It doesn't always have to be gimmick matches though, Chris. The fact that Lockdown is being held at San Quentin is the reason for many of those. Plus, I tried to book the gimmicks to people that I thought would be able to deliver. You know Bruce will make something out of Hell in a Cellblock 40, same as for Toxxic's Prison Bitch Match and the Shackles match.

Hey, I would have been perfectly happy for W&D to be a "custom-made" tag team, but my partner insisted on suffering under some delusion that he was good enough to be Heavyweight Champion or something ( ), and kept wandering off to wrestle singles and/or disappearing for weeks at a time, so I kept getting stuck as a singles writer myself. And now he's retired and I'm not, and I am disinclined to break in another partner, so there's not much alternative. If I'd had my say, W&D would have came and went as a team, and never split at all, either the first or the second time. Sorry, WC. Thinking back that probably would have been better but for the most part the essentially were just that. A tag team. I really didn't care for making Johnny a heel but it was just so damned demanded by Toxxic. Now if I could only get that final Johnny Dangerous promo finished. As far as the show. Hot damned if I wasn't impressed. Makes me want to lace up the boots...err fire up the MS Word, actually.

Yes, the Blazenwig Vs Blazenwig match was a true showing of insanity...but good, fun insanity. I'm rather fond of the Doom: the Movie "First Person" segement wth Christain Fury. I've read most of the matches and I can say it was a damn fine effort all around. Props to all and have a Merry Christmas!
