If you're in a union, that is pretty much the case. Unions always give heavily to Democrats. You CAN get it so your money doesn't do that (it is a federal law that they have to allow you to opt out of political spending of your money) --- but I have no clue HOW you do it. I'm my non-Internet life, I've had a few people I know go "OMG how can you say Kerry would spend more than George W. HITLER?" I point to that god-awful Medicare perscription drug reform. Yes, Bush just threw a water tower's worth of gasoline on this already out-of-control blaze, but the problem is Democrats would spend MORE. And if Kerry gets elected and opens up the pursestrings, Republicans will not be able to bitch due to the fact they are just as free-spending.
