  1. "I went to Iraq a couple of weeks ago to resolve for myself the recent contrast between gloomy news coverage and optimistic Pentagon reports of our progress. My trip left no doubt that the Pentagon's version is far closer to reality. Our news coverage disproportionately dwells on the deaths, mistakes and setbacks suffered by coalition forces... no better signal of our commitment to this effort could currently be provided than for Congress to quickly approve, with little dissent or dithering, the president's request for an additional $87 billion for Iraq and Afghanistan. Of course no one wants to spend such a sum. But it is well worth it if it leads to a stable, secular representative government in Iraq, something that could immeasurably improve our future national security." Click here to read the full article by Representative Jim Marshall (D-GA). That's nice. If some, or as one article said - most, Iraqis appreciate American involvement - that's all well and good. But the fact of the matter is that American soldiers are STILL getting killed there and STILL getting rocks thrown at them by unhappy Iraqis. This fact can't be denied. And again, if Iraqis wanted to really show their gratitude, they would gang up on those throwing rocks and make sure they don't do it again. This is what SHOULD be going on - but it's not, in reality. Picture it for a second: Your friend takes care of you during a rough time in your life. Someone was making your life hell, and this friend stepped in and made sure it ended by using force. After that, this friend helped you through other difficult times. He/She gave you food when you were hungry, medicine for when you were sick, and tried to help you learn to defend yourself and become a better person. One day, you see this friend getting the shit beaten out of him/herself. Do you stand there and go, "Hey. Thanks for uh....doing all that stuff for me. Later." or do you help him and end chase away this new enemy ? The Iraqis choose #1. #2 should be the correct answer. It's easy to say thanks, and then shut your eyes to everything around you. Iraqis should be making sure the American soldiers are being protected since, you know, they are the ones that liberated them and improved their lives, like they "appreciate." But they're not doing anything to show it, and the American death count rises with every day. We're being given no protection over there, and it's just one more family member that is being murdered by these rebel Iraqis, with no approving Iraqis helping us in the process. This, to me, was not worth $100+ billion dollars. Not when they are countless problems to be solved here.
  2. I like the tights. And that second picture looks awesome, quality-wise. But is it true that when he does the thumb-posing that some of the other fans do the thumb-posing as well ? That was a rumor I heard and, if it's true, that would definitely rule. Edit: Watched the entrance. They do the thumb-posing in the entrance which is pretty damn cool. But why can't RVD have his current music instead of that music he had when he first debuted in WWE ? I guess copy-right stuff and all that, that Vince doesn't want pay up for someone that isn't his boy. And it will be inexcusable if they don't have an animated rolling thunder. The one in SYM was just sloppy and could be done so much better. But looking at the videos, he still has the same shitty Rolling Thunder. I'm hoping they have an animated one too, but I guess we just have to wait and see.
  3. I'm very interested in seeing what the Raw rating was, and specifically what the rating was for the ladder match. But it has been 2 days, and still nothing about the ratings. If someone has it, could they post it here ? Thanks.
  4. Head - 67yuth 8ui6ty Dick: afdjawirjwqiajriwqjeiqwdmiawdjnasidnsakdniQNDK andinanjDNKNACKLDNAKLNDFKSANDKNASKDNASKDA LJKSDNKLANSDKNASKLDNKLASDKNASKDNLSKADNKASD NaskamskamsdkamsKMQEKWPKDPS,D ASMDLMSALDM;LASMDPQ[]K][PWE[PAWDM,AWOPERMQWL -Ah, no shock there. But I thought it'd make more letters.
