  1. How did the show come off liev, Carnival? It was entertaining to watch on TV, but there was more non-wrestling stuff than actual in-ring action, which might not be so great at the arena.
  2. Nope... They are covers, just like in the first game. Not even Good Charlotte's songs are the originals, which surprised me since they're in the commercial.
  3. Wow... That ending was surreal. I knew the finish was coming, but after the match.... Damn, that was hot. I love Matt Hardy, but I've been a fan of Edge for a longer time. I loathe Edge and Lita for their actions toward Matt, but Edge is still one of my favorite wrestlers, I'd still fuck the shit out of Lita, and I'd love to see Edge win the World Title. In other news.... I attended WrestleMania 21 in L.A. just a month and a half ago. Now, this was announced tonight. WWE RAW & SMACKDOWN! SUPERSHOW Date: 06/27/2005 Time: 5:30 p.m. Venue: Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim City/State: Anaheim, California On-Sale Date: Saturday, May 21st to 10 a.m. Ticket Information: Box Office, All Ticketmaster Outlets, www.ticketmaster.com Ticket Prices: $40, $30, $25, $20 Charge-by-Phone: (714) 740-2000 Event Notes: Catch the first ever RAW & SmackDown! Supershow in Southern California! In Illinois, we were lucky to get 1 house show a year that came to Springfield. Out here, there are televised shows every few months! I love California! Hopefully I'll get front row or close to it (facing the hard camera) so I can bring a forum-related sign .
  4. Before revisions, I was considering listing REmake and RE4 in addition to the ones I did include, RE2 and Code; Veronica. I do agree on the Mortal Kombat games, though. They haven't withstood the test of time well, although Trilogy probably was the pinnacle of the series. And please, never mention War Gods again. Worst Christmas present ever.
  5. I was quite shocked to see that no one had created a thread about this game. I figured that with the great reviews from sites, magazines, and the general public alike, there would be someone here who would have this game. I've always preferred arcade racing games to realistic ones, but I couldn't help but pick this game up. Half of my Live friends are hardcore obsessed with the game, and even though I suck at realistic racing games, the extensive customization options and online play made it worth acquiring for me. It didn't hurt that I took advantage of GameRush's trade in deals where I could get an extra $5 per game when I traded in 3 or more titles, as well as any new release for $29.99 when trading in 2 games. I traded in 5 sports games that I got for a dollar each, and got the $30 something in credit to get Forza. $5 for Forza... How could I pass that up. I won't be playing til after Raw tonight, but I've been enjoying reading the GameFAQs Forza board and threads at other forums, and I'm geeked about this game. Who else has it? If anyone here does own the game, please feel free to show off any pimped out rides you have designed.
  6. It's official. A member of my friend's crew wasn't able to make the trip, and due to my close proximity, I get to attend Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. First WrestleMania 21, now E3. I fucking love living near L.A. Part of my duty there will be to take pictures (especially of booth babes- it was requested) so, provided everything works out okay, I should have some good shit for you guys this weekend.
  7. Back in September, I started a thread about the original Donkey Konga which got about 7 responses. Hopefully this one will be more successful. I loved the first DK, and despite songs that seemed, well, gay, the game was highly addicting, especially with multiple players. This newest version has a more "contemporary" (I.E. MTV-centric) song selection, and although I haven't played enough to tell if it's better than the first, it is really good and was well worth using my Wal-Mart gift card on. Plus I got an extra set of bongos, which increases the fun factor exponentially since I don't have to take turns with my friends. Has anyone else picked the game up yet?
  8. I want to hear about that, too. A back body drop is hard enough to pull off on someone who's not cooperating, especially without injury. Shit, a properly delivered back body drop hurts badly enough in an actual ring.
  9. Complain to them about how disappointed you are with your online experience until they offer you another couple months free.
  10. It all comes down to personal preference, since most Mega Man games are indeed very similar. When trying to decide on a Mega Man game to list, I played through 1-7 on the Anniversary Collection, and MM3 remained the top choice for me.
  11. I chose Mega Man 3 because it was both the most challenging and the most fun game for me in the series. I also listed ESPN NFL 2K5 since it tops all previous entries in the 2K series, and I chose the Xbox version due to voice chat support and the fluidity of broadband play on Xbox Live.
  12. I don't have any pictures. I forgot to bring my camera. I have a few on my cell phone, but I'm not sure how to get those uploaded onto here. Lunchbox and Rick took a fair amount of pictures and videos, though, so I'm going to try to get a hold of those. I could use some pics for my profile on My Space anyway.
  13. Imports weren't eligible? I guess I missed that part, because in addition to FPD, I listed the Dreamcast Japanese version of Capcom vs. SNK 2 (there was no US version on DC) because I felt that it was superior to the "EO" versions released on the newer consoles.
  14. After viewing your pictures, your condemnation of Slug smoking weed befuddles me even further.
  15. I signed up a few months ago. Aside from a couple blog entries in recent weeks, I haven't done much with the profile. I've been meaning to get pics up, but I haven't taken any recently. I have found former classmates, bandmates, etc. so that is pretty cool, but I haven't bothered trying to find people in my area.
