Here's a suggestion...since we're picking the score of each game, not the total, instead of doing total points for each game, why not do difference between the predicted score and the actual score?
For example, using your picks:
Human Fly would win the Baltimore game, with three points difference from the actual score vs. Verne's 6. (Human Fly got Tennessee's score exactly right while missing Baltimore's score by 3; Verne missed both teams' actual score by 3.)
Human Fly would win the Dallas game, with 3 points difference vs. 13.
Verne would win the Seattle game, with 20 points difference vs. 23.
Verne would win the Denver game, with 7 points difference vs. 15.
Hm. Tied.
Anyway...if you're not using the actual score of the game as a tiebreaker, you may as well just ask us to pick totals and be done with it, instead of trying to figure out what the actual score will be.
