White Sox fans were cheering like they won it all when the Marlins won the pennant. I know I've had a good row or two with White Sox fans. But really, it just seems like a lot of Sox fans care more about beating the Cubs than the Twins. That's what I see.

You've been away from the area too long. Cubs-White Sox discussions are less than civil. And seeing as the Cubs are seemingly the only road team that draws at Comiskey, they've gotta count for something. I'd say the Cardinals and Astros are the primary rivals for the Cubs, with the White Sox #3. (I'd rather see the Brewers be our #2 rival and let the Astros go fuck themselves in fifth place, but such is life.) To hear some White Sox fans, you'd think the Cubs were the main rival above the Twins and other AL teams.

I enjoyed ATYCLB too, but HTDAAB is trying to recapture it too much, and I'm so fucking sick of Vertigo. So damn overplayed. SO DAMN OVERPLAYED. "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" was good, but a lot of it was just uncompelling and same-y.

Where are you from. Just curious. I know you're a Yankees fan, but are you from greater New York or a similar two-team town? It's harder than you think to "just like both." At least with Cubs and White Sox.
