Theme song for Vick? Well...my friend's and I have a running joke that DMX really has no idea where his dogs are at. And now, we are wondering if he knows Michael Vick had 'em. So now, whenever we hear DMX, we yell out, "RUN MICHAEL RUN!"

Spiderman 3: 300 million---Not getting as much buzz, and, it's coming out next week and no one I know has said "Hey...wanna go see Spidey?" Not a very good film, but, so far is the summer champ..should end up in the $335-$340 range. 4. I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry: 150 million. Eh, I could take it or leave it. But, freakin' Click made $135 million, so, this should be slightly more. JURY STILL OUT 10. Fantastic Four 2: 125 million---Eh, it's a comic book movie...and it will be better than... Wow...$125 after one month out...should eek another $5 million or so... 11. Transformers: 115 million---Will suck. Will bomb. However, it will not affect Shia Labeoufs popularity. Okay...I hated this movie..but...whatever...I WAS WAY ,WAY OFF...Looks like it should end up in the $250-$300 range... 12. Rush Hour 3: 110 million---It's been too long. JURY STILL OUT 13. Knocked Up: 100 million---Again, safe comedy. I am really happy to see this do so well....it should end things in the $150-$175 range... 14. Ocean's 13: 100 million--On star power alone. Ya know...I don't post all that much...mostly because...well...I have a fragile ego...hehe... Anyway...I posted this in a private forum that my Under even the Underground Wrestling Group runs (Seattle Semi-Pro Wrestling)... The Seattle Times reference in the post is for an article coming out 07/01/07 on our little "crew" of ruffians... I don't know if it's right to post it here...but...what the hell...worse things have happened (obviously): My Status As A Wrestling Fan EVIL KIMMEL I have had a few days to think over all of the events of the last few days. Running the gamut of emotion from shock, to sad, to angry, to just dealing with the situation. First off, when none of the details were revealed, I was asked why I care about some celebrity I have never actually met. I will use something I wrote after the death of Dale Earnhardt to explain my thoughts on this: "we mourn because we have to...because we will never see things the same again...we mourn as a thank you to the fallen...be it a tear, a raise of a glass, or a silent prayer...we mourn to say goodbye....if we had personal contact with the person or not is not the issue...because that person gave us moments...glimpses of how we wanted to be better...we mourn because we have lost before...and we can identify with the fallen's family...because we have been there...and it is always comforting to see that the fallen affected so many lives...it makes the deceased's life all that more glorious.... sometimes people become famous and speak to someone in a way that only they understand...the same way that when a family member may speak to you about all things...in ways only you can understand...when that voice is silenenced...it is time to mourn...." I then continued this in an older blog that covered the death of Eddie Guerrero: "This guy's life did affect mine. Even in a miniscule way. How many hours did I watch Eddie wrestle? Make bad "Latino Heat" jokes? Court Chyna (for some reason)? Wrestle ***** matches?......Thank you Eddie, for all your time, and your passion, and your dedication. Lots of people make fun of me, because I like wrestling. Let them make fun. Performers, WRESTLERS, like you, make it all worth it." And that is why I was saddened and shocked when I found out about Chris Benoit. If you had asked me who my favorite wrestler was a week ago, he would have been the answer. Hands down. In fact, I think I may have given that as the answer for the Seattle Times SSP article. And this is why Monday night I was at the bar putting back shots. At that time, more details were being revealed as to how horrible a tragedy had occured. So, my toasts, since I did not want to toast a "suspected" murderer, were to MY MEMORIES. Then Tuesday rolled around. The details came out. The bastard did it. Now the conflict: How can I "deal" with this? Am I still a wrestling fan? Am I still a Chris Benoit fan? The most heinous thing I can think of is a crime against a child. I would have wished him dead if he hadn't had done it himself. How can I come to terms with watching something that has been so instumental in my life, and can it continue to mean anything to me? How disgusted am I? So, let's explore these questions: ONE, how disgusted am I? On a scale of one to ten, I'm about a 20. Fucking asshole killed his wife and kid. Then took himself out. Why didn't he do everyone a favor and kill himself first? Dick. Asshole. I just cannot fathom what he did. And that's where my stupid brain gets in the way. I cannot fathom what he did. No one can. Only one person can. And he's dead. So, if there is some other entity in this world, commonly referred to as "God", then that would have to be the only other "person" that would know the hows and whys of this situation. That being said, who am I to truly judge? Maybe this man was seriously sick in the head, and had no control over what he did. I don't know that for a fact. Maybe the man was seriously sick in the head, and knew EXACTLY what he was doing. I don't know that either. So am I still a Chris Benoit fan? Well...people still listen to Phil Spector's music. And he's a sick freak who has always been wierd and shot a woman to death. Sure, he's on trial a la Robert Blake and OJ. So, there are parallels out there to all this. I'm not really sure where I stand on it at this moment. I do know, that if I was teaching someone how to wrestle IN THE RING I would still point out Benoit's skills there. I think I can separate the two thought camps enough to do that. A fan of his work, yes. A fan of the man, no way in hell. Can I watch him right now? No. Not yet. But, that leads to my next question: Am I still a wrestling fan? Do I still want to announce shows? Do I want to watch and discuss and pay attention to what is going on? Of course. Dammit, I was a wrestling fan before I knew who Chris Benoit was. I was a wrestling fan who found out about Chris Benoit back in the early 90s. I was a wrestling fan who stood with friends screaming "TAP! TAP! TAP YOU SON OF A BITCH!" at HHH as Benoit beat him at WMXX. I was a wrestling fan who on Sunday, sat with friends pissed off we didn't get our Benoit/Punk match. Now, I am a distraught and hurt and angry and sad wrestling fan. But, I AM STILL A WRESTLING FAN. I WILL STILL ANNOUNCE SHOWS. I STILL HOPE TO FEEL THE SWEET, SWEET RELEASE OF SOLID STEEL HITTING ME OVER THE HEAD AGAIN SOMEDAY. That has not changed. So, how to "deal"? Well...what the hell am I dealing with? I'm not a family member. I'm not a close friend. I AM A WRESTLING FAN. Have been one, am one, will always be one. I'm going to go out to the show July 4th and scream at the top of my lungs, and get hit with beer cans. I am going to bitch that CM Punk is being held down. I am going to watch with great interest what happens to the industry after all this. I really don't have anything to "deal" with. "Nothing changed except the surrounding bullshit. That has grown" ("Off He Goes" Pearl Jam) And someday, I will sit down and watch Mania XX again. And I will sit and watch Jericho/Benoit from the Rumble in 01 (?). And Angle/Benoit from 03. And on and on and on. Someday. Just not now. "sometimes people become famous and speak to someone in a way that only they understand...the same way that when a family member may speak to you about all things...in ways only you can understand...when that voice is silenenced...it is time to mourn...." And sure as the sun sets, there are many, many more voices in the chorus of life.

