  1. Anyone ever seen Charlie Murphy do standup? I get the feeling he's mad niggerish, and therefore a riot, but I've never actually seen him perform, and he's going to be here next month. I'll probably go.

  3. That early Metallica showing up again... I also kinda like those two albums about the same. I may have went for Ride the Lightning solely based on "Fade to Black", my favorite Metallica song, though.
  4. I like Little Nicky, and I don't like any Sandler movies besides Madison and Gilmore. I really don't know where all the hate came from. For the record, my favorite comedies ever are Billy Madison and Kingpin, so that's pretty much where my head's at. I don't think that's the most flattering thing to say, but I've expressed enough intelligence in other areas that I'm ok with saying it.
  5. Would any of you be here without me? No. I'm a load-bearing poster.
  6. Not really. I mean, pretty much the only thing I'd ever use it for is changing my own name, and now that you can do that without being a mod... Since it's become clear that A) They ain't giving me my mod status back. and B) They're legitimately trying to improve the board, I can admit that I really shouldn't have been a mod. I would have just sat there and done absolutely nothing. What hurts is just that they actually made a conscious decision to say "Ok, Milky can't be a mod." Was I going to hurt anything? No. I wouldn't have done anything at all. If that's grounds for not being a mod, which from some of the discussions I've had, it is, then so be it. Why can't I just have it as a status, like I had at the Pit? It just shows that you respect me. I really think I'm one of the most important members of this forum. If it really was a DSM/satanistic/sex fetish/gangster rap/wrasslin'/whateverthafuck board, then I'd easily be the most qualified administrator, though.
  7. BTW, as for Mooney's statements that he would no longer use the N word, which I don't think he's rescinded, he did pretty well with that, although he did say it once, referring to UPN as the "you pick a nigger" network.
  8. Interesting... I was talking to a close friend of mine tonight, and we got onto the subject of 80s comedies. We started quoting lines from a bunch of movies, and midway through I realized that one of the reasons we're such good friends is that almost no one else I know would have the slightest clue what I was talking about. I mean, who sits around and reminisces about Hot to Trot, Summer Rental, Short Time and The Great Outdoors? I realized that a good deal of my friends have no idea about any of that. There was a very small window, both in time and in personality, to enjoy that type of thing. It made me sort of wistful.
  9. I would like some milk from the milkman's wife's tits.
  10. Fred Phelps is actually amazingly charismatic. We're lucky his shit is so far out there, because the man is magnetic. There's a documentary about him called Hatemonger I think, and the guy doing the documentary ended up joining the church. That's some Harley Quinn shit.
  11. Yup. Lots of political stuff, lots of ripped from the headlines stuff. One thing I found funny was in the middle of his bits, he'd occasionally just tell some old chestnut like the one about the kid who puts chocolate on his face, gets beaten and says "I've been black for five minutes and I already hate you white motherfuckers."
  12. It's way better than Sgt. Pepper's, for one, and at least as influential.
  13. This actually made me laugh. Funnily enough, Disorder In the Court is one of my favorites, even though it's overexposed. The part where Larry grabs the gun from Moe's nose and starts howling like Tarzan is a good example of why Larry is my favorite. I've heard said that Larry was a quiet sort of guy, but would once in a while come up with something so batshit insane that it was somehow brilliant. He would blow all his money at the track, too. Curly liked booze and women. Moe would actually take part of their pay and save and invest it for them so they've be provided for later in life. So yeah, he was the glue of the group, off screen as well as on.
  14. I saw Paul Mooney tonight. Nigga's legendary.
  15. Curtis Mayfield - Superfly Fucking amazing from start to finish. Really interesting as a soundtrack, as it compliments the film perfectly, yet at the same time stands completely on it's own as an album. The title track, "Freddie's Dead" and my personal favorite "Pusherman" are total classics. Snoop Dogg called this album the black Sgt. Pepper's, and while I appreciate what he meant, I consider it almost an insult. Given the choice, I'd take the reissue with the instrumental of "Freddie's Dead", but it doesn't matter either way. I'm still sold.
  16. Ironically, I've only spoken to him on AIM when I was so drunk that I didn't remember anything he said. I should get on aim more.
  17. Yeah, but when I drink I still drink a lot. It would help, but not as much.
  18. There's good record stores here, I can find pretty much anything used. I don't download much... I'm not sure what it is, but I have this thing where I enjoy owning something and having the packaging. It's why I'll buy porn I could download for free too, at least partially. My friends and I will trade burns a lot, though. Once in a while I'll physically steal cds from the store.
  19. I was considering quitting drinking, not because it's causing problems (I've been comfortable with my drinking habits since my drunk driving arrest), but to slim down a little. Then a pizza place opened up that delivers beer to your house. That's a sign. They deliver milk and wine too. It's awesome.
  20. Slander is spoken. In print it's libel.
  21. As far as picking individuals from a group, it's obv Lemmy from Motorhead, but I really can't pick a favorite from GnR and the Crue. I love them all. It's actually a trick I use to pick up chicks: find out which member of Motley Crue to act like (it's never Mick Mars). Pretty much every girl will fall for one of them.
  22. I really can't convey how much of a Stooges fan I am. I love them. They're one of three things I have loved for my entire life (the other two are Spider-man and Godzilla). I can tell you all kind of trivia about their personal lives, I can quote entire shorts, I'm hardcore. Fun facts: My favorite stooge is Larry. I've met one other person in my life who's agreed. I enjoy the Shemp and Curly eras equally. My favorite short is Uncivil Warriors. I've considered a Three Stooges tattoo (still might get it). It would actually be a leg sleeve consisting of the Stooges, Spider-man and Godzilla.
  23. I go to every Will Ferrell movie (except, you know, Bewitched and Kicking and Screaming) and I like them. It's not in the realm of music and porn that I like schlock and trash. No, he's not a comedy genius or anything, but sometimes it's good to laugh at stupid shit. However, I do find most of the people who like him to be stupid. And he is best in supporting roles.
  24. Sperm gets sloppy intoxicated at age 15, so that could qualify as a drunk.
