  1. Wow, Edwin...we finally agreed on something. I can't listen to any of their albums but the s/t all the way through.
  2. It's funny you mention songs at the beginning and end of Kill 'Em All, because I can listen to every song on that album and not get bored. Fuck, for about 3 years, "Motörbreath" was my favorite song PERIOD.
  3. I hope Die Hard 4.0 is anywhere near as good as With A Vengeance. It's been a while, so it most likely will be, and I think the John McClaine character is human enough where the 10-year difference between films could definitely shape it a certain way.
  4. I think "Bullet To Tha Head" and "Freedom" would also prolly be on there. In fact, "Freedom" would DEFINITELY be on there. Probably "Down Rodeo," too.
  5. Nah, I'd take Jason X over half of the series, actually. It's tongue-in-cheek, which is what I like about it.
  6. I'm of the minority that enjoyed The Network, mostly because I think Corino is awesome, Callis is Godly as a heel manager, and Rhino brought the in-ring goodness.
  7. There's no way they wouldn't put "Seek And Destroy" on there, dude. Maybe even "No Remorse," though "Seek And Destroy" is the only song from Kill 'Em All that they ALWAYS play live.
  8. I'm hoping TCM makes a strong standing all throughout, but maybe not to the finals.
  9. The Worm is the perfect name for the move, though. I mean...HE DOES THE WORM BEFORE THE CHOP! Hence why it's called "The Worm": he does the dance move known as "the worm" during it.
  10. They'd never be able to win a case where WWE wouldn't be able to refer to them or to Angle as an Olympic gold medalist, because he IS an Olympic gold medalist, and they're not slandering the Olympics. That would be like suing Time Magazine for talking about the President.
  11. Okay...how much y'all wanna bet that the finals will be something similar to Exorcist vs. Dawn of the Dead?
  12. No, Mike's just being his usual anti-ECW self. Mike, ECW always made sure to focus on the in-ring product. That was where EVERYTHING was built around, and that is, in my eyes, what Masked Man is trying to say: no matter what happens everything occurs in the ring.
  13. Funny how you start the thread before we all decided on the categories to go through it, since we kinda agreed to do it genre-by-genre until we had winners for each, and then put those up against each other. Oh well...we'll do that one later.
  14. My 10 nominations: Jaws Alien Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original) The Evil Dead Dawn of the Dead (original) Frankenstein (Boris Karloff) Nosferatu Psycho A Nightmare on Elm Street Night of the Living Dead (original)
  15. I doubt the Best of Daniels will be as good as the Best of AJ, if only because AJ's body of work in TNA has been that much better and more high-profile.
  16. And that's alright. This may sound a bit prickish, but the movie wasn't made for you. It was made for fans of 70's horror and exploitation films, which is what Rob Zombie loves.
  17. Let her run. And let me vote Republican in protest to a dumb bitch like Hilary Clinton running for the Democrats.
  18. Your ROCKS think he's an emo fag?!
  19. I usually just watch the end of Raw before UFC comes on, and haven't watched SmackDown since before WrestleMania.
  20. This band only counts because the closest thing they've had to a "Greatest Hits" album was a live album and rarities album. Stuck Mojo (1991-2001) 1. Not Promise Tomorrow 2. Monkey Behind the Wheel 3. Propaganda 4. Pizza Man 5. Fuckin-4-$ 6. Pigwalk 7. Twisted 8. Despise 9. Crooked Figurehead 10. Assassination of a Pop Star 11. Rising 12. Southern Pride 13. Reborn 14. My Will 15. Hotlanta 16. Babylon 17. Hate Breed 18. Set the Tone 19. Give War a Chance 20. Evilution 21. Stuck Mojo Funk
  21. It's more along the lines of the Sheriff knowing Baby was the weakest one (and compared to Otis and Spaulding, she was the most innocent of the three too; also a complete fucking psycho serial killer, but less brutal than they were), and him relishing in the fact that she had no chance. The Sheriff's dementia is what drove the little sympathy heat out of Baby, to use a wrestling term, that she had in her.
  22. Very novel idea, actually. Gets fan interaction in there, which is always good.
  23. That's a really good idea, actually. Have it be a 2-disc set. First disc is the show, with the special features being the Xplosion matches and any dark matches, as well as "looking back..." commentary by Tenay and West and maybe some of the wrestlers. Disc 2 is the angles leading up to the main show in a documentary fashion (meaning it's not like picking out the individual promo's and attacks of the angle, but rather watching them all flow together in one program). <--I'll elaborate. Obviously, Raven/Jarrett will be the BIG one profiled (namely because I can't think of what else happened on the show that was big, besides Lynn/Red defeating XXX for the Tag belts). So, you click on "Raven vs. Jeff Jarrett," and it shows one solid program of the promo's, clips of the matches, and the attacks leading up to Destiny. Or you click on "X-Division" and see all the highlights of the X-Division leading up to that night's X-Division title match (I forget what it was, but I think it involved Siaki, so maybe this shouldn't happen). Etc. etc.
  24. Get me Barry Blaustein. I'd like to see how he'd book a promotion.
  25. The gimmick had some really terrific potential to it. The whole "hey, I was born and raised in America, but ever since 9/11 people have been calling me a terrorist, and I'm sick of this racism" is actually a bloody brilliant idea. ...then they turned him into a generic "FUCK AMERICA!" heel. If they made him pro-America but anti-racism, hating the fans for being racist towards him, it would've worked. But they took the easy/low route, and now he's gonna be on TV anymore.
