HHH is going to get overcocky now and Eugene will pull the upset.
-
The Flair Strut!!! Amazing.
-
With Eugene's moveset, he would have been huge in the 80s.
-
What you didn't see? He had a segment with Bischoff, lol. You know Benoit doesn't really have matches, unless it's advertised teh week before. Benoit is too good for Raw.
-
It would be funny to see Eugene to the Taker no-sell and sit up.
-
I'm just a mark for good guards.
-
Hector Garza looks much physically bigger than I remember him in WCW.
-
I would have never believed Eugene would be this over with a live crowd. Dinsmore, and even Regal, deserve a raise.

CWF Weekly TV: Week 2 0f 4 before Beach Blast PPV live from Boise, Idaho your hosts are Joey Styles and Bobby Heenan BACKSTAGE PROMO: Evolution is in the parking garage as Vince McMahon's limo comes in. Vince gets out and HHH comments about what happened to Stephanie. Vince tells him that when people do extreme things like that, they have to deal with extreme consequences. He also tells them that tonight's main event will be HHH vs. Raven in a lumberjack match. OPENING CREDITS DAVEY BOY SMITH AND WILLIAM REGAL VS. THE ACOLYTES THE MATCH: This match was based on what happened last week. Very stiff from everyone. Regal and Smith are working very well together, as this is presumably their first time working together. All four men get in the ring; Regal and Bradshaw are your legal men. Regal dropkicks Faarooq out of the ring while Bradwhaw gets the big powerslam. Regal locks on the Regalstretch for the win. ** WINNERS: SMITH AND REGAL ----COMMERCIAL BREAK---- EARLIER TODAY: The nWo is backstage and complaining that HBK is missing again. Hall says that he's going to take out Stevie Richards. STEVIE RICHARDS VS. SCOTT HALL THE MATCH: Stevie pretty much outsmarts Hall. He explains that everyone knows that the two of them have fought in every corner of the world and have each other's respect. This summer, they are going to be put to the test in a summer series of 7 matches. The first match will be at Beach Blast. But to make it interesting, Eddie will still hve to defend his title against others and Benoit will be put through the ringer. Both men say that they are up to the challenge and stair down each other. -----COMMERCIAL BREAK----- THE WORLD'S GREATEST TAG TEAM VS. THE DUDLEY BOYS THE MATCH: TWGTT comes to the ring dressed up like Hulk Hogan, theme and all. Styles explains that Hogan has suffered a leg injury thanks to the pinpoint precision of TWGTT's attacks. THE WINNERS: TWGTT -----COMMERCIAL BREAK----- IN RING PROMO: Vince McMahon is in the ring and he calls out Booker T, with Goldust following, and then the World Champion Chris Jericho. He tells them that this is going to be quick...Jericho did wind up beating Booker, although not in a definite fashion. So in order for Booker to get a World Title shot, he'll have to put something up on the line...the Tag Team titles. Booker agrees and Jericho accepts. Vince explains that if either Booker or Goldust are pinned, Jericho and his partner win the titles. But in order to win the World Championship, Jericho has to be pinned. BACKSTAGE: Rhyno is walking to the ring entrance. Cyrus stops him and asks him about his thoughts in his title defense against the Big Show. THE BIG SHOW THE MATCH: It's announced that Rhyno will defend his US championship against Owen Hart at the last tv show before Beach Blast. The winner will than defend the title against both Bret Hart and Kurt Angle in a triple threat match. Big Show starts clobbering Rhyno, but Rhyno strikes back and hits a huge spinebuster. More brawling ensues, and Big Show throws Rhyno off the ropes and gets ready for the big boot, but Rhyno bounces off the rope with a massive GORE~!!!!!. **1/2 WINNER: RHYNO BACKSTAGE: Vince McMahon runs into Mikey Whipwreck and wishes him luck in the Cruiserweight 4-Way tonight, and he asks him if he's seen Tommy Dreamer. WINNER: GOLDBERG Brock Lesnar comes on the video wall and calls out Goldberg for next week, Goldberg accepts the challenge. Joey Styles: Goldberg has been unstoppable in the last year, only losing in the ME at Wrestlemania, and to Sting and Steve Austin. Bobby Heenan: Brock's been a monster since joining Evolution...it's gonna be great! ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----- BACKSTAGE: Tommy, Raven, and Matt Hardy are sitting down, and Vince McMahon comes in. The three look a little defensive. Vince: "I'm going to make this quick and simple. You know what you did last week to my daughter...my own flesh and blood? [smiles evily] That's something I wish I could have gotten away with many times over the year. Consider this a thank you of sorts. At Beach Blast, it will be Evolution vs. the three of you in a hardcore six man tag match. Good luck, and thanks again." IN THE RING: Sting comes down to the ring to a mixed reaction. Sting says that going for a DQ victory may be an easy way out, but as World Champion you do whatever it takes to be the winner. He then goes and blames Randy Savage, saying that he had no right to interfere in the Main Event at Canadian Stampede, and he holds him responsible for what happened. Sting looks vey angry now. ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----- DEAN MALENKO VS. JEFF HARDY THE MATCH: We finally get to see the match that has been building since Wrestlemania. The bell rings and there's a lock up, takedown by Malenko. Malenko pulls out a pair of knuckles and starts wailing on Jeff. The ref rings the bell for DQ. WINNER BY DQ: JEFF HARDY Malenko gets on the mic and says that he only wrestles on his own terms...they will meet up for real at Beach Blast. -----COMMERCIAL BREAK---------- FOUR WAY MATCH FOR THE #1 CONTENDERSHIP OF THE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE: SPIKE DUDLEY VS. MIKEY WHIPWRECK VS. REY MYSTERIO VS. RICO THE MATCH: Very cool, mostly a series of spots with no transitions. Rick kicks Rey out of the ring and follows him outside. Mikey sets up Spike for the Frankenmikey, but Spike blocks it. It looks like Spike is setting for a Victory Roll off the top rope, but in midflight, Mikey reverses it into a super Whippersnapper and gets the pin. *** for the craziness involved. THE WINNER: MIKEY WHIPWRECK ----COMMERCIAL BREAK------------ LUMBER JACK MATCH: RAVEN VS. HHH THE MATCH: Matt and Tommy and Flair and Randy are the respective lumberjacks. Match is pretty well matched, but eventually turns into full brawl. Team Flock gets the advantage, but Brock runs down for the save. Evolution gloats and heads back towards the entrance, but Brock gets speared by Goldberg! ----FADE TO BLACK---- That's this week's show...feedback appreciated

