  1. ON RAW: RVD vs. The Rock RVD vs. Shawn Michaels The Rock vs. Shawn Michaels Chris Jericho vs. Matt Hardy - for some reason. ON SMACKDOWN: Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero Brock Lesnar vs. Eddie Guerrero John Cena vs. Chris Benoit - Full blown feud. Not like now. Rey Misterio vs. Ultimo Dragon And, if Vince has to be involved in some capacity....Vince vs. Cena seems like it could be a very fun feud. -Now, these are assuming the rosters could stay the same, but......If I could move 2 wrestlers from Raw to Smackdown, it would be RVD and Shawn Michaels. I think they could put on awesome matches with the Smackdown guys, and I would love to see RVD and Michaels go against Angle, Guerrero, Benoit, and Cena. And they could be traded for......Brock Lesnar and Edge. Each brand would be getting 2 upper-midcarders/main eventers, that could pretty much have good to great matches with various people on the roster. I personally think Brock would be a better fit on Raw anyway. And, at this point, I don't really desire to see anyone switch from face to heel, or heel to face. Maybe make HBK and Kurt Angle heels, since they have always seemed to be better that way.
  2. This would have worked if.....you know.....people didn't actually like Mick Foley. Start a Mark-Henry-To-Be-Fired petition. THEN you might get some signatures.
  3. Shit, Highest one was like 532.3, but about 537 when I fouled. This game IS addictive.
  4. Jessica Alba would have helped Honey.....but then they put Missy Elliot in it. I don't care if she's only in the movie for 5 seconds.....it immediately warrants a zero-star rating. Sad, but true.
  5. Angle/Lesnar at SummerSlam. I thought it was the best match of the series, and easily the best match at SummerSlam, but many seem to disagree. To me, it was a ***3/4 or **** match. It just felt like it worked better, and was more solid than the WrestleMania match or the Iron Man match.
  6. Okay, here goes. Either way, whether it was the soldier killing the boy or just shooting him in the foot, the POSSIBLE attack would have been stopped. Now, it comes to matter of opinion or preference on what choice would have been made. Some might have just wanted to stop the boy, in as mild a way as he could. Duo, this would be your position, I assume. Others would have wanted to either MAKE SURE the boy wouldn't get an opportunity to kill him or later kill another soldier. Some of these people could have even wanted to extract revenge on him just for coming over with a loaded gun. You have to look at it as, at that point, the boy WAS A THREAT. A good amount of soldiers have been killed in Iraq by sneak-attacks and, as stereotypical as it might be, suicide bombings DO happen and measures need to be taken for a soldier to make sure he can avoid it. You can't fault people for saying they would have killed the kid. It comes down to what they think would be the proper self-defense for himself and the others around him. Personally, it's probably for the best that the soldier didn't kill him. I can't understand the people who said he made the entirely wrong decision - but I can understand the people who said they would have killed him if the same situation happened. You HAVE to presume that if he had a loaded gun, and was walking to a soldier, he didn't have good intentions on his mind. He didn't walk over saying "Merry Christmas, Mr. Soldier. I found this gun, and thought you would appreciate to have it." Considering some of the horrific events that have happened in Iraq, you have to presume bad intentions were on his mind and you need to take action. Shooting him MAY not have been necessary, but it wouldn't have been unwarranted. I think that's where you and the other posters are disagreeing.
  7. Thanks for backing up my point for me. -Duo So the kid could have killed that soldier, the soldier standing next to him, and an Iraqi that was in the background, that had nothing to do with the entire incident. Doesn't exactly help prove your point there.

    Paycheck...

Eh, it's Box Office Gross is going to be determined by how much Affleck backlash remains at this point. No matter how good the movie's reviews are, there are groups of people that will refuse to see the movie, just because they don't want to support a member of the Bennifer machine in any way. If the movie gets good reviews, and deserves to do good business, hopefully Affleck's presence won't take away from what the movie could have remained. It remains to be seen if the Affleck/J-Lo backlash has completely disappeared, or if it could become a factor again.
  9. Bad Santa opened in about 750 less theaters than the Missing and Timeline. And, as it turns out, Bad Santa made $8,383 per theater, while the Missing made $5,987/theater and Timeline made $4,521/theater. [All taken from boxofficemojo.com] So, as it turns out, Bad Santa did better than it seems. If it opened up in the same amount of theaters that movies like Gothika and Elf did, it definitely would have more money. The way it is now though, it did pretty damn good and is sure to pass its budget of only $18 million. Basically, Bad Santa did a lot better than I thought it would. I had it making less than $10 million this weekend, and doing pretty awful in reviews, so I'm happy it exceeded my expectations. Hope to see it soon. And I'm kind of happy Timeline bombed, considering Paul Walker is one of the worst actors today. Anyway, good numbers for the movie business all around this weekend.
  10. Well, I think the obvious question is.... how many more posts until someone accuses Ravenbomb of being Eagan?
  11. Well, if we're talking about 3-on-1.......Big Show and the World's Greatest Tag Team beat Brock Lesnar not too long ago.

