  1. I had been using SoulSeek to download music, but for the past few weeks, it's been taking 20 minutes+ to download a song that should take 30 seconds (I have a 1.5 Mbps DSL connection). Are there any decent programs other than torrents that anyone would recommend? I'm wanting to listen to some albums that are on sale this week before deciding whether or not to buy them.
  2. The only thing stopping me from ordering the PPV is the fact that it will be out on DVD for $15 2 weeks after it airs.
  3. Somewhat off topic, but Exslade, that is the best avatar ever.
  4. That was fucking awesome. If I still lived in Illinois, i would be there now, too. Even though it fucks Smackdown hard, I marked out like a bitch. I know I'm late and someone has probably said it already, but Batista has to switch shows on the last night of the draft (night after Vengeance) at the Raw/SD supershow in Anaheim, which I will be attending.
  5. Is the one on the left supposed to be Ulala from the Dreamcast game (later released in expanded form on PS2), Space Channel 5?

  7. *Waits for "This Thread is Ghey"* Sorry, Hitlist. It's not usually this bad. Oh, and welcome to the board.
  8. 6-7 days for me.
  9. I'm eating a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese.
  10. I don't believe there are any real "pansies" who wrestle professionally. A person has to have a good amount of toughness to take bumps night in and night out. That person might get his or her ass kicked in a real fight, but that doesn't mean they're not tough.
  11. The fact that an activity takes a lot of skill to fare well in does not make it a sport.
  12. Papa Joe's rocks. Pizza and cheap pitchers of beer? Fuck yeah.
  13. Pff. AoO brought it up the first time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That, and the fact that (A) I have used DXM before, and (B) if something happened to me, it would be no one's fault but my own.
  14. So guests can post here now, eh?
  15. Definitely. The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom were my favorite tag team growing up, and are at least in my all time top 5 to this day. If only I still had my foam spiked LOD shoulderpads...
  16. Maybe they figured that "deep pockets" means the person likes to spend a lot, so "Deep Throat" would mean that the person likes to talk a lot, since the vocal cords are located in the general "throat" area.... Yeah. I had never even heard of "Deep Throat" until they mentioned the guy on Pardon the Interruption yesterday.
  17. I liked it. I used to be a big fan of 311, , but their last couple albums were kind of "meh". They were pretty good when I saw them at the Warped Tour a few years abck, though. Hopefully the album will turn out okay. My birthday is on July 30th, and I'll probably end up buying quite a few CDs with the cash I'll get.

  19. Don't make me bring back the Ashlee Simpson ensemble.
  20. I don't usually start birthday threads, but here's my second in 2 days. Come on... I have to acknowledge the birthday of a fellow Packers fan. Happy 25th birthday, Kahran Rasmus.
  21. What the... wow. I certainly didn't expect to see this when I signed on today. I appreciate the concern and I'm sorry if I caused some people to worry, but I'm alive. I read various reports of individuals who safely consumed the same exact thing I did. Also, I made sure to calculate the levels of DXM and acetaminophen I was taking in. I'm ingested a lot more acetaminophen in the past than I did yesterday. I'm not saying it's a good idea; not in the slightest. However, in my later teen years, I took a shitload of hydrocodone with acetaminophen and survived. Back then, I was really depressed and didn't give a fuck if I died. I even chased the pills with a quarter gallon or more of vodka on more than one occasion. Really, this was nothing compared to that. I actually had a really good trip that lasted approximately 6 hours. After I started to come down, fatigue set in heavily and I fell asleep, which is why i wasn't online at all. I feel fine today... still a little tired, with fleeting nauseous feelings, but otherwise, I'm good to go. I probably won't robo-trip again for a while, and next time, it will be with an acetaminophen free formula. So... how is everyone on this lovely June morning?
  22. After 3 hours of deliberation (well, mostly internet and video game related distraction, I just drank the whole bottle in 2 big gulps. My condition: 125 pounds or so, have barely slept in 2 weeks, have been up for previous 3 days sans a 3 hour nap. According to the mg/kg formula on Erowid, the dosage combined with my weight results in a 5.2 mg/kg ratio, with 2.5-7.5 mg/kg being typical for the second plateau. I was hoping for 3rd, but I high 2nd plateau trip should be fun and will help prepare me for a possible visit to P3 in the future, since I have only tried DXM maybe 3 times before, with the last time being a year and a half ago at the very least. My delirium combined with the DXM should make for an interesting combination. As always (sober or not), I have hundreds of good video games ready (I'm feelin' old school 2D Sonic today) as well as lots of music and some good DVDs. I'll also be on AIM (if I can get it to work) if anyone wants to fuck with me.
  23. Me? No wife-beater or tough guy attitude, but I have the height and weight down.
  24. 150 pounds at 5'8" is far from scrawny. I was 175 pounds at that height and I was told by the doctor that I was 35 pounds overweight. It wasn't muscle, either, I had a big gut and such. Not a big deal, nor is it truly relevant, but I felt the need to mention that.
  25. I'm seriously considering drinking the contents (7/8 full, estimated) of this bottle of Vicks 44, but I'm not sure that the trip (if any) would be worth it. Stats: DXM- 7.5 mg per 5 mL teaspoon. Total size of bottle (remember, it's not full)- 8 fluid ounces, or 236 mL. Also, there is 162.5 mg of acetaminophen per 5 mL. Shit.
