Well, since you reformatted, you lost everything, including drivers for monitor and modems in XP. If you needed to download drivers for the modem or your video card (if XP didn't autoload one), they are gone now. You will need to somehow get an XP Driver for your modem. Since you can't even get on the net, get the driver from like a friend's computer. Download it, and get it on a CD or something. Once you get the driver up, it will let you dial up to the net. Also, you will probably need to configure your connection to the internet. As for your monitor, same thing, get a driver for it, and install it...

Well, I have Nero Express, and I know you can burn MP3 cds, WMA CD's, Data, and Bootable Data Disks. What else can I do? Can I copy games and crap like that?

Well, I received a new CD burner today in the mail. I decided to install it. Well, of course, there is a remaining CD bay. I thought..."It should be easy, just pop out the cover facing the PC closing the CD bay, and boom, easy installation. BUT.....nope. I have NO CLUE on how to take out that cover. I tried taking it out by force, but I didn't want to risk breaking it. Inside of the empty CD bay, there are like 2 tabs in there. They look like they could slide out...but they didn't. What can I do? I have no clue what to do next! By the way, it's a Compaq Presario 5000 Series.

Well, I will make sure not to ever go to that site, because I would probably lose my patience trying to remove that...

Well, I will just redownload drivers for the sound, modem, etc again....an XP Pro version. Anything else I need....well....I have no 95/98 devices on the system...

Well, in a couple of days, I will be getting the burner I ordered to backup most of my data before reformatting within the XP Pro CD. Now, before I even begin installing it, what should I do? I remember with the Win2000 installation, I had to DL like new drivers for my sound, my printer, my modem, etc. Would I have to do that for installation of XP Pro, or will it auto detect everything, and load up drivers for all the devices?

Good thing I don't use ol' Kazaa anymore...

Yes, it is a virus. You actually have the same virus that I had. Rant remembers that thread I made. I scanned my system in safe mode, and that took out the virus. The virus you have prevents you from doing anything antiviral during regular system boot up. It closes all AV software, and even prevents you from editing the registry. Just make sure you have the latest definitions and scan in safe mode.

They should be doing that with their merchandise as well! In some 99 cent over here, I saw wrestling figures being sold. Now, I look at the package and I see "Wrestling Federation Heroes" On the package, I see a picture of Chris Benoit, but.......they edited his eyes to look crooked! On the back of it, you clearly see The Rock putting a sharpshooter on Benoit! Funniest rip off ever..

Yeah, I was wondering why like every damn week, a major leak from a WMXX storyline is revealed. I know if I was Vinnie Poo, I would have been EXTREMELY mad, much more than the article says. And, who in the WWE leaks the angles and why? Do they get payoffs from the sites that report them?

I need a banner done. If possible, ASAP. I need this person in the banner, a wrestler.. -He needs to be in the center. -The background for this banner is the one I have put below, pink flowers. -The color of the font needs to be pink, and the font needs to be like....feminine, since his gimmick is a gay wrestler. -On the bottom of his picture, but centered, put the word "Pinkifed" -On the left of his picture, put the word Pink, on the right side of his picture, put the word Army. If anyone can do this for me, I wish for it to be done ASAP, but I will understand if it will take long.

Well, for like the first time EVER at my house, we are having a HUGE New Year's Eve bash. Usually, it consists of just me and my family....waiting...waiting...then 12am hits....sleepy time.
