The One and Only Survivor: Pearl Islands Thread
NYU replied to fairtoflair7's topic in Television & Film
Well, as far as the jury and the rest of the contestants know, Jon's grandma actually died. It was mentioned at Tribal Council, he talked about it as if it was true, and never admitted that it was a lie. So, that's really all that they know. The jury members only learn what they hear at the tribal councils, and don't receive any extra info. At this point, none of them know that it's a lie, so it won't prevent Jon from winning the game. But at the reunion show......yeah, he's pretty fucked. -
I heard Triple H loved Chyna because of her large penis.

So how long until Rougeau's website releases a statement saying "Mr. Rougeau never said this, and we would appreciate if this statement is taken down. This was an imposter who talked to Mr. Reshad. Not the Fabulous Rougeau." Reshad will apologize, but continue to say that it must have been Rougeau because his answers on the telephone were so convincing, and he's talked to him before. Unfortunately, Rougeau will still be punished. He will then be depushed by being forced to make the coffee for the booking team instead of actually pouring it into their cups. This will ruin any future SPOILING~! plans he may have had. Some serious drama will be GOIN DOWN AT TSM!

Who the hell did that one?

Uh-oh. Hear that? That's the stampede of anti-Rock comments. "Fucking selfish Rock." "He should stay in Hollywood." "He brings in Goldberg, but won't help Cena. Fuck Rock." with, of course, the obligatory comment: "Maybe Rock will fight Benoit and put him over." Brace yourself!

Well, be fair. Nobody actually watches Heat.

I think Scott Hall gets sympathy. A lot of people here complain about how stupid it was for Vince to put him in storylines dealing with alcohol when he was obviously a recovering alcoholic. But there's a difference between Scott's situation and Eddie's. When Hall got beer poured on him, it was by Steve Austin and it was part of the show. When Eddie got beer poured on him, it was by some asshole fan that probably wanted to look cool in front of his friends. I said a few months ago that Eddie wasn't wrong for hitting that fan. I stick by that opinion now.

I'd love if Kane and Undertaker had a Karate Fighters match. That tournament years ago was pretty sweet. Kane would probably get an early advantage but Taker, using dem soupbones to his advantage, would come back and knock Kane's fighter off his pedestal, thus proving to be the winner. It'd be better than any of their previous matches. But looking at it the WWE way....I wouldn't be surprised if it was Buried Alive, just to build off the previous match. Overkill is a word Vince doesn't know the meaning of.

I better get to the hospital. I laughed so hard that I fell off my chair, banged my head on the wall, and now there's a big blood stain on the floor. When the doctor asks me what happened, I'll just tell him "Jimmy Yang = Akio." I'm sure he'll understand. Hopefully he won't hurt himself from the side-splitting laughter. But man....Jimmy Yang... ......good times.

That doesn't make any sense. "Charlie, you were right to defend yourself. Eddie was being aggressive, and you had to stand up to him. BUT YOU'RE WRONG ! YOU MUST RESPECT HIM ! GOT IT?!" Huh?

I heard that Shawn Michaels didn't sell enough in his match at SummerSlam 02 and, if it had taken place in Japan, his tongue would have been cut out, rolled in rice, and served as sushi to the true wrestling gods, located -of course- in Japan. GO PURO!!! BURNING HAMMER~!~!

I'll explain. Many liberals use the term "Faux News" to describe conservative leaning channel "Fox News." In turn, SOME conservatives on this board will reply with "OMG, FAUX NEWS LOL!!!111 2003" whenever the channel's credibility is questioned. Seeing as this joke is old and overplayed, I was mocking it. Ah, I knew that ! This damn forum needs a sarcasm button. Seriously. I thought the winking face would have given away my sarcasm. Ah, well. Maybe I should have gone with the face sticking its tongue out instead.

The problem I have with that "no basis for molestation" article is.....things can change. At the time, the mother could have thought the relationship between Michael Jackson and her son was completely normal. Then, her son starts telling her about the stuff Michael actually did to him while he stayed at Neverland. He wouldn't say it on TV because, well, who would admit on national television that he was molested? But he thought he needed to tell his mother. Then, once his mom found out, she immediately decided to go to court, thus changing her entire stance on Michael. Keep in mind: This is a criminal case. Not a civil. At this point, she will not be getting money for anything - so what would be the reason for her and her family to make up these charges? It's possible that they did, but I doubt she would put her cancer-stricken son through a whole web of lies if it wasn't true. Just because the boys and their mother said in February that nothing happened, it doesn't mean that it didn't. The boy could have just not wanted to say anything out of total emabrrassment over the situation, while the mom was oblivious until her son told her. At this point, that memo really doesn't clear Michael Jackson from anything.

Heh heh. Faux news. Never heard that before. Good one, JMA And yeah, it's time somebody calls out PETA for some of their stupid actions. The whole "Holocaust being compared to killing farm animals" was the last straw for many, and now people actually see PETA for what it is - a form of terrorism in this country. Throwing red paint on people's fur coats, constantly making offensive and idiotic references....they're trying to take away measures of freedom that one has in this country. With their tactics, they wind up actually hurting their cause, and looking like dumbasses in the process. Trying to help animals is a noble cause, but not if you're doing it at the expense of your fellow person. They have their priorities in this world all screwed up, which is why PETA: a) doesn't work and b) is considered at this point to be a joke.

Shit, this story seems kind of familiar. Guy likes exchange student. Doesn't think exchange student likes him. Confesses his love to the exchange student, and now she likes him. Seems vaguely familiar. I must have heard something like it before. But where......? Where.....? Ah yes, nevermind.

Well, of course. When I think of the game of football, the first person that pops into my head is Clay Aiken I actually enjoyed the MTV Halftime Show a few years ago, but I doubt they'll be able to be as entertaining this time around. They'll go for the pop fluff in front of a testosterone-packed crowd, and hilarity will ensue. My guess for the show: Aerosmith, the White Stripes, Beyonce, and possibly Missy Elliott (). And don't be surprised if they throw Kelly Osbourne into the mix, just to raise the suckitude up to the highest power.

Yeah, it's not as if Steinbrenner can't afford him. The deal isn't off. Sheffield is most definitely going to the Yankees. And the baseball world will respond with apathy, until Boston trades for A-Rod and Steinbrenner has three consecutive strokes.

A man's gotta have his orgasms too.

! That's hilarious ! What a tool that interviewer sounds like right there.

why kane isn't in death row, we'll never know. Well, he WAS under house arrest..... .....the house arrest that lets you leave your house.... And he WAS escorted by cops..... .....who mysteriously disappeared, somehow deciding that Kane was now sane..... Wait.....I'm starting to get a feeling that this whole Kane thing that doesn't make any sense. -

Well Mr. Optimist, I believe they were building up Batista for his match vs. HBK. And skipping over the Orton/RVD match, which is supposed to be about the third highest match in the card? There has to.....HAS TO.....there MUST BE....some way they can put Batista over without bringing down RVD in the process like that. But I guess I don't see the master plan when it comes to how they handle Van Dam.
