  1. I just wanted to make sure of using the correct secret word. Perhaps the new one should be artichoke?
  2. How the hell is that justice served? The guy freaking died. Nothing justifies that. He stole a car, he didn't eradicate millions of Jews in the Holocaust. He probably would have been caught by the police and appropriately punished. To be killed is not an appropriate punishment.
  3. This is like Mission To 1000, except without the advancement in post counts. I'm like a guy who states the obvious all the time, except for when I don't.
  4. Well this thread has picked up since I was last here. Actually, I think it's gone downhill like an out of control unicycle that's just run over a banana peel.
  5. They've closed all Boston Markets in this city except for one. I have a friend who worked at Boston Market and he's out of a job now. They just really didn't take off here. Which is a shame because I liked their cornbread.
  6. If it is not too late I want to change my name back to the name I had of yore: spiny norman I have not been digging Throatwobbler Mangrove as much, plus it is annoying should I have to log back in with it because it's too bloody long. Gracias.
  7. It may be one of the best songs ever, but my song is undoubtedly the best. Unique II - Break My Stride.
  8. ^ is Prince Paul.
  9. Somebody was just telling me that there's a new medical breakthrough where they believe if you inject a melanoma with the cold virus the cold virus will kill it. It will also go around the body and kill any other cancers in there. Mind you, you'll be left with a nasty cold afterwards. So maybe this treatment will turn out to be effective and be available for you Rico should you have cancer and it be malignant and if you have melanoma (but perhaps they will find other ways of getting the cold virus treating cancers). I also heard that they may have found a breakthrough in miscarriage research and it too could be cured within the decade. I think I am now in awe of medical research.
  10. Yes, it is a little bit of a melodramatic title. I saw it first and thought that some great actor/actress/director had died in some terrible accident. I am greatly relieved. This news does not bother me.
  11. For one moment there I read Wilco and thought Falco. It's true either way though.
  12. CWM, you're the fifth biggest post count. 1. Choken One 2. Anglesault 3. "Hail" bps21 4. bob barron 5. CWM 6. Kotzenjunge 7. razazteca 8. Tony149 9. LaParkaYourCar 10. Downhome
  13. That's wrong now? Oh, and I agree with what you were saying before about inappropriate smilies. That really gets to me.
  14. Kylie Minogue did a really good cover of Give Me Just A Little More Time in the early 90s. I find it odd that the title says "top ten love songs" yet nobody's given ten. 10. John Lennon - Woman 9. U2 - All I Want Is You 8. Prince - Diamonds And Pearls 7. The Beatles - Something 6. Paul McCartney - Maybe I'm Amazed 5. Dire Straits - Romeo & Juliet 4. Billy Joel - She's Always A Woman 3. The Pretenders - I'll Stand By You 2. Madonna - Crazy For You 1. John Lennon - Jealous Guy
  15. I have the 304th biggest post count. How underwhelming. And this can't even be a +1
  16. But I think there's something about Hugh Grant that makes him un-hateable. Bridget Jones's Diary was also something a bit different for him, because he was a complete arsehole in that one. And his performance in Four Weddings And A Funeral was really likeable. What about John Wayne? He's considered to be a legend, yet he rarely strayed from the character whom he was portraying.
  17. And then Goldberg would punch through the window to pull him out.
  18. I love being in the Southern Hemisphere. 30+ degrees, I don't know what that is in your stupid inferior Farenheit. Nearing 100, I guess.
  19. I also have a joke, which will hopefully create much mirth in this thread. There were three men sitting in a bar. The first one said "I'm so upset. I went through my fifteen year old daughter's things and I found half a bottle of vodka. I didn't even know she drank!" The second man said "I know exactly what you mean. I found in my fifteen year old daughter's room a packet of cigarettes. I didn't even know she smoked!" The third man said "Yeah. I went through my fifteen year old daughter's belongings and found a condom. I didn't even know she had a cock!" The joke of course, belies in that she doesn't have a penis at all.
  20. I don't want to seem as Johnson's saviour, but isn't he married?
  21. Neither here nor there.
  22. I didn't see anything special about Sandler's performance in Punch-Drunk Love. There were things about that movie I really loved, Emily Watson mainly. But Sandler's performance and Philip Seymour Hoffman (whom I normally think was brilliant) both really irritated me to the point where I didn't particularly like that movie. I liked The Wedding Singer. That was the first Adam Sandler movie I ever saw and so it wasn't until after that I realised just how atrocious he is. But because I had no other perception of him for that film I really loved it.
  23. Okay, all I got was a red cross from you Johnson. But: a) How can you make judgements about how his relationships are. Just because it is online does not mean that you can be certain it is any less important than other friendships one has with people. Not everyone's the same. b) The fact that a friend of his died would probably add to his being upset, just a tad. Yes, his statement that you have no friends was arrogant and there are times when I empathise with you when everyone's being an arsehole to you, but you hardly won yourself over to anyone with that post. I am sorry to hear about the death, CWM.
  24. Oh, the post magically appeared. Okay then, nevermind me.
