  1. Face Janus: Dreamsfear - As Darkness Falls Heel Janus: Fear Factory - Resurrection Janus/Fugue: N.R.G - Instruments of Destruction (short-lived tag team of the same name. *cries*) That's all I've had...
  2. Scarily enough, I imagined myself still being around here in my goddamn 80s
  3. Agreed. What would that make the man who SINGS the song, though?
  4. Batten down the hatches, because the storm is coming. And where the FUCK did you get a license to drive an eighteen wheeler? *gets visions of Dace driving said truck into Genesis IV* Oh, and I must say. GOLD!
  5. I followed the instructions. Cause I'm cooler than the rest of you who didn't. Except King. Cause he did too and he's automatically cooler than anyone anyway </suckup>
  6. First of all, thanks for liking the promo. (Y) And now! "Furry" - member of the furry community. A furry is someone who has a focal interest in humanoid animals, such as the type seen in some games and cartoons, and commonly has an online persona that is 'furry'. This is why Z calls me a ferret half the time. Most of us are just the average guy or gal, with a furry persona, who enjoy drawing and/or writing about bipedal animals. More broadly, it also includes people with spiritual animal beliefs and such. The community itself gets a bad rap as people like to focus on the fact it contains people who deviate from the norm in an extreme and usually sexual fashion (I won't elaborate, to let you keep your sanity), and this is most likely what caused King to go 'ew'. This side gets more focus on it by people than the more normal side, which is rather sad. So, yeah. That's my summary of 'furry'.
  7. to all of ya. ...except the tools.
  8. Proud to be a Furry
  9. Strangler, Janus is right there. Baha. I take pride in being a furry, Z.
  10. Three Weeks Ago The halls of the East Hills Psychiatric Hospital were as quiet as usual. Several doctors and their assistants walked the corridors, while guards patrolled the sections where the less mentally stable patients of the facility were kept. One particular doctor catches our eye - short and thin, he wears a brown suit and perches a pair of glasses on his nose. As he weaves through the other doctors, we find him approaching one of the many doors that lead to patients' rooms. As he pauses, the light catches his nametag. It's Dr. Frood. He stops at the door and peers in through the window - within, is a sparsely decorated room - a bed, a bedside table, and a second door that led to the bathroom and the toilet. But the room itself is empty, indicating the occupant is currently enjoying their 'free time' somewhere else. Moving on, the good doctor knows his patient is going to be in one of two places, and makes his way towards the hospital's gymnasium, where some of the more stable people are allowed to work out. En route, he passes the reading room, and spots who he's after. A tall figure sits in one of the room's chairs, reading a newspaper. Curled up in his lap is a small and fuzzy creature. Some patients commonly were given pets to keep them calm and happy. But it was the tall figure, in white trackpants and a white tanktop, with hair of mixed black and white, that the Doctor was looking at. Stepping into the room reserved for reading, Doctor Frood found his patient was the only figure in here, and carefully closed the door before sitting down. The noise makes the figure lower his newspaper, lifting green eyes to look curiously at Dr. Frood. It's Terrence Bailey. Otherwise known as Janus. "Terrence, how are you today?" "I'm fine, Doctor..." "And your friend?" Terrence smiles faintly, stroking the fuzzy shape in his lap with one large hand. "She's fine as well...do I have to go back to my room, Doctor?" "Oh no, Terrence. I'd just like to discuss a thing or two, about what you mentioned in our last session." Terrence paused for a moment, looking down at the newspaper in his hands, before folding it and leaning over to put it on the floor. In his lap, the fuzzy shape squirmed, twisting itself almost into a pretzel shape before relaxing. This earned a chuckle from patient and Doctor alike, before Frood held up his clipboard and read off it, clearing his throat. "I still see him in my mind. He's me, but he's not - so brutal, so nasty - how did he come to exist? You asked this question of me when you still saw Janus in your dreams...do you know yet?" "I...think so." "Tell me." "Janus...is the same person as me...but he's everything I'm not...all my anger, all my unhappiness, everything bad I feel...all crunched up into a little ball..." "And your involvement with this 'Clan'...this turned Janus into a real, tangible entity in you mind?" "Yes..." "And you don't see him anymore?" "No...it's like I know what he is, and that he's there...but I keep myself calm, and happy..." Frood nodded sagely and made a few notes on his clipboard. It had only been a month since they had admitted the then-psychotic Janus into the psychiatric hospital. But in that month, in this contained and controlled environment, Frood had established contact with the true personality in the seven foot body before him, and brought it out. Janus had been a mask, a second personality crafted by some sick