  5. Obviously. I'm happy we captured some of these terrorists too. But the head terrorist, Osama Bin Laden, was never captured and could still be out in the mountains, recruiting people for Al Qaeda once again. And as for Guantanamo Bay, of course there have been terrorists captured there. But there are also innocent people there, inflating the numbers captured by possibly a considerable amount. I don't dispute that going into Afghanistan after 9/11 was needed. I certainly do think it had to be done and the world is better for it that some of these terrorists were captured. What I disagree with is the Iraq war, and basically every part of Mike's posts. -And well, they're TELEMARKETERS. Who else could they be compared to ? Wait until we throw Genghis Khan into the mix
  6. Time for a little news flash: Finding ONE MAN in a MOUNTAINOUS region FILLED WITH PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT AND WILL HIDE HIM is a wee bit on the difficult side. Nobody in the administration EVER promised Osama's "Head on a stick". They promised that Al Qaeda would be effectively dismantled and its ability to commit acts of terrorism again -- and lo and behold, it's been done. Shocking. Al Qaeda's top leaders are almost all dead or in our custody. But, if paranoia trumps facts in your head, continue to believe that Al Qaeda can get us. For all the troops we had there and for all the advanced technology we could have used, we should have been able to find Bin Laden. It baffles me how he could have escaped such a growing number of soldiers. Last I heard, a few months ago, we were RIGHT on his tail. Only hours away from catching him. But again, he escapes us. This SHOULDN'T be that difficult. If we were utilizing our technology to its full advantage, we would have had him captured already. And oh look, we're going to play the literal game. Hooray. No, dipshit. Nobody in the Bush administration said Osama's "head will be on a stick." But somebody did say "The evildoers responsible for this will be brought to justice." Yes, we caught some of them. But the top evildoer, the one behind the whole catastrophe, was never captured. It seems like a promise there wasn't fulfilled, doesn't it ? And, as for Al Qaeda's leaders and most members being dead or in custody, remember: Osama's still free. His closest assistants are still free. And there are still many people in the Middle East that would like a chance to wound the United States. I doubt it's too incredibly hard for these Al Qaeda members to recruit more people, and then we have trouble all over again. But no, no. Let's take all realistic facts out of our head and hope for the best. Osama's dead. Terrorism is over. La, la, la. Oh, and a bunch of "ungrateful, disrespectful Iraqis". That's like saying that evey student in the 1970's vigorously opposed the Vietnam War. It is hardly the case. There are some, but most support us --- even though they do resent the troops having to be there. Nobody likes to feel as if they're being occupied, even if it's better than their previous alternative. But, as always, let the world suffer if it possibly is less than convenient for us to fix a problem we can fix. And rebuilding a country isn't quick. Germany and Japan weren't rebuilt quickly. We can do it QUICKLY --- or we can do it RIGHT. If we do it quickly, we'll just have headaches in the future and the people of Iraq will be served poorly by it. Well, these ungrateful, disrespectful Iraqis are sure as hell making their voices more known than those who are thankful. If we were really appreciated in Iraq, those who continue to attack American soldiers would get the shit beaten out of them by the Iraqis that thank us for what we've done. But no, that hasn't happen. You can give me all of your "Iraqis are really happy to have us there. 73% of them think this is good." stats all you want. There is a growing number there that are strongly resenting us, leading to more American soldier deaths. And the people that DO think this is a good thing, they do nothing about it. This doesn't show gratitude to me. This shows apathy. And the difference with Germany and Japan: We had other countries to help us. It was part of WW II and, as a result, we had Britain helping us, France helping us, other European countries doing their part to rebuild their countries. Now ? Now we're all alone in trying to rebuild Iraq. We're the only ones putting our money in and the U.N. get to sit around and mock, not contributing a damn dime. We alienated the rest of the world with our actions, and have been forced to pay for this rebuilding alone - something that was done for the improvement of the world - as you say. Thanks to the reckless behavior by Bush, we're picking up the tab - and this is unacceptable as well. Actually, the Soviets found Hitler. We NEVER did and we have never run tests on the alleged remains to the best of my knowledge to determine if what the