He holds that designation until another Superstar scores a subsequent pinfall or submission on any other Superstar. The opening to Raw is incredible. That sure made that seem like a hell of a deal. I like how the Nitro opening segment shows Bischoff - back when he was a VP pretending to be an announcer - taking the powerbomb in an attempt to downplay the rumours that Vince was taking a stunner.

F4W/WO's site maintenance is finally over, so here's a tidbit from the daily update:

Monsoon cracked me up when he was running down Ric Flair's Survivor Series team ("All the Warlord is interested in is Dominos Pizza!") but his best line was saying Virgil is a good tag partner for Piper because "he knows how to take orders". I laughed.

I don't know how many people besides me and 10 Pounds watch the preview show, but it is a MUST WATCH for what happens 4 minutes in.

There are many things about Tony Schiavone that will always amuse me, and two of them are in the current Nitro episode: 1. The tape machines are rolling! (I will never, ever get tired of this). 2. Constantly calling Hugh Morrus "Humorous". I really liked Nitro. The Rey stuff was good, I enjoyed Hall's promo, the "night of upsets" theme of the show was nice, and Piper called the nWo the "NWA".

That sounds a lot different than Wade's take on it, which is what I expected. I guess the base of the story is the same, but the impression I got from the Torch story was she was basically for sure back in TNA. Thanks HTQ.

Heh..nice one! Actually, it's the best damn wrestling RPG you'll ever find. It took many years to develop. Give it a chance, and you'll be happy you did. It's not in the description anymore, but the VG folder used to be "VG and Toys" and I suppose if people wanted to go nuts talking about pen and paper RPG's or the latest edition of Monopoly, that would be the place to do it. Even though that descriptor is gone, it's probably still the most appropriate place for it.

They don't have enough matches that spill out into the streets. Even if a lot of the show doesn't stand up today, Al Snow and Bossman brawling their way to a local bar at SummerSlam 99 is still pretty cool.

Bah, that sucks. To say out loud to someone "I am paying $55 to see Unforgiven on PPV" makes it soud too expensive, and it's hard to justify paying for a standard definition feed when I know the HD one is there. Eh, what can you do.

At about 11pm (as I was getting ready to leave for work), Cogeco had the 4 Harley Race matches up so hopefully, like the recent problems (as opposed to the past problems where they just did nothing), this is just slow going and everything will be up by the end of Thursday.

Vince is a fucking douchebag. Holding a grudge with him and Savage to this extent is just wrong. I mean, granted, it's just a video game, but still...just cuz Foley didn't want to be yelled at every Tuesday night over a headset doesn't mean he should start excluding him from things. A note I excluded (because the end resolution was 'this is unlikely') was that there is a belief Foley going to TNA will disqualify him from the WWE HOF.
