I thought Taz chose to stay in the announce booth instead of facing further injury? I'm not sure myself. I think he started saying that after he realized they weren't going to let him get over the bigger guys and that he'd end up being a jobber. I may be wrong but that's how I remember it.

Unfortunately, all Vince hears is the pop of the crowd when the music hits. I pop only in the sense that it always brings me back to when he was the man. I agree he needs to go.

That would be Rene Goulet. The thing I always found funny about WWF officials is that they always had one guy who would wear white tennis shoes with their dark suit. Pat Patterson did that quite often, with the white shoes and a suit. Quite silly looking.

I hope they don't get too out of hand like the Hardcore title 24-7 thing. I don't want to see Goldberg getting jumped while he's napping or coming out of the shower.

When its time for HHH to come back, a face takes out Goldberg, then gets paid off by HHH. Then later they show the face and Goldberg in a conspiracy and splitting HHH's dough, pissing him off more.

You don't have to be "cocked out of your mind" to be legally drunk. Some people can handle their alcohol just fine but be considered over the limit. And you may feel just fine but impaired enough that your reactions are slowed. Its not worth taking others lives by risking it. And I'd say 90% of people I know risk it. I rarely hear of their being a designated driver.

I can see Hogan coming on with a Sting type deal. He does a match, they tape an interview that gets shown over the next couple months. He gets jobs for Jimmy Hart, Brutus Beefcake, Brian Knobs. Then he tries to get Vince to hire him for WMXX.

The concept isn't a bad idea. The execution is.

The ratings continue to drop... WWE Smackdown finished with a 3.1 rating and a 5 share, down from a 3.2 last week. The 3.1 rating is far below the season average. Obviously WWE did face strong competition with new episodes of Friends and the rest of the NBC comedies, as well as Survivor and CSI on CBS. It should be noted though that Smackdown did a 3.7 last year against the debut of Friends and the other usual competition from NBC and CBS. Credit: 1wrestling.com