Houston will be in the same position they were this season. I think Orlando got the better of the deal with Mobley and Francis. Who do you think will be Houston's PG?
-
Yes and I also heard that in an even more ironic twist. Kobe, Payton, Malone and Fisher will sign with the Clippers as well. So basically the starting five for the two LA teams is going to switch?
-
Then they'd have to change all those rap lyrics that he's mentioned in.
-
That's amazing. On my toy shelf, my JLA is made of Demon, Zatanna, Green Arrow, Aquaman, and Orion.

Welcome aboard Platinum Boy. That's a nice first post. Thanks! I had a whole class in high school where for a week we had a sub and the whole class got into the whole DBZ vs Marvel thing. I supported Marvel because of my reasoning there and won some people to my side. I still would love to see Ghost Rider vs Buu, or Vegeta, or Nappa, or Freeza, if he could get his one big move in. Also, to add a little to my DBZ vs Marvel thing on DBZ people's speed--based on what I see in terms of reaction speed and agility, they are uber, but in pure flight they aren't that high up there. For example if I told SSJ Vegeta, Quasar, Superman, Silver Surfer, and Gotenks to fly from New York to LA and back, the DBZ people would get smoked. However, if I threw 500 quarters in the air and said--first one to catch all these wins, then the DBZ people would clean up. I think either Longshot or Taskmaster could beat them. Its kind of funny how our battle thread is now about who can pick up quarters the fastest

How did Kash injure himself?
-
Well, I can sleep safely now.

I'd say that movie licensing has saved marvel. There is actually a really good book about Marvel's finances under Perelman called Comic wars : how two tycoons battled over the Marvel Comics empire--and both lostby Dan Raviv. Very interesting and shows the business side of comics.

When I want something new, I'll order from Bestbuy.com or actually go to the store. I'm very price consciousness. I hit up the local stores for the more obscure and to buy used CDs.

from MSNBC.com... Carter-for-Iverson deal reportedly discussed 76ers would acquire swingman, draft Nelson to run point Matthew Craig / AP Although much of the NBA off-season talk has been dominated by the possible breakup of the Los Angeles Lakers, a big trade of superstars is reportedly in the works. The Philadelphia 76ers are in talks with the Toronto Raptors about swapping point guard Allen Iverson for forward Vince Carter, WIP-Radio in Philadelphia reported this weekend. The Raptors would gain toughness, while the 76ers would then use their first-round draft pick, No. 9 overall, to draft St. Joseph's guard Jameer Nelson to run their offense, the radio station reported. New Philadelphia coach Jim O'Brien said last month that he didn't consider Nelson a top-10 pick, but that was a calculated red herring, WIP reported. Iverson has signed a long-term extension with the 76ers, but he rankled team management when he clashed with interim coach Chris Ford and sat out the end of the season with injuries. Carter, with the nickname "Air Canada," has drawn boos for not always playing hard and appearing to not play through injuries. However, he did play 73 games last season. Iverson averaged 26.4 points per game last season. Carter scored 22.5 points per game, and Nelson, the NCAA player of the year, scored 19.4 points per game and led the Hawks to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. © 2004 NBC Sports.com -------------- I hope King isn't that stupid.

Tbondrage99s Fantasy Booking: The IWA
Steviekick replied to tbondrage99's topic in General Wrestling
Ah...i wasn't sure if they were in the same group or not. Blame my illiteracy on public schools. -
But isn't it that you can't own and play at the same time in the NBA?
-
It's just a strange, strange world we live in, Mike.
-
I know it smaller, but they are still getting themselves out there.

Spidey can also use his annoying banter to subdue Bats if he has to. Spidey's emotional baggage > Bat's emotional baggage
