire and passion, under Flip they have a "we can turn it on whenever" aura about them that has pissed me off for the last two years. I hope the Cavs win since it will shut up all the idiots who think Lebron at 22 should be as good as Jordan at 30. There is a difference between a great defensive game where everyone is fighting through screens, denying the ball, and playing great team defense and a game like those hideous 2002 Pistons-Celtics playoff games. Like wise, there is a difference between how the Suns play basketball, with the ball movement and what have you, when compared with a team that puts up alot of points but has one or two guys just hoard the ball and jack up a shot. Anyone who actually knows anything about basketball can see the difference, and anyone who knows basketball should appreciate the way the Suns play offensively

Why do you hate a team that plays exciting basketball, in a manner that has been so effective, that its literally being copied all across the league. The trend in the NBA is to have 5-7 guys that can all run, shoot, pass and many times play multiple positions. If it weren't for the Pistons still being alive, I would be rooting for the Suns to win it all just because they play a style that is wonderful to watch for anyone who really knows basketball

True, but most people forget about the shootings in Austin since they took place so long ago. But this is scary as fuck, I don't live in the dorms anymore, but I could easily see this happening on my campus, which could be even worse considering the condensed nature of the campus. I mean imagine walking to class and all of a sudden someone just starts firing off shots. For whatever reason this happened, I can be sure that almost all of these dead people were probably innocent and this person was just some asshole who couldnt deal with breaking up with a girlfriend or failing an exam. The question I always wonder is why this type of stuff happens with more frequency in the States than anywhere else. It can't just be due to the Second Amendment, there is something deeper here that needs to be addressed because this situation will raise so many questions as to how to stop something like this from happening again, which you can't really do because its impossible to predict something like this

I'm gonna guess the C word is something referencing Columbine. The fact that this happened in a college is way more suprising because that makes it even more random. A college campus is a huge place and it doesn't make much sense that someone would go off and shoot people that he didn't know. Apparently information is coming out now that the shooter was looking for his girlfriend at the dorm where most of the shootings came place, and also that the RA was shot as well. It still hasn't been reported if the gunman was a student or what. But this whole thing is fucked up, it might be even more fucked up than Columbine because its even more random

Has Floyd fought anywhere near the competition that De La Hoya has faced... I mean De La Hoya may have lost to Trinidad and Hopkins as well as Mosley twice. All three of these guys are Hall of Fame Boxers, and you can argue that De La Hoya could have won 1-2 of those fights depending on who you talk to.....Who has Mayweather beaten... He can get embarasssed by De La Hoya because he's frankly the least credible best PFP fighter of the last 5 years or so.
