Sure is a lot of Flair promos. No interest in Rumble 92 (I have i on VHS, DVD, plus the Rumble match on Flair's DVD) but a good Flair based show for anyone without it. Going by Cawthon's site, there is no September 1, 1991 Primetime (guessing a Tennis delay?) but 9/9/91 exists with Flair's debut.

Listening to the Wednesday Wrestling Observer radio show, it seemed Colin's days were numbered. I don't think Dave or Bryan KNEW exactly, but somewhere in there the line "Colin couldn't get over in the role everyone can get over in" was used to explain why he's booked like a bum.

That was quite the typo.

Celebrating his 24th year today is The Great Mazto. Huzzah!

It's Capcom promotional artwork, apparently for a t-shirt. It's an incredible throwback either way. I like that he has the hand pistol, like the MM2 box art.

If they're going to be hardcore enough to debate whether a movie no one but them has heard of counts towards a contest to see who can watch the most 2008 releases, they're hardcore enough to track down Canadian DVDs. I say it does not count. Festival circuits are a bit iffy. It's easy enough to order a product from Amazon.ca to be shipped to the US but it's an entirely different animal to trek to a festival. I'm also only taking the 2006 stance because it certainly sounds like the geekiness of the competition would require such a strict technicality. If someone said to me, "Hey DrVenkman! What was a really fun movie you saw in theatres in 2001?" and my answer of "Iron Monkey" was rejected because it was made in 1993, well, tough, 2001 was it's North American theatrical release. If I was in the business of making "Theatrical Films I Saw in XXXX", it would go in 2001.

My problem with Braid is the developers boycotted a game show / competition that pulled Super Columbine Massacre RPG. Seriously, free speech and that sort of thing is great, but there IS a line that was obviously crossed and no one should have felt compelled to defend such a ban. Also, the demo locked up on me within 30 seconds. All I did was enter a room and the screen went black forever.

AVGN's video made Return of the Joker seem damn near impossible.

Raw was pretty good this week (El Pantera!) but truly THIS was the highlight: I'm still laughing about it. If this wasn't edited out by TSN, I can't believe I forgot such a thing. Or maybe I can.

Dig all those typos on the program guide. It's getting pretty funny. Nitro: Curt 'Henning', Juventud 'Guerrero', Eddie Guerrero vs. 'Ultimate Drago' (Vladimir Kozlov?) for the 'Cruiserweigh' title. Raw: Steve Austin creates 'chaso'. SummerSlam 99: "Triple Threat match for WWE Championship pits Triple H vs Stone Cold Steve Austin" (I think someone's missing!) "plus 'moany' more". Next month's preview also reveals the 2008 HOF is airing next month.

I was missing Raw and TNT in the morning, but everything is there for me now.

Originally I thought Clone Wars was going to be a full length movie based on that TV series that looked like it was drawn exactly the same way a parody of it from Clerks: TAS would have been. Instead it looks like it takes place in the TMNT 2007 universe.

Not perfect, but I've noticed a dramatic improvement since I started watching the videos while having nothing else using the bandwith. That really seems like such an obvious solution but for whatever reason, anytime I was on 24/7 Online I had some torrents being downloaded.

Thought it could cross a fine line between what people could make comments about in the DVD thread in the WWE folder instead of here, they DO show a lot of WWE Home Video releases that could be included in here too.

I just look at my watch during a bright scene.

Playa gets his updates at 7pm eastern or something like that. I liked this show 9 years ago but it seems to age worse every time I see it.

During a silent scene in Pineapple Express, someone yelled out "HEY TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE". Since people who keep flipping up their damn phone to check the time / send a text message / assume they're NOT bothering anyone despite the big beam of light they're shining around to everyone around them are a huge peeve of mine, this man was my hero for the evening.

My Beth comment and Enigma's ECW comment should probably be moved too... and this deleted once it's done.