Soviets had WAS Adolf's body. I doubt we care, as them being his remains are the perfect ending to the conflict and the perfet denunciation of the cults of personality. We, as in "we, the world." Stop grasping for straws here. And it WAS Hitler, as most of the world knows. But now we're struggling to prove me wrong in ANYTHING, so we're going to say it hasn't been proved. Sure, buddy. We're interrogating them still. If they still have info, just indiscriminately killing them seems rather idiotic. But of course, you ignore that, don't you? Ah, to be young and clueless. We're interrogating EVERY SINGLE PRISONER in Gitmo ? There's not one person there that has finished being of any use to us and could therefore go to court ? Wait.....just because we're getting info from them....why can't they be taken to court anyway ?! Because we're putting it off as long as we can. Soon, it will come out that a number of people in Guantanamo weren't terrorists as all, but arrested on basis of "allegations." And then we'll realize that we didn't do AS good on this war on terrorism as we had hoped. This is why the trials haven't started yet. Just because they're being interrogated doesn't mean we can't start preparing for court. And, by the way, nobody said anything about indiscriminately killing them. Obviously, this is Un-American. But do SOMETHING with them because now this is taxpayer money that is being spent for seemingly nothing. Seeing as how they VOLUNTEERED for the service (no draft, last time I checked), you insepid little twit, your point is, as usual, moot. It's as bad as Reservists bitching that they had to be deployed. If you don't want to go --- don't enlist. Simple. Yes, they volunteered for the service. To defend their country in a war that is just, and needs to be fought. The Iraq war did not NEED to be fought. These soldiers did not NEED to die. This could have all been avoided, because it was not necessary ! Obviously, the soldiers aren't going to say no. It's their job. But the President of the United States should have the ability to see what is going on and say "No. 300-something American lives are not worth this. Not yet." But obviously, this isn't how it happened. Wow, you have info that the State Dept., CIA, and entire U.S military doesn't have? And you post HERE? Shocking. I feel almost honored. Come on, man. Where are they ? Hello, Weapons of Mass destruction, where are you ? Did Saddam bury you in the earth's core ? Did he open up a hole in a cloud and stuff you in there ? Hello, where are you ?! Face it, we've searched the country HIGH AND LOW. Nothing has been found. If there were weapons, they've been gone for a while now. As it stands now, there was no big threat there, at all. And if that whole uranium charge from months ago was any indication, U.S. intelligence had at least an inkling of this fact. We went with intel provided by Israel --- who is quite good at getting intel. I think I'll trust Israel's intel over the damning evidence of the Democrats and the NY Times, thanks just the same. Again, show me the proof. We've been there for about 6 months ago. SHOW ME THE CONNECTION ! There has to be SOME DAMNING EVIDENCE that says Saddam was connected with 9/11. Give me a document !! Let me see with my own eyes !! But no, somebody made an accusation. You agreed with it. And even in the face of total disprovement, you continue to stand by it and say it as if itis 100% true. Hey buddy, Scott Steiner called. He needs a debating partner. Members who, again, volunteered for the military, knowing that their lives might be in jeopardy. It's like hearing a Secret Service guy bitch that he might have to lay his life down for the President. They - Died - When - They - Did - Not - Have - To. How do I hammer this point into your head ? The President should be the most responsible person when it comes to the lives of his citizens, and he acted as if he was playing a game of Risk. Yes, they knew they COULD have died. But this doesn't change the fact that they SHOULDN'T have died. You can say all you want about us freeing the Iraqis from this and that. But I fail to see where they show their gratitude, when I'm being shown clips of American troops getting rocks thrown at them every night. And, $87 billion dollars for this war is unbelievably ridiculous when again, we have our OWN problems here that need solving. Whether this was a war over oil or Bush's daddy almost being shot, I'm not entirely sure. But I sure as hell know that the war wasn't declared for the sole purpose of saving the Iraqi people and a threat to America. Hey look, there's North Korea. They have a Nuclear Bomb AND their people are being mistreated. They look like a problematic threat.....but we go for Iraq. Wha ? North Korea's people may need just as much help, if not more, as the Iraqis, but we choose to ignore. Why, if Bush is fighting this war and rebuilding for truth, justice, and the American Way ?
