Saw the Reign play Smuesy's Alaska Aces tonight. It was my 5th home game attended out of 8 played. Although shot totals were pretty even, Ontario controlled most of the game and won 3-2. Alaska's only goals were on a 5-on-3 and a too-little-too-late shot with 2minutes left. Got to see the Reign score on a penalty shot. The two teams play each other tomorrow, but I can't go. It's my friend's birthday. Bob uses the same bogus reason for talking shit to Porter as he does for doing it to me. I'm disappointed that Czech didn't post during or after the Blackhawks game. My disappointment has nothing to do with my team winning/me wanting to gloat, lest you get the wrong idea. I just wanted to be able to talk hockey with him, and for once I would have known what he was talking about when discussing a Blackhawks game.

Really fun game between the Kings and the Blackhawks. The Kings won 5-2, but it was a lot closer than the score indicates. Both teams were evenly matched most of the way through, but the Kings scored 3 goals on 6 shots (including Derek Armstrong, who barely plays, reminding us of his existence) and finished with 4 unanswered goals for the victory. The Hawks looked great for 2 and 1/2 periods, but just shit the bed in the last half of the 3rd with penalty after penalty. Philadelphia at Toronto followed by Vancouver at Calgary on HNIC tonight. Hopefully, the guys at the gym will switch one TV to thje NHL Network or else I'll miss 2/3 of the Flyers/Leafs game.

I'm not opposed to advertising on uniforms of minor league teams- the Ontario Reign have a Toyota logo on the back of their jerseys, beneath the number- but what I saw tonight was too much. Their opponents, the Bakersfield Condors, had Carl's Jr./Hardee's star logos inside the numbers on their jerseys. I mean, come on.

They have always tossed in non-existent notes on GH. It is less prevalent on World Tour, but it still happens. The fucked up thing is that they add notes on most songs but leave one out on "Living on a Prayer", fucking up my timing.

Indeed. I've mentioned before that I have been meaning to watch more games and learn about more teams through HNIC. I'm just either out on Saturday nights with friends, or attending ECHL games, so I usually only get to see the last period of game 1 between returning from the gym and leaving for the arena or wherever I may be going on nights when there are no Reign games. It's definitely a good thing to have available, though. There's no Reign game Saturday, and I currently have no other plans, so I will try to watch both HNIC games. Also, I need to check on the schedule for games on Versus.

Fucking sick finish in Denver. Hornets win 105-101. I only saw the last minute, but I wish I had seen the entire game. Instead, I was out of town eating turkey and ham and watching football blowouts in glorious HD. Side note: Even though the games sucked, I've officially been spoiled by HD football. I need to upgrade to an HD receiver for my DirecTV, stat. I'm officially with Marvin on the HD thing and nothing else). But back to the Nuggets/Hornets game, amazing stuff. From Carmelo's incredible effort to tie it at 88, to James Posey's clutch 3 to give NO the lead, to J.R. Smith drilling one from a fucking mile away, it was beautiful. According to the box score, the whole game was competitive. That single minute I saw exemplifies why I love the NBA. It's just unfortunate for New Orleans that they have some issues that in no way have to do with their level of talent, and that they won't be able to go any further than they already have under Byron Scott (coach being the problem; not players). If they had their shit straight, I truly believe James "Big Game" Posey would make the difference between last season's finish and an NBA Championship.

I'm vain because I pointed out the fact that every post I see from you criticizes me in some way. That makes perfect sense. Stop mentioning my name, particularly in a derogatory manner but preferably altogether, and the problem will cease. I don't think you will make an effort to do so, but if you choose to continue doing what you're doing, please don't try to falsely attribute your actions to any of my personality flaws. My numerous imperfections are not the reason you've come out of the ether to act like a jackass.
