1. I teach special ed. Social Studies. I'm student teaching right now and the mainstreaming thing is fucking me up badly. A couple of the kids in my classes are impossible to even converse with. I'm supposed to somehow teach them history and civics? Mainstreaming should ONLY be used on the kids who can handle it. Districts that think they need to mainstream every single kid, no matter what their level of ability is, need to pull their collective heads out of their asses.

Social Studies at a KC charter school before quitting because the KC school district (the very one you mentioned) was going to take it over. 2. The KCMSD is so inept because administrators are trained to let kids get by with just about anything. The teachers lack leadership from administration, and anyone who tries to fight the system is turned into a political example by the people in charge or the teachers unions.

My personal preference would be for Impact to be on before Raw on Monday nights. TNA just doesn't have the resources to compete head-to-head with WWE.

Given that Edge is, after a first-week misstep, showing he might be a good champ...and given that HHH MUST be in the main event at WM... Has wrestling reached a point where the audience is "smart" enough for a heel vs. heel feud to work? Anybody else get the impression that HHH thinks working a program with Cena is beneath him? (I'm just going on my gut instinct here.)

I'm really looking forward to watching tonight's episode of Raw tomorrow afternoon in fast-forward.

That hasn't happened yet. The show was using the year 2006 for months before the "Return of Optimus Prime" storyline. In a related note, we also lost Starscream last year.

It helps that this was their first match, way before it'd been done to death. WWE could fill a DVD with the matches from these two.

Yeah, the first time I saw the commerical, I was all like "hey, that's kinda cool" until I remembered something. I had no fucking clue who the Black Eyes Peas were or why I would want to listen to the Black Eyed Peas. Turn off the sound and I was sure the Fugees were making a comeback.
