  1. Legos Star Wars and Jade Empire shipped yesterday, although I'm not sure I should play through Lego since it will likely spoil parts of Episode III.... I also have Unreal Championship 2, Star Wars: Episode III ROTS, Donkey Konga 2, Doom 3, and a few others which I'm forgetting ready to ship as soon as I send either or both of the first games back. Did nobody else get in on the deal?
  2. If Minnesota trades Garnett, I will revoke my Timberwolves fandom. Garnett should retire in Minnesota, and that's all there is to it. The team was the #1 seed last year They don't need a complete upheaval.
  3. Fuck YouSendIt. I've never used it before, but now that I'm trying to upload the PPV file, I've had this message on my screen for 10 minutes or more: Sending your file. Please stand by. Note: Don't close this page or browse away while the YouSendIt progress bar is being displayed above. You'll see a confirmation screen when your file has been successfully sent. Keep in mind that a one megabyte (1MB) file can take 1 to 5 minutes to send depending on your connection speed.
  4. That's all it takes? I wish women were so easy to please. You're all welcome, but I didn't do anything more than share the link I was given. Also, I now know what CronoT feels like when he posts a topic. 7 replies, 353 views. As for re-uploading it, I'm attempting that now.
  5. A generous friend at another board has sent me a link to a download of Backlash rom last night. It's not zipped, so it'll take roughly 30 minutes if you have a 1.5 Mbps DSL connection like I do, or something similar, but hey, it's a free PPV. http://s38.yousendit.com/e.aspx?id=09H8SAF...U802NIX4D2OBFJ9 Enjoy.
  6. Indeed. They could air a house show match each week on the WWE Experience. I'd actually watch the show then. They could give a decent chunk of time to a couple midcarders who can work quality matches, or maybe put a midcard guy against a main eventer or upper carder and allow them to have a decent showing before losing. The possibilities are limitless.
  7. People will probably hate my list most since it'll likely include 1 or 2 wrestling games. Since I've just seen everyone throwing around ideas and I'm not sure who's "in charge" (if anyone) what do I need to do and when do I need to have it completed by? I'm guessing I'm supposed to list my top 30 games of all-time with a paragraph or so write-up explaining why they deserve to be there, correct? If so, is that it?
  8. I may have mentioned this before, but while Ocarina is probably my favorite game ever, I loathed Majora's Mask when it was released in 2000. I don't have the cart anymore, sadly, but I do have the game on the Zelda Collector's Edition, and it's one I've been meaning to try again to see if I misjudged it originally. There are, however, a lot of people who like MM more than Ocarina.
  9. I know I'm a little late, but is there any chance I could get in on this?
  10. 05-10-00 - WCW Thunder - Chris Candido pinned Crowbar after a top-rope headbutt. I was there live in Springfield, and I was on camera most of the night. That was also the night that Goldberg's monster truck crushed Rick Steiner's car, Vampiro (whom I met) stole Sting's crow, and Buff Bagwell was arrested after the show, which I witnessed.
  11. Heh, I thought only Downhome and I went there.
  12. That took place in my friend Jessica's (1997 Miss New Mexico) hometown. I'll have to ask her about that later today during Halo 2 clan practice.
  13. I buy used games, but not very often as I am very praticular about game and box conditions. I like to keep all my games, DVDs, and CDs (along with their cases) flawless. Besides, newer titles only go for about $5 cheaper used. Thank God for CheapAssGamer.com. Out of my 18 Xbox games, I don't think I've paid more than $30 for any of them, and they're mostly newer releases. Older titles, such as KOTOR, I got for $5 new and sealed. Plus they have people who work at every store that sells games, just about, and they have ads and sales (whether advertised or not) posted a week or two in advance.
  14. They haven't made a good one that I've heard yet. Also, I would do Britney AND her sister.
  15. How can nobody have mentioned Southern California? Not just LA, but the whole area has some great rock bands. And those who don't originate from down here, come here. Hell, I always wanted to move near LA to attempt to further my music career. *wishes he had a working guitar amp*
  16. I love the new System of a Down song. I don't know the name, but it's their latest single/video and it's not "Cigaro". I've always loved their music, but this song is just so awesomely catchy. The riff is simple yet spectacular, and the vocals are great. I can't wait for the new album. Matt Fact: Matt's ex-fiancee Mandy used to play SOAD songs really loud during sex so the fat roommate who never got laid wouldn't hear her moaning.
  17. Same. I had a full beard when I was 12. Somehow, despite being 5'8" and 125-130 pounds, I have a ridiculously deep voice and I have hair everywhere but my back. Crazy testosterone. Also, Harold and Kumar is indeed one of the best stoned movies out there. I wanna ride a fuckin' cheetah.
  18. For some reason, I don't rent games anymore. I'll pick up one a month with my free rental cards for each month at Hollywood Video, which I got from buying my Xbox at GameCrazy. But for some reason, I don't play games that I rent very much. I guess part of me is afraid I'll enjoy it, get halfway through it, and have to take it back, thus tainting the experience if I buy the game. However, this GameFly deal is nice because I can try out games I'm iffy on, such as Doom 3, Unreal Championship 2, and Jade Empire. Also, I can probably complete the short games and then, if they're really good, buy them later on when the price drops (I.E. Jade Empire again, Star Wars: Republic Commando, Lego Star Wars). Too bad the mailman doesn't bring the mail to our front door, though, so I can't imitate the commercial.
  19. I have a great idea: Only run ads for the show.... during the show!
  20. It says 2-4 days for me, and they ship from Inglewood, so it'll probably be closer to 2 days than 4.
  21. Credit: Cheapy D of CheapAssGamer.com http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-1312731-10386046 Get 30 days of GameFly free. Offer expires April 30th. Maximum 2 games rented at one time. I just got in on this. The normal trials last I believe 7 days, so this is a great deal. I mean, come on... It's free games for a month.
  22. That somewhat answers a question for me, and brings back a memory of an event that no one is likely to recall. I remember back when Flair was leading the short-lived Magnificent Seven group, it was shortly after Sin 2001 and Flair came out (I believe he was commissioner or president) to announce Scott Steiner's opponent for the World Title match at SuperBrawl Revenge. The man Flair announced? "The great German competitor... ALEX WRIGHT!!!" *Flair dances* Then Kevin Nash came out and jack-knifed Wright off the stage. I guess that was a rib on Flair's backing of Wright as a potential Horseman member.
  23. How about we don't?
  24. No, it wasn't. Foley said so much in his first book. I'll try to find the exact quote, since I have my wrestling book collection right next to me. The fall through the cage was planned in his match with Triple H at No Way Out 2000, but not in the match with Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998.
  25. In addition to the blank screen issue, up until a few minutes ago, the main site would work, but the forum link would take me to a page with a message board that was in some foreign language. That lasted for maybe 20 minutes.
