  1. Ohio State wins by 3 over San Diego State Which game with a #1 ranked team will be closer, McNeese (#1 in I-AA) v. K-State or Oklahoma v. Alabama? Just one more note about McNeese State, they're probably better than some Division I-A teams. And other scores for the day Memphis 44, Ole Miss 34 Michigan 50, Houston 3 With 1:22 left in the first, Ball State 7, Mizzou 6 Central Michigan 40, New Hampshire 33 Washington State 19, Notre Dame 3
  2. So? When they schedule bad teams, they're bad When they schedule teams that turn out to be good, they're bad What kind of opposition do you want K-State to face? Give me list of teams Just a caution: Due to the desire to not fuck over the rest of KSU sports by traveling so much in football, it will be hard to find a team who could want to play one game in Manhattan or just a home-and-home. Money doesn't fucking grow on trees. KSU's first Big 12 opponent is Texas. and Auburn is OVERRATED. Come on, who's the crackhead who said the War Fucking Eagle would win the national title?
  3. I don't know.. USC.. Marshall.. *shrug*
  4. Marshall might get close to the total put up by California. We'll see.. but K-State had a good defense last year and they will have one this year
  5. Lee Corso says, "Not so fast my friend." Too bad this appears to be a weaker Marshall team than usual this season but a rout isn't a lock. The last time K-State lost a non-conference game at home: September 23th, 1989 41 wins in a row against non-conference opponents in Manhattan, Kansas The last time KSU lost any non-conference game was in 1992. Marshall gets stomped against most I-A powerhouses. KSU 55, Marshall 10
  6. KSU stomped Cal and Troy State by the scores of 42-28 and 41-5 and you don't see me dragging K-State v. McNeese State = Rout K-State v. UMass = Rout K-State v. Marshall = Rout K-State all the way
  7. Page 53 of the September 8th issue. Small snapshot of the Chairman with a blurb about 'Lucha Va Voom' which combines midgets, strippers and Luchadores. Good job La Parka!
  8. Ha Ha 20-13
  9. http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/...ards_nyr131.jpg I guess that sort of confirms my stance on Britney's sexuality
  10. I'm sure Bud Selig will "encourage" this situation. Watch out for Jim Wolf's crew. Jim is the brother of a player on the Phillies
  11. Would Pedro work out well as a Mariner?
  12. Elvis did it for their own good I still can't believe that son of a bitch left football after he left Kansas City to go off to Baltimore to "give them another title". Serves him right. Freaking jackass. Ya know, The Chiefs haven't had a halfway decent QB in awhile (Gannon is damned cool, Carl made the wrong decision to keep Elvis and let Rich go to the Raiders)
  13. Elvis Grbac turned down the Jets too
  14. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...ritain_batman_1 Police hunt for "Batman" Mon Aug 18, 1:41 PM ET LONDON (Reuters) - Police have launched a manhunt for Batman, after a man dressed as the superhero beat another man unconscious outside of a cafe over the weekend. "Police are hunting a man dressed as Batman who was involved in an assault in the early hours of Sunday morning," Thames Valley Police said in a statement on Monday. Police rushed to the scene after the assault and the unconscious victim was whisked to the hospital. But the masked offender had already made his escape. "The offender is thought to be white, but officers do not have any further description of him," the statement said.
  15. Wasn't Salisbury a former Houston Oiler? {I checked, and no he wasn't} // The Titans are choke-artists (fitting since they descended from the Houston Oilers)
  16. I loved it when ESPN Classic had the Pine Tar Game and Game 6 of the 1985 World Series on in the game day. "We go to game seven!" I'd say that Game 7 of the 85 series won't be played until they do the 'Complete asswhuppings day' MOTLEY.. FOR THE TITLE
  17. 31-97 now They lost by six, in 10 innings
  18. Curacao better not choke again 10-5 Japan in the 4th with 1 out after Curacao tied it up at 5
  19. Trammell isn't really that good at managing right now
  20. I don't know if anybody famous in Baseball was in the LLWS, but Mets pick Lastings Milledge did play in 1997. And no.. I will not mention his problems with 12 year old girls that sorta hampered the Mets enthusiasm -- and I did watch a game today between Japan and Mexico. Nothing much stood out, except for Endoh's pitching motion and Jose Santos, the kid who looks like Paul Pfeiffer from Wonder Years. (Jose wore glasses while up at the plate and got a double) Although.. this sentance on littleleague.org is.. odd Dougherty, Delaware’s version of the gregarious Jose Lima, tried to help himself out in the 4th when he sent a moon shot to right-center field. Gregarious? Jose Lima? Cody Bernard did unleash the power, three home runs in one game, then he got hit with the bases loaded to bring in the winning run. This kid has the most unfortunate name in the LLWS
  21. Misc trades: Womack to the Cubs (for Enmanuel Ramirez) Eric Young to the Giants (for Greg Bruso)
  22. Ditka's "Take me out to the ballgame" version was basically all yelling. How about this version of "Take me out to the ball game" (babelfished from English to Japanese to English) "Do to the game of sphere to keep accompanying me, crowd take. If if shame do not win, I a certain peanut am bought to that, if I do not return under any condition, the jack of the cracker, I do not worry, in order to become fixed because I become fixed for the foam/home team, the fact that it becomes fixed is not permitted. Because of that three assaults of one and 2 namely as for you there is a game of old sphere, is"
  23. Rams/Chiefs Superbowl!

  25. Which category does Don Denkinger fall under? Here's a clue for ya.. ROYALS 9TH: MOTLEY BATTED FOR SHERIDAN; WORRELL REPLACED DAYLEY (PITCHING); ORTA BATTED FOR MOTLEY; Orta singled to Clark (it was the 0-2 pitch); Balboni singled to Landrum (it was the 0-2 pitch) [Orta to second]; CONCEPCION RAN FOR BALBONI; Sundberg forced Orta (Worrell to Pendleton) [Concepcion to second]; MCRAE BATTED FOR BIANCALANA; Porter allowed a passed ball (it was the 2-0 pitch) [Concepcion to third, Sundberg to second]; McRae was walked intentionally; WATHAN RAN FOR MCRAE; IORG BATTED FOR QUISENBERRY; Iorg singled to Van Slyke (it was the 1-0 pitch) [Concepcion scored, Sundberg scored, Wathan to second]; 2 R, 3 H, 0 E, 2 LOB. Cardinals 1, Royals 2. Let's break this down #1- Orta is called safe. Sure, it's a bad call, but it was the first batter of the inning, with Balboni, Sundberg and Biancalana coming up, the Cardinals had a good shot. #2- Jack Clark screws up catch a simple foul popup from Balboni #3- Even with that, Orta is called out at third. That means that Orta doesn't play a part in the Royal victory #4- That passed ball didn't help #5- Neither did the intentional walk to get to the pitchers spot (Howser sent pinch hitter Dane Iorg up) Actually, I think 1985 was the last year without the DH in the World Series Never mind that the plate umpire Jim Quick had some questionable calls in Game 6 (Quick also ejected a trainer and ejected Mitch Williams in a 20 inning game in 1993). Plus, the umpiring with NL and AL crews was very inconsistant. Denkinger, of course, isn't that bad of an umpire, it's just that some whiners continue to lie for 18 straight years. Then again, maybe if the Cardinals didn't hit .185, they could have won.
