Faced with a choice between certainly being in last and possibly getting lucky and not coming in last, I'd take possibly not last every time. Leaving that Detour was dumb, dumb, dumb. I know Alabama didn't, but I wonder if the Chos and/or Kentucky honestly thought they were going to pull their alliance into the final three. I think they applied for the wrong CBS show.

Looks like the Raiders are going to beat the Steelers on a goal-line stand. That should do it for Pittsburgh's playoff hopes. You're not winning eight or nine in a row if you can't beat Oakland.

Damn. Great game, bad result. The Broncos have got to figure out how to better defend against a good QB. Manning just picked them apart the entire game. The difference was in the second half, they converted yards to TDs. The encouraging thing, though, is that the Denver offence can actually perform when they need to. That should give them confidence heading forward when they have to play the Bengals and Chargers.

I was routinely using between 100-150 MB of RAM when I was running with multiple tabs open in Firefox. Of course, as VX pointed out, IE 7 isn't any better in that regard.

Knowing around where I am in each of the rankings, I knew I wasn't going to move hardly at all. I only lost a couple of rankings in W-L, and I might have even gained in picks against, since I've been dead last for most of the contest. At this point, I really think my best shot at winning is going to be having a lot of 9-9 or 10-10 wins. Continuing to win 9-4 or 9-5 isn't going to get it done. Come on, people, pick better!

Oh, and I'm sure they'll revisit the Gold Glove vote and give it to Eckstein.
