  1. If you are not sure, then yes, you are less of a man.
  2. For the parking in two spots thing, I have keyed many cars that have done that. For the not stopping for pedestrians thing, I usually just walk in front of them, assuming they are not going too fast that is.
  3. You don't really think that he's dumb enough to fail a test NOW do you? Seriously he's had plenty of time to heal his knee while his body rids itself of the steroids that he was on. Flaxseed oil indeed.
  4. Why do you say that?
  5. There used to be a movie theater near me that allowed you to bring in your own drinks if they were in a plastic bottle so this is what my buddies and I did. It's decent enough, plus no hangover so that's always good.
  6. To add to that, when a group of people at a sporting event gather in a group in the middle of the hallway to chatter mindlessly, not noticing all the 100s of people trying to get to the concession stands/bathroom during a break in the action. MOVE THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY. I usually just toss a shoulder into one of them hoping they get the hint, if not at least I feel better.
  7. Okay so I'm not big into this show, have watched it a couple times, don't hate it either. Check this out... Last night I went to the bar after my softball game to watch the Pistons game and what do we see? 1/2 of the SPORTS bar was set aside for an AMERICAN IDOL party. What. The. Fuck. People were screaming and yelling all night, and THEY EVEN BROUGHT SIGNS. Yes. Signs for a TV show at the bar. I don't really have a problem with people liking the show, I can see where the entertainment is coming from, but that was just plain pathetic.
  8. They don't play again until SUNDAY? What the fuck is wrong with them? They really really need to do something about that. Why not Saturday? I can understand giving them a day of rest before they fly to Detroit, but 4 days between each game is absurd.
  9. That's exactly what I was saying about Jesse during the fight last night. No heart at all. Seems like if you can withstand his power for a round or two he just gives up. As for the final, I thought that Manfredo had a good fight plan in mucking it up and staying inside of Mora, but Mora was better than he anticipated in that game as well. I was REALLY impressed with Mora's ability to avoid getting caught with power punches despite clowning around and not having his hands up very often. Although I do like Manfredo and think he is a good boxer, he didn't seem to have the strength to put Mora away even when he was connecting. Mora's weakness seems to be his lack of strength. Even when he caught Manfredo with some "strong" punches, they seemed weak, lacking the power to knock (anyone) down. I'd like to see him put on a bit of muscle, not too much as to move up in class, but enough to gain some measure of knockout power. It will be interesting to see what those three (Mora, Manfredo, and Gomez) do in the next couple of years as I think all three have a bright future in boxing.
  10. Do you really think May will go all the way down at 10? Seems to me like he was the best player in the tournament this year, completely unstoppable. Of course he won't be able to bully NBA players like he did in the tourney, but he still showed some nice athleticism and strength in the post. Despite playing for one of my least favorite colleges May was damn fun to watch...
  11. Do you or your father golf? If so do that for father's day, problem solved. Either that or take him to breakfast/lunch.
  12. Well, that's your problem: You should never buy concessions at the movie theatres. Just sneak in some candy and/or cans of soda into the theatre and you'll be fine if you really want something to snack on while watching the movie. Or, I dunno, go 2 hours without eating/drinking something? Is it really that hard to do?
  13. My only problem with the show is that they don't air the entire fights, instead showing bits and pieces to lead you by the nose in one direction, then another. Really annoying. It would be cool if they put out a DVD with all of the fights unedited at some point, I would probably get that. Favorite fights were Manfredo/Gomez I and II, it showed what happens when you underestimate an underdog, and then the result of learning from your mistake. Also, I doubt we have seen the last of Gomez.
  14. Palpatine is now my favorite movie character of all time. I saw the movie Friday and I still can't get over how masterfully he manipulated everyone throughout not just ROTS, but EP I and EP II as well. Dude just owns in every way.
  15. it's not just ticket prices though...I went to see Hitch with my wife (I don't go to the theater often) and it cost us (including a large popcorn and two medium drinks) almost 30 dollars...now imagine if we went to a kid movie with my daughter, there's at least another 10 bucks right there...anymore, why bother going, it's going to be out on DVD in 6 months anyway... Jesus man what time did you go? Try hitting up the matinee showing, $5.50 for ROTS Friday afternoon. That's the only time that I will go to the theater myself.
  16. No, but I would say that most 1st time riders don't buy the kind of motorcycle Winslow did and go do tricks with it. Actually you could say that he was LUCKY instead because the reports said that his helmet wasn't even strapped on and flew off when he fell. Dude is lucky he didn't bust his head open too.
  17. How is Kellen Winslow, Jr. a "hard luck" player?? Sure the leg injury last year sucked, but the whole first time on a bike, riding one of the most powerful bikes available, doing tricks in a parking lot thing has nothing to do with luck, just stupidity.
  18. Getting a back injury from picking up Barkley isn't bad luck, it's just what you get from picking up Barkley. The dude is huge, what was Johnson thinking??
  19. Just wanted to add that I haven't smoked weed in about 9 months and I don't plan on doing so anytime soon.
  20. You seriously don't see the problem? The guy was booked for months in advance. Once that happens, even if you become a "TV star" between the time you are booked and the show, you shouldn't ask for more money. Had he been a "TV star" before he was booked, and nothing was decided on, then and only then should he use the excuse that he's now on WWE TV to get more money. Don't get me wrong, I'd tell him to fuck off too, but what I'm saying is that he is in a much better position now due to appearing on TV as a part of the biggest promotion in the game. It should equal more money. I don't know what he makes in the WWE, but I'd bet that some Indy gig isn't going to touch it, and it makes no sense to risk getting hurt in the Indies just after getting called up to the bigtime when it's for chump change.
  21. No, the ridiculous argument is to assume that legalization won't increase usage considerably. It not being legal makes it more difficult to find than alcohol or cigarettes. Apparently you don't buy much weed. It's not hard to get. It's significantly harder to get than alcohol or tobacco. Says who? Giving more options for intoxication and addiction is not going to come without a price. -=Mike I wouldn't say significantly. Right now I could call up three people that would have however much I wanted to buy. Sure, I can't go to a party store and buy a dimebag, but it's not much different.

  23. The whole "if marijuana was legal abuse would increase by 10x" arguement is flat out wrong. Does anyone who thinks this think that people who want to smoke pot don't do so because it's illegal? If you (whoever) really think that you are seriously deluded.
  24. Well there certainly should be some leeway for things like OTC cold medicines that have banned substances in them. Maybe have the person that is taking said medicine report it to whomever before they take it or something. Seems like a little common sense should be in order there.
  25. I really don't see why people would have a problem with this steroid policy. Here's an idea: Don't cheat.
