I missed a lot of the episode watching Impact! and then taking my time switching over. The first thing I saw was Weekend Update and as soon as I saw Sanz I told myself that I can't wait for the BBSNLR.

Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story
DrVenkman PhD replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Television & Film
I found that Loonatics thing much funnier with everything bleeped. Anyway it sounds like the braodcast airing of the movie starts on Sunday so I'll check that out... Seth pointed out at quite a few points (ok... maybe like, two) during the commentary that they didn't think some of it would air (Ghandi is all I can think of at the top of my head). -
Apparently Chun-Li was born in "Marth". Ok then.

Gold. A bit long, but gold. My favourite Mega64 is still the Shenmue one, though.

Heat/Velocity status addressed by WWE.com

I believe a little over a minute, but not much more, was cut by commercial from the international broadcast of Regal/Benoit. I had assumed that on WWE.com they would cut away (as little sense as that makes for an internet show... but it's how they do most of the Jukebox matches) and was glad to see they didn't and persumably won't in the future. -
Well I ended up going with the PS2 one (which I think was my intent all along, anyway) and it was not a hard choice since the store I went to had no copies for the Xbox. I might as well assume I'll never unlock some of those SF extras as I can't see myself beating the game without ever losing a round. I like the set up... it's basically MAT2's but nicer with more gimmicks going on (art and such). Good fun. Also, what is Final Fight Streetwise? I looked into it briefly after seeing it listed as an upcoming game in the Final Fight history on CCC and I guess it's just a "serious looking" brawler with the Final Fight name?

Is there any notable difference between the Xbox and PS2 versions of Capcom Collection? I figure the Xbox one is good because it won't use up space on a memory card, but the PS2 version has the advantage that my PS2 is hooked up more often (due to it being the gaming area's default DVD player) and the controller I like better.

That clever London... using a standing SSP since he can't use one off the top rope. Good stuff on Velocity this week and I love watching it without a recap. Also good... I had downloaded Velocity's international version off PWtorrents and they cut to a commercial during Regal/Benoit. No such cut exists on WWE.com. -
I got quite the laugh out of Teddy Long being run over.

I gotta say I like the Web Shows webpage. It's pretty sleek looking. -
"The Big Show is now 506lbs and looking every bit of it" - from Monday's Observer (Unforgiven review).

Then maybe they shouldn't agree to work at meet and greet tables then? In the case I cited with Red, I know it's 100% optional for people to do the greeting session in BCW. If they don't want to, they don't have to. It's not like I'm holding it against him or anything, jsut something I observed.

The most uinterested person I've met was Amazing Red. I said "looking forward to the match tonight" and he just kinda said.. nothing and look blankly into space. The exact same comment to Chris Sabin, his opponent, was met with "oh, thanks man!" and such. Sean Waltman was surprisingly one the coolest people I've spoken to. I casually mentioned that I thought Kid/Razor vs Diesel/HBK was a great match and he was "I know which match you mean! From Action Zone!" and was really into it, it was fun. Jimmy Hart is also awesome. Chris Daniels and Jerry Lynn were real nice, too. Daniels was pretty funny ripping on a guy that saw a sign saying 8x10's were $10 and thought it was refering to t-shirts.

It is within the realm of possability that Pedro was referencing what was reported/rumoured about the DVD and thus what he assumes is on it, not something that he saw himself.

Unfortunatley we live a world where putting X-Men or Simpsons games on an old school comp game would cause quite the legal battle... I think. Correct me if I'm wrong but at this point Capcom couldn't even put a vs. X-Men/Marvel game out on a comp, right? Damn copyrights! Robbing us of having WrestleFest be re-released.

Foley was nice enough the times I met him... and that must have been tough because one guy in front of me was very annoying! Foley said hello or something and the guy responded with "IT DOESN'T MATTER..." or what have you. Foley let out a laugh that sounded rather forced and unamused.

I happened to come acorss a new GI Joe cartoon on Sunday. It was a sad day for the 80s.

Warrior absolutely shreds WWE in Byte This reponse

Actually the on-screen text saying "WrestleMania 2000 All Day" kinda gives awa ywhere that interview is from. -
One time, years ago, my friend was holding one of my SNES controllers and brushed some dust off the TV. HE got a static shock from the TV and the controller ended up acting all wonky (nothing would play right because the controller was always making things happen on screen, mostly scrolling on a list... basically the d-pad seemed messed up due to this smal static shock). I called a number for Nintendo's customer service that I got from a Nintendo Power magazine and explained the problem to them. Apparently they misunderstood that I was saying my friend got a static shock and thought he was eletrocuted and seriously hurt. I kept telling the guy on the phone he was fine but it messed up my controller. They sent me a free one!

That was my least favourite episode in some time, though I thought they did a good job in the 3rd act. Didn't they already make fun of Paul Reiser (which was funny this time too) and Sandy Duncan (unfunny this time) before? The Meg stuff was funny. After a sad few first episodes last May I'm really enjoying American Dad. I didn't see it last week but it's been my favourite Sunday show of late.

The idea with people who barely appeared on Raw being part of the former stars appearing on October 3rd is more in relation to them being on the USA Network in general. That's my take, anyway.
-
Your average 2 hour Raw has 4-5 matches with 2 (possibly 3) already being announced for this one. I doubt they'll run 8 matches at PPV length or anything so, even if Matt/Edge and HBK/Angle added up to 50 minutes, they still have lots of time. It's not like every legend in attendance gets his own angle for the show, either. But yes, I suspect other things would be rushed to accomedate everything.

"VOD-style" being the key term there, I believe. It's been reported in the Observer for awhile that they were probably going this route, with things like Keibler/Hemme, Keibler/Victoria, and Vito/RIchards being a test. Then they got forced into doing the first hour of SmackDown! on the net and that probably worked out ok for them. I would suspect/hope this is free while they continue to charge for the Jukebox matches. And yes, as I recall, all American versions of syndicated programming are done (I believe already, except for Experience which has it's last show on Sunday) so replacing those shows with Heat/Velocity is not an option. -
I just don't like the idea of two guys who each needed almost 30 minutes to beat the other in their previous bouts having a multi-fall contest in that same period of time. If it's still on (and I have no reason to assume it isn't), hopefully it's 2-1 or even a 1-1 draw (boo!), but they should just do a 2/3 falls match as has been suggested.
