Like I have said before, pre-anti-Bush crusade, I enjoyed listening to Howard's politics/social commentary. He contradicted himself oodles of times, but it was still interesting and he did make a number of valid points. I now listen to this former top 40 DJ turned right-wing wacko in the mornings, so Howard won't be missed...

Because they're lazy and don't give two shits about their job. Like I said before, I'm not saying a burger flipper doesn't deserve $7/hour. Hell, when I flipped burgers I should have gotten paid $10/hour since I was doing the work of three people in many instances. I'm not a huge fan of the government setting a minimum wage for businesses to follow, but I can understand setting some sort of starting rate for entry-level employment. I'm sure MikeSC will call me a commie for that thinking, but oh well. However a business shouldn't be mandated to pay someone above that rate. Tough shit. Working the afternoon drive-thru wasn't meant to feed a family of four, unless that family is the one giving the order through the intercom. Then move, populate another state and give them more electoral clout...