I put up a pic of Eddie and Benoit on myspace after finding out...and started a similar blog to the one i wrote after eddie died...and...i just posted that i am leaving them up until i find out more...it's really that simple for everyone... Let's find out what happened...then get angry/sad/annoyed...etc... I say lock down the threads til we know...maybe just have the mods give updates as they see fit...

One news report says it was a neighbor who called police...the other said it was the wwe office...this is all just shit....dammit...i need a fucking drink....
-
Fine...but...I can't believe someone would not have been trying to get to the bottom of it all last night and early this morning...i don't think they would wait until 2pm to call and get the sheriff to go check...unless someone knew something... Who's to say Benoit did it? Who's to say it wasn't Nancy and Benoit stumbled in after the fact and lost it...we don't know yet....remember...OKCity was some fanatic Muslims at one time...
-
Jesus. So...do I take down my tribute until all the details come out? Something seems reeeeeallllly fishy about this....Vince would not want to do a tribute to a murderer...there has to be some inside information...that has not come out yet...

The OAO Raw Hot Sell for WM 23 (March 26th)
RHR replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
that should be his gimmick Even WWE isn't that outdated. Yeah. Now if Kenny was brought around when Golga (RIP John Tenta) was around, it would have worked. Sniff. I miss the oddities. -
100% for Obama, 90% for Kucinich, and Richardson, Clark, Gore, and Edwards almost dead even. Hillary and Biden last among dems. Romney and Giuliani 1st two GOPers....with less than 50%. Pretty damn accurate.