    To the Weaver Haters

Killed your dreams? Jeez, come on. You won the World Series four times in six years, with the last one being only 3 years ago. Surely, you cannot have forgotten how it feels to have your team win the championship. I can understand being disappointed that the Yankees didn't win the World Series in 2003, but them not winning killed your dreams?! Even though you've been able to celebrate a World Series win FOUR times, if not more? I think someone's being a little dramatic.... How many teams in Major League Baseball have not won the World Series in the last decade? Have not gotten to the World Series? Have not gotten to the playoffs or not even in a playoff race? A good amount. The Yankees, on the other hand, have been in the race for almost the entire decade and actually won it 4 out of 5 times. Cubs fans, yeah, their dreams were shattered this year. Red Sox fans, yep, their dreams were crushed this year too. Yankees fans, unless they're three years old or younger, not a chance. You won more than enough World Series for the next couple of years already. Give another team a chance. As for Jeff Weaver, give him time. I say he may be a pretty good pitcher eventually.....even if he sucks now. But George can't stand to play the waiting game, so some deal will be made where Weaver - and truckloads of money - are sent to another team for a high profile player. Has happened constantly, and I'm sure it will happen once again.
  13. Dude, use logic here. Hogan and Nash had absolutely nothing to do with WCW's downfall. It was, and always has been, that evil Canadian Bret Hart. He forced them to sign him for an unbelievable amount of money, and gave them back nothing in return. I mean, even Hulk Hogan said "He ruined the WCW, brother." If you can't trust Hogan, my god, who can you trust? I've never heard anybody involved with the WWF ever say anything close to that. Heck, Vince's assumption about it was, actually, dead-on balls accurate "Bret, they'll have NO clue what to do with you". WCW took the hottest star in the business and BURIED him completely in 2 months. -=Mike Obviously, you missed that episode of Confidential then. -=Rob

  15. Well, a lot of people have to vote for Bad Blood on principle alone. Some posters on this board would love to title a PPV headlined by Triple H vs. Kevin Nash as the Worst PPV of the Year (or Worst PPV EVER!!!!), looking past the decent matches that were actually on the card. Nobody ever said that TSM posters were impartial......hell, some of them STILL think Lance Storm is actually a good wrestler.
  16. I almost cried when Bossman took Al Snow's shit, cut it up, and then fed it to Snow. So sad..... I hope the People for the Ethical Treatment of Shits got on WWE's ass for that. It was just offensive, and I hope they didn't REALLY cut up Snow's shit and feed it to him. Poor shit...
  17. Wait, that gave me an idea for a potential classic thread. 100 reasons why Bossman shits are > Goldberg's shits. Surely, no one ever came up with that kind of topic before.
  18. Who needs Schiavone at this point?! I never get tired of hearing Lawler yell "SHITTIES" whenever a woman comes out. Unless it's Molly. Then it's "JR, chant with me. She's-A-Fat-Shit! HA HA HA HA HA!!" But of course, Lawler is no Heenan. The shit that would dribble and pour out of Heenan's mouth beat anything that Lawler could say. Heenan was truly the pinnacle of heel commentating of WWE shitgramming.
  19. The X-Shit division IS good, but as someone great once said: "It's not enough to shit good if you have the ability to shit better!!" Truly inspiring words. But, if you're tired of the crap WWE is giving you, turn to the shit Pride has to offer. GO PRIDE!! WHERE THE FIGHTERS DON'T HOLD BACK THEIR SHIT !! TIRED OF WWE?! WATCH PRIDE, WHERE THE SHITTING IS REAL, BLOODY, AND VIOLENT!!
  20. The problem comes with Vince McMahon. He doesn't want the little men who can take surprisingly big shits to outshine his big men, who he naturally feels should be better shitters, so he enacted the "WWE Shitting Style" to make everyone shit the same way. Once again, good point. McMahon can't stand to push to someone who doesn't shit with the WWE style. First, he tries to send them to OVW to learn a wide array of dropshits and shitbusters. If that doesn't work, he just buries them and forces them to shit on Velocity. This is why I can't stand WWE. It's the same shit-dump-shit-dump brawling garbage every match, and I'm getting sick of it. This is why I started watching UFC now. UFC AND PRIDE BABY, WHERE THE FIGHTERS KNOW HOW TO SHIT HARD!!
  21. I agreed with the rating. Misawa, Kiwada, and Kobashi had a much better triangle shit match in Japan. These American wrestlers know absolutely nothing about good workrate nowadays. They have no sense of shitology.
  22. *CLICK HERE FOR :::SHIT ATTACK: 2003::: AND PICS OF TRISHS AND STACYS BEAVERS* Apparently, in the Triangle Shit, Big Show took a huge, successful dump. JR was so impressed by this turd's size and hosserific skills that he demanded Vince McMahon sign him to a 10 year contract. Well, wrestlingnewzandupdatesandbeavers.com has had an exclusive interview with one WWE insider and according to him, "This shit will be the next MARK HENRY, BY GAWD ! THAT'S HOW GOOD HE IS ! POOPER SCOOPER!!"
  23. Wait, wait....we just got a new update. BREAKING NEWS!!! After Triple H sat down in the stall next to Benoit, Internet Wrestling Columnist Chris Hyatte wrote an article entitled "The Shitting of HHH." Amazingly, the Internet Wrestling Community didn't find any of it funny and one was quoted as saying "Teasing Canadians isn't fun, ay." More updates at 11!!!
  24. *CONTINUED NEWS REPORT* :::BENOIT SHITS: 2003::: After Benoit took a shit, he attempted to wrestle it and internet wrestling fans called it one of the greatest matches of the year. But then Benoit applied the Figure-Four shitlock on the wrong turd and, according to one insider, "It then went down - A MILLION STARS!!!! He is slipping if he doesn't remember the straight turd is the HURT chunk!!" Benoit then wound up slipping on the shit during the match, but eventually won. Yet, the internet fans continued to say the shit should have gotten no offense during the match, since it doesn't compare to Benoit's pure godness, and that the shit just didn't sell enough. More updates to follow.
