Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups
The Amazing Rando replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I'm also shocked at the lack of Brian Regan on this list. He is one of the funniest guys alive in stand up. -
PROMO - Road Trip (Part two of two)
The Amazing Rando replied to The Amazing Rando's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
No idea. But I couldn't think of a decent way to end it. i almost thought about having Alan scream "BUT I'M PREGNANT" and running off into the back of the bus. I think I would have called that one "Coy Crazy" -
Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups
The Amazing Rando replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I wanted Carlin at number 1... I like Pryor and everything...but Carlin is God. Kaufman should have been higher (20-25 at least). His entire life was like one big comedy routine, with stand-up being a main part of it. -
LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah TIME: 1:45 PM (Alan) I can’t believe you, man! (Coy) What? The air on the bus waves with a bit of tension between the two SWF superstars… (Alan) You ate twelve sandwiches! (Coy) They were good! (Alan) I know, but…but…TWELVE! (Coy) Hey, your mother asked if I wanted one… (Alan) Yeah…one! No wonder I don’t go back there often. She probably thinks I’m crazy bringing freeloaders into her house! (Coy) Freeloader?! (Alan) Yeah! That’s what you are if you eat twelve sandwiches! (Coy) I said ‘thank you’! (Alan) You’re still a freeloader. (Coy) Am not. (Alan) Am too. (Coy) Am not. (Alan) Am too. (Coy) Am not. (Alan) Am too. (Coy) Am not. (Alan) Am too. (Coy) ENOUGH! (Alan) FINE. The two men walk away from each other, but only for a moment before they freeze in mid-step. Slowly they turn and face each other, and with a burst of speed from each man… THEY ATTACK! Coy tackles Alan down onto the bus floor and begins throwing punches like a wild man, with Alan barely able to block any of them. The two men go into a roll, back and forth and forth and back, with each getting a little headway on the other before succumbing back down to the pressure and pain. Finally, Coy crawls up off the floor and looks at Alan as he stands up, both standing only feet from each other, their eyes burning into each other. (Coy) You know what must be done… The lights suddenly dim and Coy stretches his arm toward Clark and let’s out a large scream… (Coy) GET OVER HERE! Alan stumbles forward until he is only a step from Coy, who ducks down and fires off an uppercut. Even though the punch clearly misses by at least a foot, Alan still takes the blow, leaping backwards into the air before crashing down onto the floor and lying motionless there. Coy steps back into a simple stance as the lights go completely out… … They return to normal seconds later, and Coy and Alan stand together, both taking a bow. Loud cheers are heard from behind the camera, and it turns to see Mr. & Mrs. Clark, sitting on the bus’s couch, watching the action. (Alan) Thank you, thank you…and that is our production of “Twelve Sandwiches And A Fatality”…Good night and God bless… The lights go dark again and the scene fades out…leaving all those who watched the spectacle wondering exactly what the hell just happened.

i was only messing around, JD. it's just that every time he comes near ME and i have a belt...it seems to disappear. But every time i come around him and I do not have a belt, i seem to wind up with one. not saying it'll always be that way, but it's an odd relationship we have there.

The first episode of The Simpsons that you saw
The Amazing Rando replied to a topic in Television & Film
The first episode. Great moments in that and the first inklings of how the family will function for many years to come. Homer the dimwitted labor slave that would do anything for his family Bart the mischief maker Lisa, the caring Simpson child that loves her family Marge, the caring Simpson parent that loves her family and Maggie, the baby that doesn't talk, sucks on a pacifer, and falls down occasionally. -
Of course you do - you hate everyone. But maybe because they feel the same way as Homer did/does about her. I didn't mind the death either - it was an entertaining episode, but whether or not her death was intended as ludicrous, how the hell could apparel shot out of a t-shirt cannon possess the velocity to push you back so much so that you fall of the back of a set of bleachers? I fail to see how me hating everyone has anything to do with liking the episode. I want to know why everyone hates that episode. I don't hate the episode at all. The woman that did the voice was gone due to contract disputes, and even though they had hired a replacement to do a few lines here and there for her (and the other characters the woman did), they found that since she was a pretty big supporting character (being as she is one of the Simpsons' neighbors) they decided to do the soap opera-y thing and kill her off. Some saw the death as a last "f-u" to the voice actress, showing her that they were definitely never going to bring her back, and it also gave Ned's character a whole new emotional level of dealing with a really tragic loss. "The Simpsons" have put the axe to a few other characters, two "on screen" deaths (Bleeding Gums Murphy, Frank Grimes) and one "off screen" (Marvin Monroe). Maybe there are others, I can't remember any off the top of my head. They weren't as big of characters as Maude, but at least BGM left someone feeling tragedy (Lisa) while the others just kind of happened.

Remember when I did that... do you? Neither do I... *walks away ashamed* Oh...and awesome promo-age, Zach. -
He hasn't been there in two weeks and they've been fine. OR... they can say he was afraid of Big Show and high places. Any marks that read WWE.com might cry themselves to sleep tonight, but they'll get over it. He hasn't been needed in two weeks and I don't seem him being needed much in the future. It just means that Creative needs to find a new person to squash mid-card heels in 30 seconds

PROMO - Road Trip (Part One)
The Amazing Rando replied to The Amazing Rando's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Q: What happened to the Lee Jr. A: Coy flies now, and his family is down in Georgia (at least i'm pretty sure that's what Coyjiro told me a few days ago) Q: What storyline does this advance? A: None really, other than to show that Coy and Alan are friends. Not EVERY promo has to advance something. These (three) promos are more for fun and entertainment. I'm just trying to have a little fun with the characters and not be completely serious all the time. Remember, Clark can be a pretty fun loving guy when he wants to be. -
If we have learned anything from Square... all you should do is throw a phoenix down at it.
-
i need to learn how to do that... that whole story rules.

You know Kurt will be back next week with only a itty-bitty Yu-Gi-Oh bandaid on his head. "I fell off the roof on my hotel this morning, and i'm here, i'm jumping around, i'm fine!"
