How is it hypocritical? Those shows ARE quality entertainment. As mentioned in this thread, for every "quality" moment in wrestling, you have the Stinkface, Vince vs. God, the Hassan angel, Katie Vick, Vince making out w/ the divas, bra & panty matches, Lawler's "PUPPIES!" schtick, the Jim Ross proctology skit, the "Kiss My Ass" club skits, etc. The only way to change the media's attitude is to change Vince's attitude.

Actually, the game wouldn't have been official since they never got to the bottom of the 5th. Yes they did. Even Trachsel's additional stalling, on top of his sluggish pitching pace to begin with, wasn't enough to keep the bottom of the 5th from finishing. That was the bottom of the 4th. The Mets batted in the top of the 5th, then the rain came, then the game was called.

Also, nice subtle joke w/ Oscar not wanting to donate to the Boy Scouts.

Actually, the game wouldn't have been official since they never got to the bottom of the 5th. And my boss mentioned something about the Phillies having padding for the fence, but were just waiting for the Phillies to be on the road before installing it. D'oh! And if you missed the Rowand catch, there's a video up on the Phillies website.

I've seen the previews on HBO, and if it is any indication of the quality of the show, there's no way I'll watch. Seems too forced, and not really funny.
