This is how Elektra came back. DD thought she was still alive and using some sort of ninja breathing technique/self induced trance to appear dead; however, him being the blind freak that he is digs her up to find up that she's just a corpse. Anyway, remember that ninja group I mentioned before, the Hand? They are all into resurrection and stuff, and they attempted to ressurrect her/control her earthly body. DD and Black Widow found out, stopped them, and then DD goes nuts and tries to ressurrect her himself. He thought he failed, but it worked thanks to the fact that he did love her and her soul was purified. She left not to be heard for a while and returned to her assassin ways.

WOW. That is a really messed up list. Cobain is definitely not a great guitarist, and Garcia's jamability warrants him a place in the 60s.

Sorry for not seeing your sarcasm. I stay away from reading RS.

"I...can't deny....all the best....ultra-sex." "Miseria Cantare (The Beginning)" - AFI Actually, it's "I've been denied all the best ultra sex." I'm listening to MSI's side project the Left Rights right now...Very bizarre.

I think there was a storyline about Northstar having the hots for Iceman. There was an issue or two this summer that involved him trying to make Iceman as uncomfortable as possible.

I didn't know Brent won the dunk contest.

Same here. The Lakers have been painful to watch.

Rap: Why does it get such a bad "rap " around here
Steviekick replied to lomasmoney's topic in Music
I think that alone is probably what causes the rift between metal/rock and rap more then anything else. People who listen to metal/rock music generally tend to listen for the music involved in it. The guitars, the riffs, all that jazz. With rap, it's the exact opposite. The music is secondary to the lyrics. So obviously, you're going to have two very different fanbases. That's how I see it, anyway. That is a good analysis of the lyrics/music paradox between rap and rock. -

Dumbing down your lyrics is something that rappers admit about to make money. Jay Z even admits it in "Moment of Clarity" -

That was during the Peter David run on X-Factor, right? I didn't really like Larry Stroman's work. It was quirky, but often a little too quirky for me. David probably wrote the best Quicksilver ever though. One of the funniest things for me was the fact that the strong guy (Guido) was code-named... Strong Guy. Yeah, I'm pretty sure David wrote it.