madman, a personality he had been helping Terrence to shake. "So keeping yourself relaxed, and calm, and happy...this has stopped the raging in your mind?" "Yes, it has, Doctor...I haven't felt furious in a long time..." "And do you feel you could remain calm and happy outside these walls?" Terrence blinked, his green eyes narrowing as he caught the implication behind his Doctor's words. Despite his calm, he still had a sharp mind and instinct for things. "I think I could...but if you don't think so..." "Terrence...in all honest opinion. Since shaking Janus out of the forefront of your mind - you have been the epitome of a friendly giant. I think that given time and the right people and environment, I could let you back into society." Rising to his feet, Doctor Frood finished his little speech. "Just don't do anything reckless. I'll get back to you when I talk to the Psychology Board about your condition. Have a good day, Terrence..." Turning around, Doctor Frood left the reading room, and Terrence. The seven footer brushed some of his black and white hair out of his face, and the fuzzy shape in his lap yawned and stretched. Looking down, the green-eyed giant looked down into the red-eyed, white face of an albino ferret, then leaned down to pick up the newspaper. As he opened it, the ferret stretched and nosed the newspaper, causing Terrence to chuckle as he relaxed. Until he saw the advertisment where the little creature had touched. After a pause, he put down the newspaper and rose to his feet, lifting the little ferret up so she sprawled along his arm. Petting the little mustelid, Terrence stepped out of the reading room and began to walk back towards his own little room. Back in the reading room, the newspaper was on the ground, open to the sporting section, and a particular advertisement. 28/9/03 - "SWF Genesis IV: The Voyage Home" *** One Week Ago In Anchorage, Alaska, the peaceful night in an apartment is shattered by the sound of a ringing phone. *RING RING* *RING RING* "Aw...Markus! Get the phone!" Dante growled, burying his head in his pillow. With a stumbling yawn, a bleary-eyed Markus Cirillo, also known as the Antichrist Superstar Crow, stumbled out of bed. He paused and looked over at the couch where Dante was grumbling, and then back at the warm bed he'd being sharing with a sleeping Jessica. With a defeated sigh the marijuana-loving, cigarette-smoking Australian made his way to the phone and yanked it off the hook. "What the fuck man, it's 3am...who is this?" Silence on the other end of the phone. With a grumble, the Antichristian Phenomenon was about to hang up... "...Markus?" The voice on the other end had an Australian accent. Still half-asleep, Crow inhaled, then let it out with a yawn, letting the other person know just HOW tired he was. "Yo, that's me. Who's this?" "..." "Don't play silent with me, man, I can hear your breathing." "...It's Terrence, Markus." The Antichrist Superstar paused. He only knew one person with that name, and that very same person had been a vicious machine who had nearly ended his career. The monsterous Janus loomed fresh in his mind, but so did something else - the fact that Terrence had always been underneath that living mask, that evil creature born from hatred and spilled blood. "TERRENCE!? Jesus FUCK man, what are you doing calling me! Aren't you in a psych hospital?" "They let me out, Markus...I'm okay now, they say..." "Jeez, they fixed you in a month. They're fucking geniuses down there." "Heh...anyway, Markus...I wanted to ask you something.." "Don't, man...I got Dante and Jessica here already..." "That's not it...could you give me a ride somewhere?" "A RIDE?" Markus Cirillo's jaw dropped at the bizarre request. On the other end of the line, Terrence inhaled and exhaled calmly, exhibiting none of the vicious fury the bird could remember. Deciding to play along with his possibly unstable friend, the Antichrist Superstar sighed. "To where?" "..Genesis Four." Another silence. "Ja..Terrence, man, you can't go to Genesis. Even if you had a ticket..." "I do...heh, front row seat. Frood got it for me during my hospital time, a going away present..." "EVEN IF YOU DO...there's too much going down. King's gone berserk, old guys are popping up outta nowhere, and for christ's sake man, I don't want you getting involved with Silent again!" A pause on the other end. Terrence's voice changed a little - still warm and friendly, but with a hint of curtness in it. "Sorry for bothering you...Markus...but I'll see you at Genesis." Then his voice lightened. "Win the tag belts with Dante, will you? I'll be watching. And take care of my sister." Crow listened as the line went dead, jaw still hanging a little. Not only had he just been called by the man who had nearly ended his career, but said man was out of the psychiatric hospital. And would be watching at Genesis. Who knew what could happen - Janus had nearly destroyed Crow, brutalised Dante, and injured Jessica - but Terrence was not Janus... "Mmm...who was it, Markus?" Jessica drawled as the Antichrist Superstar slipped into bed. Crow sighed as his girlfriend hugged around his chest. "Just an old friend, Jess..." ~An old friend...and an old enemy...~