I was glancing through this thread, and noticed some of the "grunge" and Cobain comments. And, it always pisses me off. Yeah, Nirvana was a good band. Maybe even great. But, they are WAAAAAAAYYYYY over-rated. Cobain was a careerist...despite his "image"...it's like the line in Singles, his act is that he has no act. He would slag other bands, and just trudge along. In Utero was a great second album, but, how much ammo did the druggie have left? We never saw them suck. I guess it's just that easy. Make a good first album, a great second album (with TONS of MTV airplay and radio play, and DAVID FUCKING GEFFEN behind your hype machine), and a bitter ballsy third album. Record an Unplugged. Shoot self and let more talented drummer start new career being awesome. Instant. Legend. So, I think I should start a band. It takes more balls to live, than to die. I would much rather see a band stick it out, and burst through all the sludge. Name me one band from 1988-1996 that is still around, and consistently tours/puts out music and is worth seeing. I'll give nods to Pearl Jam (who Cobain owed just as much to, as they owed to them---at least Jeff and Stone), Radiohead, and, to a degree, Nine Inch Nails. One thing is for sure, there are more bands that did not make it, then did.

Stealing jokes is wrong. Period. Anybody can use jokes in a personal setting, we all do it. I know people who are considered "funny" because they do whole comic bits around people in the bar I go to. I, on the other hand, have a reputation for telling bad jokes (unfunny). Why? Because I try out original crap at the bar. When I get a zinger, I take it public to the wrestling show I announce at. And, if somebody repeated it in a private setting later, no skin off my teeth. But, if I found some ass at Comedy Underground saying one of my jokes, I'd rip him a new one. Oh, and here is one of my ORIGINAL bad jokes.... By the way, did you hear about Mr. T's new restaurant? <Pause> It's got a Greek theme. <Pause> Yeah, it's called "I Pita The Fool." <Right Away, before the boos> That's not all. George Peppard's family is opening a Mexican dessert restaurant next door. <Pause> Yeah, its called "I love it when a Flan comes together". Cue boos and people throwing things at you.

And we get at least one of their World Series trophies.

I like this, except..do you mean Vince and Trump are wrestling? You meant Hogan and Khali wrestling right..? And for everyone..the past few cards haven't included Umaga at all..do you guys think he isn't going to be on the card? Or if he is, against who? I couldn't think of anyone for him. Yeah...I messed that up...I meant Khali w/Vince vs. Hogan w/ Trump. Also, I didn't put Umaga in because I'd rather he take out Jeff Hardy during the Tag Match to set up an IC feud or something...
-
WRESTLEMANIA XXIII IN MY WORLD Two minute opening clip... London vs. Kendrick Ladder Match (8:00) Start the crowd up with a fast paced match. Flair vs. Kenny Dykstra (10:00) Good crowd popper for Flair. US Title Match: Benoit vs. Finlay vs. Kennedy (10:00) I would love to see Kennedy in the Title picture, but, give him a Mania match. ECW Fatal Four Way: Test/Lashley/RVD/CM Punk (15:00) Extreme Rules match for the title. Give it 15 minutes, with RVD and Punk doing most of the work. At the one hour point: WWE Title: Batista vs. HBK (20:00) HBK can sell when he wants. He would make Batista look decent. HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES (5:00) Have Orton come out and RKO a few of them, leading to... Orton vs. Edge (15:00) Blow off the feud with a Street Fight Match. Basically just combine Foley/Orton from Backlash 04 and Foley/Edge from Mania last year. TLC Unification Match for Tag Titles: MNM/The Hardy Boyz/WGTT/Cryme Time (15:00) Because we all want to see it. Maybe throw in Dreamer/Sandman as interference at one point. Little over two hours Women's Title: Mickie vs. Victoria (5:00) Have this one take place in a remote location. My bed. (Wow...that was lame) Vince w/ Khali vs. Trump w/ Hogan (15:00) Bah. I don't want to see it, but, it makes the most sense. Won't waste anyone important. Get all the big pops here, have a Stone Cold run in when Vince tries to go after Hogan, have a Foley run in and have Khali throw him through something. Have Shane come out and have Foley give him Socko. Total insanity leading to the, if possible, Hogan slam of Khali. World Heavyweight Title: Cena vs. Taker (Rest of show) Because Taker on RAW as champ could fill the HHH void. A loss at WM to Taker wouldn't really hurt Cena, plus, we could watch Cena chase it down. And, maybe even an Edge/Taker feud too. 10 matches. New feuds. Everybody comes out looking strong. If I missed someone, throw them in where they should go.

Good band. They hang out at the bar I hang out at when they are back off tour. Jules is funny as shit, cause you can barely understand him.
