Starting things off

I had a feeling about Xavier, but I thought it'd just be a first-round "scare." My one buddy's who's an X-grad is probably popping wood about now. -
Figures, you terrorist. I'll probably get it when it comes out on DVD.

Ice Cube to star in urban remake of Welcome Back, Kotter
kkktookmybabyaway replied to spman's topic in Television & Film
Not belting her to the moon, but rather something lame like "Baby, I promise you the moon." And the funny thing is Gleason didn't say all that often "One of these days Alice, POW, to the moon." It was usually just "Bang/Zoom" or just "One of these days, Alice." -
That was my guess (especially when other text-based PDF's were able to be converted), but I wasn't sure (I don't use Acrobat except to make PDF files). I asked him how he converted these documents into PDFs, and he said he didn't know (but of course he needs them NOW). Guess I'll be re-scanning tomorrow. Thank God I work two floors below the main floor.

For anyone that saw the Honeymooners movie, does Cedric promise his wife the moon, or something of the sort? -
I'm assuming that guy in your avatar (or someone else on that team) is going to be NL Rookie of the Year.

Below are my picks for the 2006 NCAA Tourney. My method? There was none. I don't follow college athletics. My only sources were a few conference tournament games I watched and sports talk radio that mostly bitched about how Shitt guard Carl Krauser is going to go 4-for-30 in the second round. ATLANTA BRACKET First Round Duke/Southern = Duke George Washington/N.C. Wilmington = George Washington Syracuse/Texas A&M = Syracuse LSU/Iona = LSU West Virginia/Southern Illinois = Southern Illinois Iowa/Northwestern State = Iowa California/N.C. I hope Ripper doesn't bring any open-lid drinks into a library anytime soon. Wait a second, Ripper don't read no books. What sums up my feelings on this remake was a clip of "Ed" and "Ralph" hanging on a fire escape, and "Ed" said something about how he's had "thoughts" of "Ralph's wife." (Can't remember if they used these names in the shitty remake.) Coming from a longtime fan and someone who has the Honeymooners series on DVD, that scene tells me all I need to know about how horrible this abortion of a remake is. And when are we going to have a whites-only remake of "Homeboys in Outer Space"? EDIT: Oh, Ripper, I just checked out that hippie throw-back-t's Web site; do you design those, or are they fenced? -
I know I picked that Milwaukee school to upset, but I had Seton Hall going another round or two. Bastards. EDIT: I have Boston College winning it all. Well, at least they beat Pacific.

So my idiot boss wants me to save these PDF files as editable Word files. I've done this in the past with no problem, but these ones, when I save them as a Word Document, aren't editable. These pages, which have nothing but text on them, are being saved like the group of text on a page is one big image. I've saved other PDF's on my hard drive as Word files, just to see if there's a problem with the way I'm doing the saving, and those worked. Any ideas why these new hippie PDF's are giving me an attitude?

Whatever happened between Flav and that big white chick from one of those Vh1 shows?

So that's what happened to little Joey.

Question to Current/Former Gold's Gym Members
kkktookmybabyaway replied to Dimensions's topic in General Chat
Back in '94 I enrolled at Bally's. I can't remember the fee amounts, but I was told after a few years I'd have $6 monthly dues for LIFE. Well, after several years I finally got around to having the $6 monthly dues for LIFE. The next month, the fee doubled. When I asked what happened to my $6 dues for LIFE, they said my rate was subject to change (in fine print, of course). The next week I closed my membership (was moving anyway and there wasn't a Bally's nearby). -
Well it's nice to know there were four other slackers besides me that waited until the last minute and couldn't get in. And I've already forgotten who I picked.

3/15: A Bigg's Problem With A Little Divider
kkktookmybabyaway commented on kkktookmybabyaway's blog entry in KK's Korner
Personally, I have no problem with people whipping out the Great Divider on me. Hey, I wouldn't want to pay for your groceries, either. I never really had the problem of people putting groceries behind mine because the better half always stands at the end of the conveyor belt (farthest away from the cashier) and I'm on the other side of the shopping cart unloading groceries onto the belt (next to the cashier). By the time we were done unloading items, the belt would be empty, so there was no need for the Great Divider to be used. Oh, and this is another reason for those personal shopper thingys -- when you bag your groceries in advance, the Great Divider can take a break. -
Well of course I'm going to watch it on "my tube." What do you think I am -- stupid?

I've heard bad things about Kia -- that's all I got.
-
Bummer. Whenever I was home sick or had a school holiday, I would always watch it, as well as the Price is Right.
-
Boo. I hadn't seen the Cruise episode yet. They had the 10 p.m. show be that Indy film episode.

Gotta watch out for those white women.

Woah, Hills trading cards. That brings back memories. And Andy Van Slyke was God in my area. I think part of it was due to his cool name.
