Really, I thought that it was more like $250,000. But they did split the pot between four "main events" and the show got an insanley low buy rate... it was stupid for Hogan to quit over it. Especially since the guys like a multi-bajillionaire four times over anyways. What a jerk.

I want a picture of that.

The story that HTQ posted go's far past not wanting to drop a title. It was a tiny indy title, and he was meant to drop it to the only guy in wrestling who is actually trying to help him out. Dude's got a point. As for Bagwell, is it possible he may have gotten better? I met him (briefly) at a show in Milwaukee last December, and he seemed really nice and down to earth, he even stayed after the show (I think the only wrestler who did) to sign autographs, take pictures and talk with fans. He came across to me as a really cool guy, at least.

Where's the story about Triple H, HBK and Steph's adventures as young wizards fighting the dark lord Bischoff? "Triple H and the Sledgehammer of Serenity" Make it happen. On a side note, I am SO getting these novels when they come out.

Does Triple H even want to be a heel?
David Blazenwing replied to NoCalMike's topic in The WWE Folder
I'll take a Triple H win if it means we get the "Undisputed" version of the WWE Championship back. I can't imagine Triple H walking around with the Spinner belt, can anyone else? -
That's hot.

I had the same feeling when watching Mikey Batts. And then...puff...he just disappeared. I don't think the same will happen to Aries, though. A lot of people have said he'll be main eventing TNA by 2007. I think that's a stretch, but I could easily see him being in Chris Daniels' or AJ's TNA positions by then. Isn't Batts in OVW now? One of the WWE dev camps. I remember thinking it was ironic because they fired Kidman, then hired Batts, who I believe is Kidman's cousin or something... he's a relative, I know that much.

Hmm...didn't Eddie's grandma or something also get a heart attack in 2004? Vince is now ripping off Eddie storylines. When will the exploitation stop? Close, it was Eddie's mom. She just looks really old.
-
Nice. Seriously, don't give Vince any ideas. Please.

Austin Aries is a hometown guy (I'm also from Milwaukee) so I'm loving seeing him on Impact every week. And the guy can kick ass too! Now Candace Michelle... well, she ain't bad either. Milwaukee is a great place... lol...

Things That Annoy Us About John Cena
David Blazenwing replied to SuperJerk's topic in The WWE Folder
He had the title for nearly the same length of time as Batista (by what, two days less?) and yet, I loved seeing Batista as WHC still, while I couldn't wait to see Cena drop the belt. Pimptista = money... John Cena = boring since he turned face in late 2003 Oh... and: 65: He ended Edge's first WWE Championship reign after only three weeks, when his first reign was what, 9 months? -
Using Eddie's death in storylines - So, are all of you finally aga

Ah... the one detail I overlooked. Well played. I forgot about that. There goes my theory. -

Hey... with all the Eddie shilling going on lately... I've been considering a possibility... what if Eddie's not dead? And I'm being completely serious here. Given his current mindset, would ANY of you put it past Vince to attempt to trick the entire wrestling world, IWC, media world, etc. into believing one of the most talented performers in the history of his company had passed just to prove he could do it? And look at the upside... ratings increase (slightly, well, for the Tribute shows anyways), merchandising (they must be making a load off all the Eddie gear, money going to his family not withstanding, plus his book which just HAPPENED to come out right after he died, come on! Coincidence?) and more. I just have this weird feeling that Eddie will cost Rey his spot at WM at No Way Out (Rey gets Orton down, all of a sudden, Eddie's music hits and Eddie walks out onto the ramp, Rey stands in stunned silence, Orton gets up, Rey turns around, WHAM, RKO, 1, 2, 3) and it sets up Eddie/Rey for WrestleMania. I mean, idk, I could be all wrong, Eddie might very well be dead. But with the way things have been handled lately... I dunno. What if Eddie really had a heartattack or something on November 13th (or close before it) and needed to take time off? Then Vince cooks up this "huge" storyline idea, and now we're here. It's just, especially Orton's "You have just about as much chance of beating me as Eddie does at coming back to life!" really set it off in my mind that "hold on a second, maybe this theory ISN'T so crazy. -
They probably just need to get rid of the backstock, lol... WWE's not stupid, they know when they've released a bad PPV. Doesn't stop them from airing them, but still...

Upon reading the news again, this gets a Huh? / WTF? out of me. Pretty sure he means an OLD crowd shot of the crowd cheering. So WWE knew the crowd was going to shit all over the title change BEFORE it happened... and they STILL let it happen??? Now THAT gets a "WTF?" out of ME.
-
Definitely Eddie. I could even see him being their "big" induction ala Hogan if they can't get Bret.
-
Nobody bladed that I noticed... and Vince sort of interfered... he distracted HBK while Shane O Mac snuck up behind him and tossed HBK out. Does that count as official Vince interference?

Thanks. What would the recommended amount of free memory be? Not really sure about all this.
-
Okay, I'm retarded when it comes to technical stuff like this... I'm running out of virtual memory WAY too fast for my liking... my friend Scott started telling me how to allocate free hard drive space for virtual memory (I have something like 50 gigs-ish that isn't being used right now) but he never finished... so, does anybody here know how to do it? I have Windows Xp, and btw, if you could provide step by step instructions, that would help greatly. As I said, I'm retarded when it comes to stuff like this. EDIT: I have 50.56 GB of free space on my drive.
-
Only if Scott Hall randomly walks by during the segment.

Mark Henry < Shawn Michaels And no, I'm not saying Shawn is better than Mark... I'm actually pantomiming Mark eating Shawn.

Undertaker unhappy because of his HIAC match?
David Blazenwing replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
LMFAO! That's going in my sig. -
WalMart usually couples movie soundtracks of the movie with the DVD, there's a decent chance it could very well be a copy of ThemeAddict or Cena's CD...

Better question... where is Teddy Long? I feel like I haven't seen him in forever, or am I just missing him every week?