  7. You've already shown yourself to be lacking intellectually when it comes to simple pro wrestling. You're almost embarrassing yourself here. Man, you're killing me here, Mike. The fact that some of your posts today said "The fans sat on their hands during the ladder match ! They didn't care" is not only ignorant, but embarrassing as well. But yeah, it's me. "We never caught bin Laden"? Umm, SO? Al Qaeda is all but dead. Bin Laden was a figurehead for Al Qaeda. He was responsible for 9/11 and, afterwards, we were practically promised his head on a stick. And what happened ? We have some of the most techonologically advanced military equipment in the world, and we couldn't find a man hiding out in the mountains. It's ridiculous. If Bush didn't make it such a point that we would bring this evildoer to justice, this would be a moot point. But the way it is, he made a promise and didn't come through. And Al Qaeda is all but dead ? Awfully big statement to make. No one can predict the future, and no one can truly tell what is going on in Saudi Arabia right now anyway. But *hyuk*, troops captured a whole bunch of dem dere Arab folks, we must be safe. Yes, he did catch terrorists but it is FOOLISH to say that this terrorist cell is all but dead. Extremely foolish. "We never caught Hussein"? Ditto. He isn't in power. Same idea here. Don't promise me Saddam's head on a silver platter, and I won't be pissed off. But we were promised Saddam and once again, it hasn't been delivered. What HAS been delivered is a whole bunch of dead Americans and a whole bunch of ungrateful, disrespectful Iraqis. Not to mention the disgust of the rest of the world for going through with a war that nobody even agreed with, including half of the U.S. ! This war in Iraq has done us absolutely no favors, cost us billions and billions of dollars, and the rebuilding is now going on with pretty much no end in sight. *clap* *clap* Great job, Mr. President. To give you a hint, we never caught Hitler, either. I suppose WW II was a failure too, huh? We found Hitler's burned body, and have been assured that he will never wreak havoc on the world again. Bin Laden and Hussein are still at large. Though both look to be powerless, nobody knows if they could be preparing for an attack on a larger scale. Difference again. We continue to hold terrorists at Gitmo? Good. Fewer sub-human monkeys to cause problems around the world. Good work. We've lost too many soldiers? Ah, there is that resolve that so many of my generation --- or younger --- are known to have. I used to think that Baby Boomers were self-involved little twits. I now realize that people my age tend to be infinitely worse. "Oooh, I don't want to sacrifice ANYTHING unless I'm guaranteed something really good." I agree. I have no sympathy for the terrorists at Gitmo. But start prosecuting some of them, dammit ! Oh, and by the way, good planning with those prison guards. Now we find out we've had traitors over there. NOW I feel reassured in this whole Guatanamo Bay thing. Maybe if the terrorists had been prosecuted right now, and some put to death already, we wouldn't have to deal with treason. But instead, Bush and his cabinet have sat on their asses for the past 2 years and done nothing. This is doing nothing for the country and once again, wasn't what was promised to us. And you selfish piece of shit, excuse the soldiers for not wanting to go fight in a war that was completely unnecessary. We now know that Saddam didn't have weapons of mass destruction, had no connection to 9/11, and pretty much had nothing planned for America. But we let 300 and something soldiers get killed in Iraq based on FALSE INFORMATION and GUESSES. This is totally irresponsible and, thanks to the war, we now have 300-something parents, wives, husbands, and children who have had to bury their family members. Yosemite Sam declared war for his own benefit and, to this point, it hasn't benefited anybody. For God's sake, a growing number of Iraqis want us OUT OF THERE and are killing American soldiers to prove their point. But no, let's call those who didn't want to fight "self-involved little twits" Fighting in WWI was necessary. Fighting in WWII was necessary. Fighting in Iraq was a stupid, unnecessary war, and people had to pay the price for it when they clearly shouldn't have. We've spent $87B in Iraq. So, you'd rather LEAVE them as they were? The economy is in rebound, much as you hope otherwise. In all truthfulness, YES ! Yes, I would rather LEAVE them as they were. We have people suffering over here. We have unemployment rising, homeless continuing to grow, a deficit that gets bigger by the day - and we are helping Iraqis that are saying "Leave, you American pieces of scum" Why are we spending $87 billion on this ? Screw political correctness. We have our own problems over here, and we continue to play policeman to the rest of the world - when no one else wants us to. And one last thing, the economy is in rebound ? Yeah, buddy, keep telling yourself that. Seriously, until you buy a clue, avoid intelligent boards. You stick out. Nah, man, I bought my clue. I know my stuff. But you continue to act like a broken record, reitering the same false shit whether it's here or on the WWE board. Congratulations, I now know that you pretty much have no idea what the fuck you are talking about on any topic. *handshake* Good job.
