  1. Really? I hadn't seen him around, but he was active 2 weeks ago. I can't fucking keep track of all these posters leaving and such. Somehow, I end up missing all the major departures.
  2. Happy 19th birthday to Corey Lazarus. Is he still around? Also, Corey, I bought Shadows Fall- The War Within Collector's Edition when it was released because of your pimping of the band, and the CD/DVD set was only 8 bucks. I meant to start a thread about the album, but I forgot. It's pretty good compared to most recent "metal".
  3. Since I've seen talk of board mergers in several other threads, why not post all suggestions here for quick reference? I personally don't care if any boards are merged or not, but if the admins are wanting to "trim the fat" so to speak, here are a few quick and probably obvious suggestions I just came up with after looking over the board for 10 seconds: - General Wrestling and Misc. Promotions should be merged. They're basically the same thing anyway, right? Maybe Puro, too, since no one posts there. Throw in Tape Trading since it's not used enough to warrant its own dedicated forum. That's 4 down to 1 right there. Eh... that's really all I see that would help. I figured I'd have more suggestions, but that's a start.
  4. Holy shit, LANCE STORM?! As a Lance fanatic, I was hoping he'd come out to confront Jericho on their match at One Night Stand, but I didn't expect him to actually have a match. I'm 99.99999999% sure, however unfortunate, that Storm's match was most likely a dark match rather than a bout that will be aired on Heat. As for the rest, I recommend making a note of the Teddy Hart vs. Harry Smith match. Bret Hart's nephew (I think) vs. British Bulldog's son. As a bigtime Hart Foundation mark, I'd love to see those two feud on WWE TV down the line.
  5. Looks great. The E3 demo was good enough for me, someone who was indifferent to Sonic, to want to own the game, and Rush (along with other titles) made the DS my #1 most wanted system. The dual screen gameplay was flawlessly executed, and the game was just plain fun. I've actually decided to play through my old Sonic games while waiting for Rush. That pretty much limits it to Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast) and Sonic 2 (Genesis) since I can't find my Game Gear, but there are emulators for all the Genesis games, and I could always pick up the Sonic Mega Collection Plus fon Xbox for $20.
  6. Based on last year's roster, only P.J. Brown survived the season unscathed. Magloire (82 games played last year, 23 this year) was out for nearly four months, and three of their starters from last season were gone before they could contribute this year (Davis, Wesley, Lynch, Armstrong to a smaller extent). It was a complete turn-over with Dickau, Nailon, Claxton and Smith - three unproven players and a rookie - taking those spots. It's a product of bad management over bad play. Thanks for filling me in. Obviously, I don't really follow the Hornets, and I maybe saw 1 of their games all year, so this is news to me. I can see how the new roster combined with facing more Western Conference opposition could cause them to end up with that dreadful record.
  7. Juanes is the hispanic Maroon 5... not that that's a bad thing.
  8. Wow. That's about the funniest thing I've ever imagined. I was going to go see this anyway since it has football, wrestling, and Adam Sandler, but now there's no excuse.
  9. LOL... When the Hornets relocated to the Western Conference, everyone was saying they'd be out of the playoffs. I knew it'd be tougher to make it in the West, but I don't think anyone expected an Eastern Conference playoff team to drop to the second worst record in the league, behind even Charlotte's new expansion team, the Bobcats.
  10. No. The MVP is based on regular season accomplishments, period. Some of the best players in the league don't make the playoffs. If Kevin Garnett had a season like he did last year, would you begrudge him the award since he missed the playoffs? What if the Heat didn't make it this year, or the Spurs? Or what if Shaq or Duncan bombed in the playoffs? That wouldn't take away from their individual regular season achievements. VX- I believe that Phoenix can win a game or two. Then again, I had hoped/expected that they would win game 2 or 3, and that the series would go 6 or 7 games anyway. But as good as the Spurs are at home, most teams win 1 or 2 games after falling behind 3-0 when they get this deep into the playoffs.
  11. http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/20050525_heidenreich2.jsp I sent in my pic.
  12. What is J*Wing, exactly? I've gathered that it's an unofficial TSM offshoot, but who started it, and why? Whomever it was probably doesn't like me anyway, but I figured I'd inquire.
  13. Awesome. I don't know about you, but despite the 5-6 hours of makeup which would suck, I'd rather be a zombie. Moaning and eating flesh + a likely gruesome fat= instant win. I need to get in on some Hollywood productions while I'm out here. I always see ads for extras, and I could always play Bud Bundy in a parody porn.... Hmmm....
  14. Quoted for agreement.
  15. As I said, I don't like realistic racers normally, so I haven't played any GT games since #2, and I don't have a PS2 anyway. Maybe someone else here can tell you, but every review I've read states that Forza is at least on par with GT4. Forza, however, has actual damage (detailed enough so that the paint color that shows up on your car after a run-in with an opponent matches the color of the opponent's car) and online play, which should be a big plus if you're into that sort of thing like I am.
  16. Come on, now. I know more of you motherfuckers like cars. Kotz? For a game that was hyped as a Gran Turismo 4 killer, and the reviewers agree that it does top GT4 or at least equals it, I expected a lot more responses. I got at least 20 at the other 3 boards I posted at about the game. There must be someone. I want to race other TSM members online.
  17. Wait... When did I post this shit?
  18. Y'all can't step to this.
  19. I thought everyone already knew about this. Still, new Fire Pro= orgasm.
  20. Eh, I like them. I've been a longtime EGM reader, and I haven't missed an issue since #99 (October 1997), and Gam Informer is the only other gaming magazine I've bothered reading regularly. That's got to count for something.
  21. Yeah, what is the deal with that? Mine has that logo, yet I bought the game a weerk after its release. And please, don't bring up the Game Informer review. They're usually a good magazine, but that pissed me off. I love the Paper Mario games. Part 1 got me into RPGs, and PM2 is the second best game on the GameCube after Tales of Symphonia. It's an awesome 30-35 hour adventure. It's well worth $50, so at this price, you can't go wrong.
  22. "Scott Keith" is no longer filtered.
  23. I'm like a lot of people. I used to loathe Bradshaw and I was literally sick to my stomach when he beat Eddie for the title, but around Survivor Series, I started warming up to the guy. Since then, I have accepted him as a main eventer, and eventually as WWE Champion. His improvement (overall, not specifically in-ring) has bene astronomical. I still wish he would have used a kayak again in Sunday's I Quit match.
  24. I want to be locked in a recording studio with Agent of Oblivion, a variety of musical instruments and related equipment, and an unlimited supply of alcohol and hallucinogenic drugs, and see what happens.
  25. You know, if E3 hadn't already ended, I would've thought this was yet another new Mario game (I love 'em all, though).