  16. Boasting? That's pretty stupid. I wasn't boasting. I certainly didn't do much of note. I simply witnessed things. I decided to post this because I actually have something interesting to say for a change, not because I want to seem "cool". Fuck that shit. I'm sure that many of you have had more memorable moments than that, and potentially hearing your stories was the main reason I posted this thread.
  17. With its rarity, I doubt many people here have even played Suikoden II. I haven't. I've also barely played more than a few hours into any of the Final Fantasy games and I don't even own a PS2, which should explain the lack of titles on my list for that system.
  18. I listed 2 sports games and 2 wrestling agmes. I also listed GTA III (Xbox version) but only at #29. I love sports games myself. I always have. I also accidentally listed Mario Kart: Double Dash!! twice. #23 should have been Super Mario Kart. I'm surprised that no one has disputed my listing of Oregon Trail.
  19. As you can see, I ranked Halo 2 quite highly, 90% due to it being one of the, if not the, most addicting games ever when playing on Xbox Live. I can't believe I forgot Conker's Bad Fur Day! And no, I did not forget Super Mario 64. It's a very good game, but is also incredibly overrated.
  20. After last night's events, I decided to create a topic where we can discuss our crazist parties or party moments. Some stories have the potential to be entertaining, I'm sure. My story about last night's party is only a slightly edited version of a PM I sent to supadupacheap, so I'm sorry if it's hard to read. My friends who won the official party house are getting evicted today, which is why we planned on one big, final bash last night. ------------------------------------------ For reference, the people who lived in the house are Kelly, Ryan, Josh, Melissa, and Travis. Melissa and Travis are dating. At first, it was just me, Kelly, Kelly's brother Byron, Josh, Lunchbox, and about 5 other people. We were playing some GameCube to pass the time until the womenfolk (hopefully) arrived, and after some Soul calibur, we threw in Donkey Konga 2, which had just arrived from Gamefly. Veronica (the girl I'm kinda involved with) and 2 other girls walked in in the middle of the first song, and we shut it off, embarrassed. For a while, everyone was having a good time, just doing the type of stuff people usually do at parties. We had the keg and a few bottles of hard liquor. I hadn't eaten all day and I didn't want to be trashed since Veronica was there, so I only had about 5 shots and 5 beers. Some people, however, got waaaaaaaaaay too drunk. Josh got trashed and got all pissed off, and he walked down the street and punched out a church window. He's so going to hell. He then came back home and, after punching the wall a couple times, backed up and rammed his whole ing head through the wall, so we could see into the kitchen. In the meantime, Connor had collected several palm trees from the neighborhood to decorate the living room with. Eric, this Mitsurugi (Soul Calibur) looking guy with long black hair, went totally insane at this point. (Yes, the girls were still there, but they were watching in astonishment). For reference, he once drank an entire bottle of tequila including the worm, went crazy, started yelling about how "Coronado and those fucking Spaniards took all the land" from his people, and he flipped over a table and broke a few things. This time, he took the palm trees and chucked them into the wall, not penetrating it, but making some bigass holes. I then headed outside for a cigarette, and right after that, Melissa and Travis showed up, with Ryan coming soon after. They were understandably livid, and a few fights almost broke out before Melissa called the cops, which freaked me out since I'm not going to be 21 for a couple months. Ryan wasn't angry, but he has a warrant out for his arrest, so he bolted. I managed to talk to the cops and they left without doing much of anything. Veronica and most of the other girls left . The remaining people had a few beers and relaxed, until Eric, who was super pissed at Melissa and Travis, decided to piss on their bed. As if that wasn't bad enough, there was a picture of Kelly's daughter on the bed which got soaked. Kelly had had enough, and kicked everyone out. So I arrived home at 3:30 AM, having not slept for 2 days, and I was pretty sober. The night may not have ended well, but I definitely have some memories that will last a while.
  21. I don't see why Kotz and Flik deserve to be on the list. A couple months ago, I would have been a top vote-getter. Now I'm not on the list, nor have I been mentioned as a write-in candidate. Hmph.
  22. When was the chat?
  23. It's still too early to say that as far as I'm concerned. The Orioles could easily drop into 3rd place before long. They ar elooking good thus far, however. I'm not just trying to bash the O's either. I mean, look at the Dodgers after their great start. Also, I'm still more than half expecting the White Sox to go into a funk soon and concede the division race by the All-Star break despite only being behind by 5 games or fewer. Can't break tradition.
  24. Holy shit. San Diego just scored 10 fucking runs in the bottom of the 7th against the Marlins. And after a solo homer by Adam Laroche just as I was typing that last sentence, the Braves extend their lead over the Dodgers to 4-2. All that combined with the fact that the Padres are only 1/2 game back of LA after winning 12 of 15, and this is not looking good.
  25. I think anyone who has read more than a couple posts I've made here will already be able to guess my #1. I'm also expecting to read everyone else's lists and find at least one game on each that will make me ask, "How the hell did I forget that one?"
