  1. At Wizard World East, they said that they've been making plans for a new What-If series. Check out Spider-Man's Tangled Web if you like the What If ish style stories.
  2. I totally agree with you. The only reason MJ was able to beat off Stock and Malone was because he was surrounded by better losers than they were. They got the worst of the worst.
  3. DC started out in the late thirties, and was the first to publish super-hero comics: SUPERMAN in ACTION COMICS, THE BAT-MAN in DETECTIVE COMICS, and THE SANDMAN in ADVENTURE COMICS. But they weren't the only ones taking a shot at the Super Hero game. Captain Marvel, Plastic Man, Blue Beetle, Captain Atom, and quite a few others started out as characters from other companies, that were bought up by DC when the comics industry was getting lean. When these chaarcters were bought, to preserve continuity, they were just kept in their own little world. Also, comics writers came up with the concept of Earth 2 and other Earths to do "What If?" type stories, and someone decided that the DC Universe needed to be streamlined. Hence, CRISIS. Earth 2 was the home to the Justice Society of America and all the Golden Age versions characters like the Alan Scott Green Lantern. Their continuity problems were caused by continually having characters going back and forth.
  4. I'd like an assessment as well.
  5. This is a great list and I can't way to see it's conclusion. I do see a ridiculous amount of Black Sabbath love.
  6. Actually, that's called Misfits 25 (its the ongoing anniversary tour lineup).
  7. Good luck to Brock. I wonder how well he'll do...
  8. Nothign says "Peace, love and togetherness" like my Saviour of Metal and yours, Devin Townsend belting out "Oh My Fucking God", "Rape Song", and "Far Beyond Metal." Still, I'd pay to see it. Not only for evy Devy, but to see all the kids looking around wondering who this balding mad genius is. I could just imagine seeing him screaming and being brutal to a totally unaware crowd being led to Devy's powerful words like a moth to a flame. Oh yeah, he'd convert hundreds of thousands of the kids over to the darkside, and metal would rule all once again with an iron fist. All thanks to Hevy Devy. I think I should redo myschedule to have SYL start promptly at 10am. It would be amazing to hear Devy screaming "wakeup you dirty motherfuckers!" and start belting out "Detox".
  9. Maybe he'll be Eugene's new mentor.

  11. I would love an assesment.
  12. This is still a REALLY good list. The only thing I complain about is the two Dimmu albums being included. I'm waiting to see the top 100.
  13. You also have to be careful because if you are not a student you'll propably get kicked off your parents' health insurance policy and thats $400 a month. If your not sure, go to a community/junior college. If you find a job that you are gaga about that is local, try your fist semester as a part time student.
  14. I'd just do one stage for everyone. Here's my line up where each band gets 90 mins. 15. Kraven is pretty freaking deep as well. Born to a former aristocratic family he escaped the USSR to become one of the best big game hunters in the world. Eventually he became so consumed with proving to the world that he was THE greatest that he set his sites on Spider-Man. Read Kraven's Last Hunt...it is amazing. Basically Kraven finally beats Spidey, buries him allive and than takes the identity of Spidey to prove that he was/is better and is able to stop the one villain Spidey couldn't (up to that time) Vermin. Spidey gets out of his tomb and takes out Kraven, and then goes on to capture Vermin all by himself. Kraven couldn't live knowing that Spidey was still better than him and killed himself. Kraven's son Vladimir later on went after Spidey, and died trying (great concept, but poor execution due to happening during the Clone Saga). His other bastard son Aloysha was also obsessed with hunting Spidey, but more so because he felt it would be a way to connect to his father. He succeeded in hunting Spidey as well, but decided to let him go because killing him would be something that his father wanted. Green Goblin is also an amazing villailn, as well.
  16. I think part of that goes more along the lines of the "with great power..." mantra of Spidey. He is just as powerful as them and could be using his abilities to further his own interests.
  17. I do have to say that your criticism is more entertaining.
  18. Some very nice choices that I wouldn't have thought of. I was suprised to see that you didn't have Kiss on the line up! I'll do mine later.
  19. I would also like to find out what I am imagined to look like.
  20. Also it's more natural for the evil guys to want revenge. The good guys just want to avenge. Return was also better suited for VI, as Vader thought Luke was dead/left him for dead.
  21. Jermaine has the face of a three year old.
  22. BBB saved a kid or two from a fire, and wound up getting really badly burnt (3rd degree). If it wasn't for him, they would have died.
  23. I also like that no matter how bad his villains are, there is always something worse causing problems in his personal life.
  24. I did a quick google search and only the WCW hotline comes up.
  25. Not bad...good mix of stuff. Here are my reccommendations: 395. "Motörhead" by Motörhead 394. "Rock and Roll Over" by Kiss 393. "Wildhoney" by Tiamat (AMAZING.) 391. "II" by Queen 390. "The Fragile" by Nine Inch Nails 384. "Sentenced" by Down 380. "Love Gun" by Kiss 372. "News of the World" by Queen 367. "My Arms, Your Hearse" by Opeth 364. "Toxicity" by System of a Down (should not have been this high) 362. "Destroy Erase Improve" by Meshuggah 358. "Revenge" by Kiss (actually the best non-makeup Kiss album) 353. "Pretty Hate Machine" by Nine Inch Nails 351. "Turn Loose the Swans" by My Dying Bride 348. "Iron Fist" by Motörhead 323. "Sheer Heart Attack" by Queen 320. "The Gallery" by Dark Tranquility 311. "Orgasmatron" by Motörhead 305. "Colony" by In Flames
