For some reason, a couple times a year, you can't get The Celtics game on TV. Usually, it's like a Sunday afternoon game against a crappy team like The Hawks or The Wizards( Well the Wizards aren't crappy anymore). I always found that odd. Speaking of the Celtics, how many games do you guys think they're winning this year? I'm gonna say 35, 40 tops. Doc is good at bringing out the talent in young players but still I don't see the Celtics making it out of the first round of the playoffs IF they make it into the playoffs in the first place.

I was asking my wife, "Since when is he a Sox fan?" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I read an interview in ESPN magazine or something with him when Mr. 3000 came out and he said growing up, he was always a White Sox fan and he was mad that The Cubs got all the attention but that he doesn't hate The Cubs.

I saw Two For The Money last night. I was the only one who marked out for Ralph from the Joe Schmoe Show being in the movie, I also was happy to see Long Duk Dong is getting work. Overall it was a fun movie, worth the $7 I spent on it.

I didn't know he was born in the same state as me. Who knew? IIRC, he was the host of an HBO show that was sort of a predecessor to the Daily Show back in the 80s.

That is a weird ass video. They play it quite a bit on VH1 Classics. They're (Yello) pretty weird looking dudes to boot.

I had a dream last night, that CC Deville (The lead guitarist for Poison) was a first baseman for the Kansas City Royals and a bunch of sportwriters on TV were talking about how overpaid he was.

Shawn Michaels Vs Leif Cassidy for the WWF World title from an episode of Raw in the summer of 96 IIRC. Cassidy was a JTTS so I thought this match would be five minutes top but it ended up going 10-12 minutes and being a damn fine match.

I bought a barebones edition of Hell Comes To Frogtown for $2 at Reny's. You can't beat Roddy Piper battling mutant toad for $2.

I saw him a year ago and even though the crowd was suspiciously small (700 or so people in a 2000 seat theatre), Coop put a bunch of energy into the show. The set was a great mixture of classics and obscurities with a couple of semi new songs thrown in.

I just found out I'm gonna see G. Love and Special Sauce and Blackalicious do a double bill at the Orpheum in Boston two days after Thanksgiving. Should be a fun weekend (I'm going to see the Bruins and Celtics double bill the day before).

I got Celtics tickets for the game the day after Thanksgiving against the Bobcats, and a game in February against the Clippers. Ya know seein' how the Celtics will probably do this year, I should have probably bought tickets for the Spurs game or the Kings game or a Heat game, so I could have seen one good team. But I digress, I guess I just wanted to see a game where the Cs had a chance of winning.

I've got high hopes for the Devil Rays next year. For some reason, they're my 2nd favorite team. Maybe with a new owner and GM, they'll pick up some decent veteran pitchers and flirt with .500 next year........ But for some reason I doubt they will.

During a telethon for Hurricane Katrina, Mike Myers and Kanye West did a plee for money and Kanye West ended up saying "George Bush hates black people" and they did a quick cutaway and Mike Myers looked horrified after Kanye's remark.

For some reason, I thought The All American Rejects would be headlining arenas by now- don't ask me why. I mean it's not like they're washed up or just disappeared. But I thought they'd be a lot biggger than they are by now. I don't remember if I thought Eminem would be a one hit wonder but I definitely thought he'd be a flash in the pan. Remember Little T and One Track Mike? Possibly my least favorite one hit wonder ever and my least favorite novelty song. That song just got on my nerves as a 14 year old.

That sounds like a terrible party. Tell those people you aren't friends with them anymore. I'm going to see U2 tommorow in Boston! I am psyched like you wouldn't believe. I made give a short review in here on Tuesday.

So much for getting exciting clutch games on The MLB package. Today's games; Rockies Vs Mets Tigers Vs Twins Angels Vs Rangers *sigh* a whole night of garbage games. I guess it's just boxing for me tonight.

I've only met Tony Atlas and Tatanka in terms of wrestlers that wrestled for major organizations. Tony Atlas was a nice guy- almost too nice. I met him a Toys for Tots benefit at a used car dealership back in 2000 IIRC. I dropped off my toy and he gave me four tickets to an indy card featuring himself, Brutus Beefcake, a Doink, The Bushwhackers, Public Enemy, Kamala and The Headshrinkers. But my parents wouldn't let me go because it was a school night. Anyways, Tony was chatting our ears off for a good 5 minutes before we parted ways. I didn't know what the fuck he was saying except he started rapping about being on MTV True Life. Tatanka, I met shortly before his heel turn in 94 at an autograph signing at a video store. He looked tired and a bit bored. Oh I forgot Scotty 2 Hotty grew up like twenty minutes away from me, I met him three years ago at an autograph signing at a grocery store, he also looked bored and tired. I don't think he even said hi and he barely made eye contact with me.

Didn't see a thread so I'd figure I'd start it. Tonight on PPV, Roy Jones and Antonio Tarver are facing off in the rubber match of their 3 fight series. Meanwhile on Showtime, James Toney, in his first match since testing positive for steroids, goesagainst Dominick Guinn and Chris Byrd takes on trialhorse DaVaryl Williamson. What's everybody's predictions and thoughts on these big fights. This is the first time in my memory, that Showtime and HBO have put on major cards on the same night. Reminds me of when NWA used to put Clash of The Champions on free TV on WrestleMania night.

The weird thing about the female folk singer opening up for Weird Al is before a couple of her songs, she started telling stories about the jerk ex boyfriends she had. Those stories didn't resonate with the audience comprised almost entirely of ten year old boys and their parents.