  8. LOL He's got a recovering economy on his side and the War on Terror is generally considered successful so far. You are still a dumbass and you still know jack shit about politics. ... And I think I covered all of it up there *Christ, you make it too easy...* And CWM, did they ever find a link between him and Enron? It seemed to die off on it's own rather than GW distracting anyone from it. The war on terror is considered successful ? We never caught Osama Bin Laden. We never caught Saddam Hussein. We just continue to hold terrorists at Guantanamo Bay, with justice being given to almost no one there so far. We've lost way too many soldiers in Iraq. We now need to spend $87 billion dollars on rebuilding Iraq, although our own economy is suffering. But yeah, the War on Terror has been a success so far.
  9. As a Catholic, I would never hope that the Pope dies or anything like that. Of course not. But to be fair, as a Catholic, how can one be inspired when he sees the Pope struggle to get off an airplane and just stands on the steps ? Or when he's doing a mass and just sits in one position the whole time, with his head down, slowly mumbling his words, like he's about to fall asleep. The Catholic Church does need someone new to try to get interest back because like I said, when I see the Pope now, I'm not inspired. I just feel sorry for his condition and marvel at how old he's gotten since I saw him last. These aren't the kind of feelings I should be having when I look at him. But regardless of my feelings on this issue, I do hope he gets better, and that he and his family will be blessed.
  10. Well, women's title soon enough. Trish is going through the ultimate depush, so someone will have to get the title off Molly. Here comes Lita. And obviously we can't forget the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION of Raw, who may be the worst offender yet. Not only can Goldberg NOT wrestle, but he doesn't even like what he does. Pathetic...
  11. Really ? I always thought it went: "EVOLUTION IS YOUR ENERGY DRINK YOU CAN GET IT FROM YJ STING IT GIVES YOU THE POWER TO SHOOT BEES !" And if you want to think about shitty theme music, look no further than Gail Kim's. It's so bland and boring that it's no wonder the fans say "Ah, hell, I'm taking a leak" when she comes out. Worst theme music on Raw.
  12. Oh, please, don't doubt it for a second. If he can kick Kane's ass like he did at Unforgiven, they would surely have him beat Fuck Goldberg for the title sometime. It sounds unbelievable now, but who would have EVER thought they'd wind up giving the title to Vince McMahon at one point ?
  13. Yup, just as the sky is blue and the rain makes the green grass grow. BUT.... King Of The Ring final vs Brock. And yeah, Brock was making people sit on their hands at the time but Rock had them going from the word go just after that. Nah, correction. Brock had a fan reaction starting from SummerSlam, which wasn't even the reaction he was LOOKING to get. Even before that, when they were building the feud up, Brock got nothing. After the Brock-Super Push from Hell, I never ever want to hear WWE say again that they don't choose who gets pushed; the fans do. Never had someone going for the title got such a lack of reaction. And the apathy at King of the Ring for RVD/Brock, though I DO remember there being some considerable support for RVD, would be placed on Brock. RVD had a heat-filled match with Jericho just minutes earlier, while Brock had a pretty much dead match with Test. Who then could be attributed to the dead crowd, if there was one ?
  14. But...RVD wreslting Test as the curtain jerker match and Jerhico going against ROCK...or Austin...I can't remember...again while never mentioning the RVD incident again was the natural progression of the fued. ... Right? Well, Barron believes so. Yet of course, we ALL know the feud was dropped on the night God returned to professional wrestling. But nah....no conspiracy here.
