I had a weird thought...since he wasn't around when the Cylons invaded New Caprica, maybe Tom Zarek died when Gina blew up Cloud Nine. Or maybe he and Baltar had a falling out at some point in the year between Baltar's election and the Cylon invasion.

That's such an ignorant comment I don't even know where to begin. Can you think of a grouping that would have exposed both guys worse? Yes. Insert any single guy from tonight's main event against RVD and you'd have gotten a far worse showing. The match wasn't as bad as you're making it out to be.

Wow, the internet really can turn on anyone. I'm not turning on anyone. The match sucked. Everyone more or less knew it would suck going in, and they didn't disprove anything. RVD and shelton shouldn't be depushed over this, but they certainly dont need to face eachother ever again. I was commenting on how everyone made up their minds the match would suck before it even started. Given that as recently as 6 weeks ago Shelton Benjamin was pretty revered around here, and now people are getting pissed off that Shelton's comedy-relief storyline mother isn't making an appearance...I'd certainly call that turning on him.

By the time they all get to the ring, the show will only have 7 minutes left.

Maybe if they didn't have to rush to make room for a John Cena match, it'd have been better.

I'm fairly irritated with the commentary on this match so far, which seems more geared toward getting Ric Flair more over than doing anything to help either of the guys actually in the ring.
