While it may be cool for the live crowd I get annoyed watching guys wait in the corner,perched for the dreaded spear or Sweet Chin Music(while we're at it how about a stupidest finisher names thread) or when the Rock would wait for his opponent to get up to Rock Bottom him...just waiting in general always seemed stupid to me when you trying to beat the hell outta somebody

You have a point there with Eugene as a face with heel backing but I like it...it's a different angle...I've always thought that a good way to get sympathy pops would be t have somebody who is over as a face get stuck with a heel controlling their actions and with Dinsmore he has both EB and Regal although if the WWE is smart they would have Regal stay tweener for a while...I wouldn't mind a Regal face run with maybe La Res. beating down Regal and Eugene defending him...and it all goes dow in TWO WEEKS!!!(had to stay on topic)

I like the 2 week thing and hope that they keep it up...I'm tired of them acting like they only had 2 matches booked and then just let everybody who got pissed of at each other wrestle as if it were unplanned...it's like each week the NFL just lets teams loose at each other without scheduling match-ups...I mean what would the WWE do had Edge not come out and harrassed Orton..we wouldn't have had a the tag title match(which makes no sense). Advertise a little WWE...you would be amazed at what might happen

As long as we are on the subject of SD! as well as competing against New Japan the WWE just need to send the cruisers into overdrive for a while...at least one cruiser singles match or title match with a six man tag to start the show...every damn week!!

Every single time he and the Rock got in the ring together was simply classic...they will go down as the best fued of the Attitude era...all of those in ring segments where you could just feel the intensity between the two and later on when the did the sing along together...classic...the respect between those two gave way to some amazing moments..I'll never forget 'Mania when after three Rock Bottoms Rock finally pinned Austin and held his hand as he was pinning him...it was just great to see the two of them like that...I doubt we'll see anything that great again...at least not until Eddie and Benoit can be on the same show again

What I love about angles like this one is that no one comes to help the perosn who is injured...I mean if there is a "brawl" in the ring or in the back then you've got thirty fucking refs and 4 emts with stretchers out there in seconds..but hit the Rock with a semi, throw Kane into a burning dumpster or leave Kurt freaking Angle bleeding his brains out and there isn't one sole person around....God why am I still watching this stuff?????!!!!

So we're all pretty much in agreement that JBL/Eddie will probably suck but I want to give the feud a chance for Eddies' sake simply because I want him to have a long title run. Let's get some ideas on where Eddie should go next....I personally think that after JBL Eddie needs a match with Booker T to settle the score between them but a feud with Rey is what I'm waiting for...face vs. face...give me your thoughts folks.....

As Angles' boy I hope that Charlie Haas gets on a major run and gets a shot as he is becoming one of the better workers on SD!...I like the idea of Eddie going through challenger after challenger until Angle returns to handle things himself..out of the many GMs of the WWE he may have the best reason to hate the main face on his respective brand...I mean Eddie stopped his last title shot at Mania..

I'm not sure what they have to do with eachother. Eddie can have a long reign with out a Bradshaw feud. They have a score? I'd say after the locker room confrontation and all that Booker has said about Smackdown!...the brand that Eddie has wrestled for and is now Champion of qualifies as a score that needs to be settled but I see your point..they haven't started the build-up for that eventual match up yet.... ...and as far as JBL goes...everybody is pissing on this fued like it was a bar-room toleit and I don't want it to tarnish Eddie as Champion in the process..

My post isn't so much about praising JBL as it is wanting Eddie to have credible opponents as to make him one of the better champions we've had. And I've heard that the house show matches have sucked but maybe the pay-per-view match will be better...I'd love to see Eddie versus Angle,Benoit,HBK,Flair,HHH,ect. as much as anybody but the fact is IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN...at least not for a while...and my point is that in the long run this feud serves to build Eddie as a strong Champion...able to beat opponents of shapes and sizes..I'm starting a new thread that I'd like all of you to go to soon about who you would like to see in the title hunt on SD! so that we can get of this pointless subject and do something constructive for once.

Awww Come ON!!! Give this angle a chance!! Those of you comparing this feud with those of Bret Harts are ABSOLUTELY right!!! Yes Survivor Series of 92 didn't have Bret featured as the main event but can any of you say that he is any less of a great CHAMPION because of that?! Bret Hart made okay workers look great and hardly EVER had a good worker to have a match with. Eddie can do the same if not(dare I say) more!! I think that everybody is kind of missing the point...most people know that Eddie's in it for the long hall and that Bradshaws NOT getting that title(at least I hope not). Bradshaw is going through a makeover and it will be interesting to see how his style has been changed..they need to give him some technical but powerful moves(bearhugs,work the back,ect.) Everybody wanted new stars but the WWE doesn't have anybody..I mean at this point in Eddies title run he needs to still become an established champ and to do this he needs to beat a variety of opponents..like Brets first run as champ. I know it's hard to believe that Bradshaw can work but we should at least give it a chance..at least for Eddies sake

Get a clue? Have you watched the O'Reilly Factor? I'm not saying that Fox News is gonna drive a news truck with some damn bullhorns on it and make a Latino-American wax it and make fun of them but both have been VERY vocal about U.S. immigration policies...O'Reilly going so far as to say that we should have the Marines stationed on the borders...and I'm not even saying that is bad thing...read one their books or just watch the show..you'll get what I mean

Tom Zenk was the freakin' MAN! His articles were some of the funniest things that I had ever read and his knowledge about the business was usaully right on(albeit extremely jaded..but what do you expect). I hope that his book does come out someday( one of the last things on his former site was an excerpt from his book) because it could be the best wrestling book to date. If anyone knows where I can find any of his articles from his site I would love to find them.

I agree with keeping the splash and the northernlights suplex would be great if that and every other suplex wasn't already being used as just standard match fodder...what's with all these guys and their damn injuries...the old guys never seemed to have this many problems..it's like the NFL

I'm just glad that they toned down the whole wall street and FOX News blah blah blah this week and tried something different(WWE and different?). But you have to give the hoss a little credit...he's been playing the beer drinking Texan for the better part of 5 years now...this heel thing seems to be picking up steam

Cena is the man right now but to be slightly critical I will say that his last 4 or so TV matches have only been about 15 minutes total combined. I agree though..tonight he was a badass
