I actually think their lists have gotten steadily worse, with the 70s incarnation being the worst and, among a combination of things, stopped me from taking their site seriously.

Oh yeah, is the movie any good? I heard it was bad, but it's on BOTH Siskel and Ebert's Top Ten Lists, which lends it some credibility in my eyes. You'd think that since they loved the music in a rock movie, it would be bad since they are film critics not music critics. But Prince has a pretty broad appeal, and if these guys thought the movie was that good, considering all the factors around it, it can't be bad.

Hey Edwin, I love Purple Rain, and I loved all the other Prince singles I've heard that weren't on Purple Rain. So recommend me some stuff that could pave the long road for some Prince fandom.

Oh no, I don't believe that either, but that's what they were being touted as, until they met the Pats. Ditto with the Colts. I'm just saying, that all the offenses that were supposed to be the best ever were shout down by the Pats. The fact that they did it on turf has to be taken into consideration too, since that leaves them at a huge disadvantage.

Barry Sanders isn't the best based on numbers, he's the best based on the fact that he did the most with the least. He had better moves and played better then either Emmitt or Walter, football is not a sport where one person can carry a team. I would say that Jim Brown is the best ever, but I would place Barry at Number Two for sure.

Emmitt also had a better line, not to mention much better support then Barry, in the great passing game they also had. A line with Stepnoski, Allen, etc. etc. INSANE.

It's just that the MW battle is so much more intriguing, what with all the qualified guys that are there. It could really be anyone from Leben to Quarry to Koscheck to Sanchez. That's four top guys, not to mention other big talents that are dark horses, like Karalexis or whatever his name is.
