  1. **MARKED THE FUCK OUT** Russo helped VERY LITTLE. When Jarrett went outside (long story, read the Lazarush tomorrow) and brought the guitar in, Russo bought AJ time by attempting to climb the cage, distracting Jarrett. Jarrett turned around, and AJ broke the guitar by kicking it. He rolled up Jarrett, and VOILA! NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
  2. The funny thing about this is that the match is HEAVILY clipped. Seriously. The match itself went about 15 minutes or so, right? The one on the DVD went barely 10 (more like 7).
  3. The Misfits - "We Are 138" Black Label Society - "We Live No More" Those two will do.
  4. Elevated ramps. Seriously. They added a level of importance to PPVs, IMO. Plus, spots on the ramp~! Introductions when both workers are already in the ring. TNA does this for big title matches, but that's it.
  5. ALL-TIME: Metallica Misfits Motörhead Iron Maiden Slayer CURRENT: Cradle Of Filth Shadows Fall Iron Maiden White/Rob Zombie Type O Negative
  6. New Orleans, Louisiana. "Swamp metal." The music is usually focused on bluesy riffs, somewhat similar to stoner rock in the sense that it's heavily based in blues, but a lot more clean than stoner rock, and usually not as fast. The only CoC album I have is BLiND, and only a handful of the tracks are really worth listening to. I think it was released between when they stopped being a straight-up metal band and started going the bluesy route. "Vote With A Bullet" is good shit, though.
  7. It's not so much that Kazarian doesn't work X-style, because I think he's pretty solid in the ring. It's the fact that he has NO charisma. He's good at using heel tactics, but that's about it. Nothing about his work, at least in TNA (haven't seen his PWG stuff, since I have NO MONEY for indies), says "hey, watch this guy." And I also don't think the problem is that Nashville doesn't like spotfests. It's that they don't like BAD spotfests. Red still gets pops, as do Sabin and Skipper, and even though I mark hard for Sabin (admit it, you do too), they're mostly spot workers. Sabin can incorporate a little bit of psychology, but the has enough charisma in the ring to carry him when he's on an "off" night (which has only been recently, mostly due to the fact that he was X-Division champion and TNA never booked him a fucking title defense). Skipper is best in tag matches, and Red, when he's 100%, is insane. He is the epitome of "spotmonkey," sure, but at least he can connect with his spots (unlike his cousins, who miss 4 out of every 5 spots). BTW: Lazarush will be up tomorrow, but this is because I need more booze for last week's show...well, mostly just the main event. [Krusty]UUUUGH...[/Krusty]
  8. That's not Eric Angle! It's new Pepsi Twist!
  9. Harris winning = bullshit. That's all I have to say. Also, the Lazarush will be up Sunday around 3 PM, as I plan on being trashed while writing it (no parents = booze = FUN LAZARUSH FOR SHOW WITH SHITTY BOOKING).
  10. Yes, viv. It's called "liking a quality movie." Sorry that you don't. Canada has the same region of DVDs that the US does, right? Because I might order both from amazon.ca if that's so.
  11. Ah, there's the English commentary. Storm/Jarrett up first...so I'm gonna go shave my head and skip this crap match. Hopefully Kazarian/Dutt is up next, so I don't miss anything.
  12. ...I'm only getting Spanish commentary. Anyone else?

  14. Cannibal Corpse in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (band playing when Ace goes to the club to see his hippie buddy) Molly Ringwald in Not Another Teen Movie is, by far, my favorite. Hilarious, bitches. HILARIOUS.
  15. 17, 18 on Memorial Day. Proud Masshole (Massachusetts: the state Rhode Island wishes it was still a part of).
  16. Medium length (used to be excessively long, and I LOVED it, but then gave myself a short mohawk for a while), shaved underneath (so the only hair is on the top). I call this the "headbanger" hair, as it allows for perfect headbanging (no hair going wild in the back or on the sides, just focused on the top). I've had this basic cut since 2000 (minus the mohawk).
  17. **doesn't love Phil Collins, you fagg0rtz**

  19. Yes, worse than the Jaws sequels. At least those had that "so bad they're funny" vibe to 'em. The sequels to The Crow? City Of Angels and Salvation? Fucking terrible.
  20. I'm going to make an announcement to all of you, and it may damn well make somebody's head explode. I, Corey M. Lazarus, actually like Limp Bizkit in that "so awful they're great" way.
  21. Wait...wait wait WAIT... How have you NOT seen these movies?! Watch them both RIGHT FUCKING NOW, mister!
  22. 2-3 butts a day, unless I have very few (then usually 1) or am out with fellow smoking friends (then usually 5).
  23. Any mention whatsoever of a CAW or CAW equivalent?
  24. Actually, I saw The Crow without the knowledge that it was the movie Lee died while filming. I knew he died filming a movie, but I didn't know it was The Crow. And I loved it anyways. It's not so much the fact that he returns to avenge his and his loved one's death, as the sequels can point out. It's the fact that the characters are well-crafted and well-portrayed in the film, and the entire "is he doing the right thing?" subplot had to be nixed because Lee died so he couldn't be in the sequels (in the comics, Draven does not return to the grave, but remains a wandering spirit because he wasn't brought back to avenge, but for a more deeper, almost sinister purpose...which is something the sequels and most of the other comics missed out on). The whole atmosphere of the movie was great, and Lee actually showed that he was not JUST a martial arts actor, but also a serious actor. Let's not forgot how cool T-Bird and Top Dollar were. Or even Tin Tin and Fun Boy. Each death had some purpose with the characters, which just made ME mark the fuck out. **SPOILERS** Tin Tin, the knife expert, was stabbed to death by Draven. Fun Boy, the morphine addict, was given an overdose by Draven. T-Bird, the lover of his hot rod and explosives, was strapped to his car which was then blown up. Skank, the lackey, was thrown out a five-story window, much like Draven was. Top Dollar? Tossed off the roof of a church and impaled on the horns of a gargoyle. **END SPOILERS** Personally, I just connected with the characters and the imagery. The movie made you feel for Draven, since he had to try to limit his relationships to continue with his "mission" of revenge.
  25. I'd rather actually play a guitar...