  15. Jeez, this is like the third topic now we've been arguing. Don't criticize a match for being bad. Praise it because it was what it was? Where did I say that ? I said it was a highly entertaining match that should be appreciated for what it was. It wasn't a mat classic, as ladder matches almost always aren't. Read my post again, my friend. It wasn't a terribly good spotfest. In the pantheon of ladder matches, it was down with Jeff Hardy v UT. Ah, biased, biased, biased. As always. Edge vs. Christian was better ? I don't think so....RVD vs. Jeff Hardy on a Raw last year wasn't as good as this. And Hardy vs. Undertaker just sucked, so there's no comparing the two at all. Just on the virtue of UT/Hardy being a squash, and RVD/Christian being a see-saw battle with both men getting the advantage. And let's never forget that ultra-famous Goldberg vs. Scott Hall Souled Out Ladder Match years ago. But hey, overexaggerate your point. Seems to help, no ?
  16. Honestly, RVD is just as bad as Hunter. -=Mike Care to explain how RVD is as bad as hunter instead of just throwing out a complete generalization about the two. Nah, Mike's word is gold. He says something without backing it, and you just have to accept it - because Mike is never wrong. Ah, slams from the RVD fanboys. Ouch. It's hardly MY fault that he can't work the mic, a match, or have a watchable match without props. -=Mike Can't work the mic ? Again, give him time. It's the same answer every week. Give him some god damn to work the microphone, and we can see how he does. I still don't think his mic skills are bad at all. I found his interview with Triple H before Unforgiven last year pretty entertaining, and if he was given material to work with, I think he could do a good job. But, like he said, he's told to say the word "Cool" and that's it. Give him something else to do. Can't work a match ? Matter of opinion. I think he can. You think he can't. Whatever, we've argued about all this before already. No watchable matches without props ? RVD vs. Eddie Guerrero - Backlash 2002 RVD vs. Eddie Guerrero - Judgment Day 2002 RVD vs. Chris Benoit - Raw 2002 RVD vs. Chris Benoit - SummerSlam 2002 RVD vs. Triple H (OTHERS may disagree) - Unforgiven 2002 RVD vs. Chris Jericho - King of the Ring 2002 and countless times on Raw. But now you'll go "Wah, wah, those aren't watchable. And those are really good wrestlers." when you realize you've been proven wrong. But hey man, as my favorite wrestler AND yours says, "Whatever. It's all cool"
  17. Honestly, RVD is just as bad as Hunter. -=Mike Care to explain how RVD is as bad as hunter instead of just throwing out a complete generalization about the two. Nah, Mike's word is gold. He says something without backing it, and you just have to accept it - because Mike is never wrong.
  18. What the hell are you expecting from a ladder match ? Owen/Bret from WM X quality ? I mean, come on now. Stop with the fucking pickiness and just enjoy the match for what it was. An entertaining ladder match where both men continued to hurt themselves for the enjoyment of the fans. Stop with the god damn psychology, please. It's a ladder match !! Jesus Christ !
  19. It was a bad match, sorry to say. I happen to like Christian, but this match was tedious. It looks real good in comparison to EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE SHOW, but it is RAW. Just because the rest of the show is unmitigated crap and one match is mediocre, it doesn't suddenly mean that the mediocre match is great. The crowd was on their hands for the VAST majority of the match (a COMMON problem for Robbie boy's matches) and this "massive" pop at the end of the match only illustrates how much the crowd doesn't care about the WWE now, as the pop for that win would have seen borderline muted just two years ago. It was the usual RVD match. Spot --- stall --- spot. It wasn't even a very good ladder match --- and I'm f'n sick of ladder matches. -=Mike You sound so petty and biased right now, it's pathetic. I don't know where to start so I'll just say: You're wrong. Your obvious RVD-hate has blinded you from seeing that the fans were going crazy last night, no one in the front rows were even sitting during the match, and the pop at the end was the loudest one I heard since Shawn Michaels won the Elimination Chamber - nearly a year ago. But go ahead, keep making posts that make absolutely no sense and totally distort the truth. It's what you do EVERYTIME someone mentions RVD, isn't it?
