I've met Barry Sanders before and even had to fix his computer!!
Dama, I think we could easily support an NFL team here. They could also find room for a stadium in Bricktown I'm sure. They'd have to do away with shitty team names like "Wranglers" though.
Well I just started a new dynasty with the Nevada Wolf Pack (2 start on prestige) and so far I'm doing okay but barely getting by. I defeated Auburn in a game that was the #1 best game of all time, beating them 22-21 after I trailed by 14 at the beginning of the fourth.
#6 Texas was up next. (I modified my schedule for these two teams.) beat them 21-7.
#1 Oklahoma was third and they beat me 45-35 after I threw about 3 interceptions to aid them on their victory.
I tell you what though; playing the Wolf Pack is hard as hell! I have to do everything I can on defense to stop them while when I played Oklahoma I usually let the computer handle the actuall defense after i selected the play.
UNLV is next. I turned it off after i realized that the game had 0 commentators, and it made it borring.
Wow, I haven't played this game in a while, but you guys are just now finishing one regular season? I've already finished 4 seasons with Oklahoma and gone undefeated for the entire time, with 4 national Championships to boot.
Maybe I'm cheating or something, but I always seem to get the recruits I create and I pump the hell out of their stats.
I just have one thing to say in regards to the OU Vs USC thoughts; Jan 4 will show whos better. Until them everything is nothing more than speculation.
Not to be a smartass, Lord Macphisto, but...
Doesn't that also apply to the transitive property of victories/performance, which really doesn't mean a lot in these big games as well?
I'll bet me and Dama will end up the only one's predicting OU for the win.
Edwin, what's your pick on the Sugar Bowl?
Considering the fact that OSU manhandled UCLA earlier this year and USC barely had a handle on them I'm going with a 10 point margin of victory for OU.
OU may have lost the title game last year, but they won as many games as USC played last year. That's what made the differance.
After watching Saturday's games go down, I really thought Auburn was more impressive than USC though. BTW, why is nobody bitching about an undefeated Utah getting left out of the national title game? I'm sure they would have liked that shot too.
Can Jason vote for himself? I mean, being a previous heisman winner he does get a vote, doesn't he?
Anyway, White/Peterson are both good picks, but I have to give mine to peterson after tonight, and that sick TD run you were talking about, Dama.
