  1. Rap died with Jump by Kriss Kross. It will never reach such peaks again. Once music has peaked (especially a peak of that calibre) it is time to move on to something else. Like Baroque.
  2. I prefer your current name. It's not over-the-top silly, it's just out there yet in a strangely subtle manner. I like it, Beef Eater.
  3. Nice Guy Adam, the conservation was along the lines of: Banky: You suck. RoyalBlue: You suck. And this repeated ad nauseum. I should win the following: Smark of the year Most Popular poster Funniest Poster Most Improved Poster of the year Smartest Poster The Smark Hall of Fame (Legendary poster who deserves recognition)
  4. If Zack's going to refuse in singing, I am more than happy to join in. The Waitresses rock.
  5. BUMP~!
  6. No Jim Carrey movie has really appealed to me apart from Truman Show. Robin Williams is far funnier, after all, he was in Mork & Mindy. I'm noticing here from most people more American comedians than British. Why is that, in my opinion the British are far and away funnier than Americans.
  7. Spike Milligan. Once there was an interview of his that I heard. "Once my father woke me in the middle of the night, shook me awake. He said 'Son, there's something important I have to tell you. I've never shot a bear before.' I said 'It's 2:30 in the morning, why did you wake me just to tell me that?' And he said 'Well, I had to tell someone, didn't I?'" Great stuff, great man. The Python Team: Enough said.
  8. I said if anyone nominated The Blues Brothers it would be included as a musical (in case there was a mixup as to what's a musical and what isn't), but nobody actually went and nominated it.
  9. MrZsasz, those episodes aren't in the tournament because (ironically enough) nobody nominated them. Here are my votes: Funny Face (1957) The Sound Of Music Beauty And The Beast (1991) Pink Floyd: The Wall West Side Story Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory A Star Is Born (1954) Rocky Horror Picture Show My Fair Lady A Hard Day's Night The Wizard Of Oz Duck Soup Guys And Dolls Jesus Christ Superstar Seven Brides For Seven Brothers Going My Way Chicago Singin' In The Rain Purple Rain A Night At The Opera South Park: Bigger, Longer And Uncut Evita Fantasia Footloose The Producers Top Hat 8 Mile Cabaret Mary Poppins Help! Moulin Rouge!
  10. All vocal groups are boy bands? Even The Supremes?
  11. After much delay (I apologise), the Musical Tournament will now begin. It should be noted this is random, and the pairing of Cannibal and South Park is completely accidental. Funny Face (1957) Jailhouse Rock You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown The Sound Of Music Beauty And The Beast (1991) Xanadu Robin And The 7 Hoods Pink Floyd: The Wall Dancer In The Dark West Side Story Royal Wedding Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs Brigadoon Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory A Star Is Born (1954) Sun Valley Serenade Fiddler On The Roof Rocky Horror Picture Show Finian's Rainbow My Fair Lady A Hard Day's Night Oklahoma! The Musical South Park: Bigger, Longer And Uncut Evita Little Shop Of Horrors Fantasia Paint Your Wagon The Music Man Footloose Tommy The Producers Godspell Top Hat Holiday Inn 8 Mile Cabaret Annie Mary Poppins Newsies Grease Help! Moulin Rouge! Hedwig And The Angry Inch Happy voting! (no, that's not a movie selection)
  12. Finding Nemo should've been in there too.
  13. Are The Monkees a boy band? Because nobody insults The Monkees. And Wet Wet Wet.
  14. Season Four did have Riley shoved down our throats, but it also introduced Spike and Anya as mains. Plus it had Restless too.
  15. Yeah, and seeing as how the mods are thinking about eliminating post counts, I doubt they'd give privileges to those with higher post counts, as that'd be pretty counter-productive.
  16. In Cerebus's sig it says 'Cerebus 3:16 says "This aardvark has just kicked your ass"' or something to that extent. That says to me it is Cerebus The Aardvark. Abobo is good, but that last post was a little lacking and I think he needs to do something to freshen himself up and bring something new to the character.
  17. I do recall a Cerebus The Aardvark from quite some time ago. He's back, I guess.
  18. While I personally think the cast looks great and I doubt Nolan could get this wrong, how many Batman movies have dealt with the villains being the ones who killed his parents? I understand this is a different franchise, but it's going to cause confusion by people who think Joker/Two-Face killed his parents, plus it plain lacks in originality (unless they can do something special with it).
  19. Those columns were awesome, Phantman. Absolutely flawless. I actually think Czech Republic's idea as a writing in general forum is quite good, and maybe if it had been proposed to Dames rather than suddenly posted there it might have worked. I think it should be put into consideration for here though.
  20. If Game really did things this creepy to posters here, why wasn't he banned any earlier? Actions like finding out where those nearest and dearest to you live etc. is just slightly disturbing. When he did this didn't anyone think of reporting it to the mods? Even though it's not on the board, it is related and that is seriously sick behaviour.
  21. Throatwobbler Mangrove. He's the epitome of awesome (hey, I just rhymed!)
  22. I take you up on that, Nevermortal. Name them all.
  23. I'm suprised that Born In The USA got in there. Look at the rest of the albums on the list, it seems very out of place. There are a lot of artists missing. REM?
  24. I'd just like to add two instrumentals which make my list. They were both on a Beatles tribute album which came out a few years ago. Jeff Beck - A Day In The Life. The guitar sounds so amazing in it. Vanessa Mae - Because. She did really well with it. That same album also has Celine Dion doing Here, There And Everywhere which is, to this date, the best song she has ever done (except for maybe Think Twice).
  25. I'm Brian!
