People losing weight eating McDonald's only?
King Kamala replied to Dangerous A's topic in Food Folder
Eh, I liked Morgan Spurlock's follow up to Super Size Me, the TV show, 30 Days much better and it was much more informative too. 30 Days does get a bit too preachy at times. Back on topic; I saw some woman that lost 90 pounds on the McDonald's diet on the Today show. She spent a lot of the time talking about how stupid Morgan Spurlock was. Almost all of the Super Size Me rebuttals to me have seemed like Southerners being like "God damn liberals can't stop me from eating my McDonalds!" -
That show pisses me the fuck off. Why is Mario Lopez getting another job that isn't a game show that's on six A.M. on Sunday mornings or a Saved By The Bell reunion or a Pacific Blue reunion? That man needs to only work in those three capacities.

Blossom: The E! True Hollywood Story
King Kamala replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
That show was terrible, it was so bland and generic. The only thing it had going for it was the strange popularity of Joey Lawrence. I remember the SNL skit where Mike Myers played Joey Lawrence and they did an episode of Blossom and afterwards the announcer was like "Stay tuned for the new Joey Lawrence music video!" It was just Joey Lawrence kind of dancing around with background dancers repeatedly saying "Whoa!' over some cheesy keyboard. -
I'm seeing the 40 Year Old Virgin today, I've been waiting for this for seriously a month (That's when I found out about Judd Apatow's involvement in the film).

I'm really not a fan of the Sex Pistols. I mean I can tolerate it but it's not like the be all and end all of punk music. Give me The Ramones over them anyday of the week (twice on Sundays.) I also don't like A Perfect Circle outside of one or two songs.
-
Yeah, I don't have the album but why is motherfucking KISS on that album? And this coming from a guy who one of his biggest guilty pleasures is KISS. The Ramones and punk rock were really going against what bands like KISS stood for.

The guy from Moscow on The Hudson is on the O'Reiley Factor tonight, criticizing Bush's policies on immigration. O'Reiley will surely blow a gasket and throw him off the set.
-
Mrs. Doubtfire will come out with a press conference saying that Bush has never gave a damn about women (or men?) voters.

Tommorow night, the Royals up against the As. Starting pitcher for the Royals, Jose Lima. Starting pitcher for the As, Rich Harden. Even with the As struggling, I still don't like the Royals chances. I predict they'll lose at least one more. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if they lost a game today, despite the fact they're not playing.

Yeah you're right Snuffy- Ozzfest already does kind have a fair share of nu-metal bands. But besides Metallica, there are no real hard rock or metal bands who can headline a festival at 30,000 seat summer sheds. If we want to go on the themes of old guys, how about AC/DC? I mean they're not neccessarily metal but most metal heads like AC/DC.

There are two wrestling shows on GoTuItOnDemand on Time Warner Digital cable, both run 40 minutes and are a combination of old WCCW, IWCCW, and some indy from 2000 called Ultimate Pro Wrestling (A different fed than the one that introduced John Cena). Some of the guys on them are the Samoan Swat Team, Steve Austin, Brutus Beefcake, Cactus Jack, Scott Putskil. Really not much to be seen but it's a fix for a wrestling junkie.

Fox News will crap their pants in anger when Jack calls Bush "a doo doo head."

I had a dream where Ozzy died and Metallica replaced him as headliner of Ozzfest. I think Metallica would probably be a good fit, just as long as they don't bring a bunch of shite nu-metal bands with them.

For comedy's sake, Let's Go Mariners! Bring that streak up to 19.

When do you think the DJ that Robin Williams character in Good Morning Vietnam was based on is going to come out against the war? I'm betting sometime in the next six weeks.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
King Kamala replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I highly highly highly doubt that WCW could have a comeback in 2000. However, I think they could have gotten a consistant audience who wants an alternative to the WWF instead of having their ratings crashing to NHLesque ratings. -
Hey Al....what is the longest losing streak in baseball history? 25?

Just thought I'd shill my fantasy booking work at another forum, check out the WCW 2000 threads on Graham's forum done by yours truly. http://www.historyofwwe.ipbfree.com/index.php?showforum=20 Feedback for any of them would be greatly, greatly appreciated. -
Interesting question I heard on a sports talk show (Can't remember which might have even been Cold Pizza or something of that ilk), will The Royals win another game? Obviously I think they will, but how long can this losing streak go on? Today, they have the series finale against Seattle in Seattle against Jamie Moyer. If I had to bet my money, I'd say they lose today and after that, it's a series against the As in Oakland, a series against The Red Sox at home and a series against the Yankees in New York. I bet they break their losing streak at home against Texas when they face them in early September. By then, their losing streak would be over 30 games. This Royals team is absolutely pitiful, on par perhaps with the '03 Tigers? I think the Royals might have a hard time winning six more games this season to beat The Tigers 43 wins. So how long do you guys think the Royals losing streak will last?

311 are really huge around here and have been since lik 1998, they sold out a 10,000 seat minor league ballpark here back when they were playing theaters everywhere else. I don't get it.....at all. They're one of those bands, that while I think they suck, they're just too bland for me to actively hate them (like Jet, Good Charlotte, etc). Like Plagirism said, they're just one of those bands that seems like a constant opening act. EDIT: Forgot to tell you about a weird story. I woke up at 3 AM in the middle of the night and on the radio, they were playing a Doors album track called When The Music's Over. That was one of the creepiest songs I've ever heard in the middle of the night. Damn that Jim Morrison.

Royal Rumble closely followed by War Games.

I just heard on Cold Pizza, that the D-Rays are 18-11 since the break. I think that with a few more veteran pitchers they could be a .500..........................which of course, will never happen.