  20. For crying out loud, so what?? The guy is over but so is Spanky, Funaki, Lita, Trish Stratus, etc. You can't HONESTLY be putting RVD's overness on the same level of Funaki and Spanky, or Lita and Trish. I swear, you can't be that stupid. Show me an episode of Raw or Smackdown where the crowd has been whipped into such a frenzy by any of those guys like they were with RVD last night. Hell, show me a Raw or Smackdown where Triple H or Goldberg had the crowd whipped into a frenzy like last night. Goldberg might get pops, but he doesn't get THAT kind of crowd reaction and THAT kind of appreciation from the fans. He's potatoed Austin and Angle (so many times his wife got loud), injured Triple H twice (once being in a PPV main), and injured himself once. Once he proves he can go out there and not hurt someone he'll probably get more respect. Yawn, the potatoing of Austin and Angle was 2 YEARS AGO ! Get over it, man. He might make a guy bleed from his mouth or something occassionally, but in no way is he a menace in the ring. He injured Triple H twice ? Who hasn't injured Triple H ?! And those were freak accidents. If Triple H's muscles weren't tearing from his bone as he walked, he'd be a bit more resilient. And if he'd learn to fucking watch his body while somebody dives off a chamber, he wouldn't have injured his throat. And he injured himself once - again, who hasn't ? Game, you're grasping for straws here. With RVD's high-flying style, he's been injured seriously ONCE. Just ONCE. He deserves props for that. It's worse coupled with the fact that he thinks he's being so depushed like the rest of you do. Maybe if he wasn't cocky like he is in his interviews he could probably get by better too. He is being depushed. If he has to make it known on a radio show that he doesn't it, just so something will get done, then that is what he has to do. He got saddled with Kane for most of the year while he remained quiet. He spoke out - and weeks later, he's the Intercontinental Champion. Obviously, he was getting depushed and, if WWE does what's right after Monday night, he'll get pushed again.
  21. Well, I think the obvious question here is: Why in the hell is Rico wrestling Jazz ?
  22. nl5xsk1, I'm beginning to think you were the guy that poured the beer on Eddy that night. Your posts just continue to be reasons on why the guy shouldn't have gotten punched. He did something outrageously asshole-ish by pouring beer into a recovering alcoholic's mouth, then probably laughed about it with his friends. He then got a few shots laid out on him, which he deserved. I could understand if Eddy took a knife and stabbed him a few times - yes, that's pushing the limit, of course. But he got a beer thrown in his face while he was trying to entertain and if the guy had to get roughed up to learn a lesson, so be it. What Eddie did is perfectly understandable and normal - and hell, he should be applauded for it. I would be saying the same thing right now even if it was Fuck Goldberg or Triple H(well, maybe not him) if they got the same treatment. The lesson here is real simple, folks. Tell the guy to keep his beer in the god damn cup, and he won't get the taste slapped out of his mouth. Seems like a simple rule to me.
  23. Fight Club Se7en. Two movies, both of which had awesome endings. Especially Fight Club, which forced you to rewatch the whole movie after the first viewing.
  24. You're probably right about that. It's just like with SYM, where they released videos of ladder matches with moves that weren't possible in the final game, like dropkicking the ladder into someone's face. Wait....couldn't you dropkick the ladder into somebody's face in SYM ? You prop the ladder into the corner, irish whip the opponent into it, and press Right-and-O (I think) Then, they grab the ladder and walk a little with it, you climb to the top rope, and dropkick it into their face. Unless you aren't talking about this particular move.
  25. I found a pretty cool video that shows some clips from Smackdown: HCTP. It's not the best video in the world, but it's worth a look just to see the videos of RVD, Rey Misterio, and Shawn Michaels jumping off the Elimination Chamber. Here: http://home.comcast.net/~akramosama/sd5efdh.wmv The Elimination Chamber REALLY looks like it's going to be an extremely fun match. Can't wait.
